| Sasuke Uchiha |

"Naruto knock it off." I tell him just as I catch him taking a snapchat selfie of he and I. I threw my satchel on the table and sat down in a huff. Its been three days. Three days since I've seen or heard anything from Sakura. She hasnt even been to school. What makes the situation even worse, Hinata hasn't spoken to her either.

I was becoming worried. I found myself stalking her social media, something that I just received thanks to Hinata. Her facebook that I had yet to friend request, her snapchat, and her instagram. Just to see if she was active on any of them.

"Hey Sasuke." I turned my head towards the classroom entrance seeing Ino. A worried look plastered on her face.

"What?" I ask her. I had a feeling it'd be something about Karin, on the count of them two being friends, but she was actually getting closer to Sakura than she was with Karin. Which was weird in my opinion.

"Ha-have you heard from Sakura?" She asked quietly. I look away from her to the badly wooden tiled floor beneath us.

"No.." I managed to say.

"Neither have I," She says. "I'm getting worried."

"I'm sure she's fine." I say trying to convince myself as well. "Probably just a cold."

Her eyes flickered with a little hope as she pursed her lips into a small smile. "Yeah, maybe." She says. "See you at lunch."

"See you."

Naruto sat in the chair behind me, different from his usual seat.

"Hinata wants to go over Sakura's place after school and find out what's going on." He says lowly.

I wanted to go, but I sided not to. If anyone would get answers from Sakura, it was Hinata.

"I cant go." I tell him flatly.

"Why not?!" His eyebrows furrowed together in a frown.

"If we're gonna figure out what's going on, its best if Hinata goes alone." I tell him. "Their best friends at the end of the day Naruto. If you and I or anyone else is there, Sakura wouldn't tell us anything."

He sat there knowing that what I said was right. Whatever it was that Sakura was going through, it needed to come to a stop. And fast. Hinata entered the classroom looking like the winner of a dead cat. Or rather so, like she did when our freshman year started.

"Hey babe, you okay?" Naruto asked worriedly. Sat in the seat in front of me, and turned to us.

"No, Sakura still hasn't answered any of my calls." She says. "I'm worried."

She's the reason why everyone is so worried. Hinata knows something that none of us know about Sakura. Seeing her so worried over Sakura has us worried.

Yes, its only been three days, but the days seem longer when you dont see or hear from someone youre so used to talking to. I could feel for Hinata at this moment. Although I may not show it, if this was Naruto and I, I'd be worried about him too. Simply because he's my best friend and he and I know more about eachother than anyone else. If Naruto started acting like me, I knew something was wrong. There was no way anyone could bring him out of his cheery attitude.

"I'll take you over there after school." I tell her.

"Thank you Sasuke." She says.

"Just, tell me if she's okay in return."

A smile crept across her face. "I will."

Sasuke and I pulled up to Sakura's home. He put the car in park and sat back in his seat as I stared and the brick house.

"Tell her everyone is worried about her." He says. I look over his way. I couldnt see his face because his hair was covering his eyes. It stopped just shortly of his nose. Giving it an shadowy glow to his face.

"I-I will. Thank you Sasuke." I tell him. I get out of his car and walk up the stone pathway to Sakura's home. I knocked lightly on the door. It took a few moments but the door slowly opened revealing Sakura's mother. I guess she had an off day today.

"Hi Mrs. Haruno." I smiled at her. "Is Sakura home?"

She stepped aside allowing me entrance. I slowly walked inside.

"Yes, she's in her room honey." She says. "She could use some company, she hasnt been feeling well lately." Her eyebrows furrowed together in concern for her babygirl.

"Okay." I tell her. I walk up the small steps to Sakura's room. Forgetting to even knock, I opened the door seeing her curled into a little ball.

"I said I was fine mom." She croaks out.

"S-Sakura." My voice trembled. Sakura quickly sat up in the bed looking over at me. We held eachother's gaze before she finally broke down. Closing her door, I ran to her aid.

Fifteen minutes had passed before she finally eased up on her crying. Through snot and tears, she told me everything. I couldnt help but cry with her.

"Sakura this has to stop." I tell her. "Please tell somebody. Somebody that can help you. Or I'll tell someone myself."

She trembled under my touch.

"I'm scared Hinata." She says. "What- what would happen to my family?"

"It would be much better than you dealing with this Sakura." I tell her. "I cant sit around and let this happen to you anymore. Everyone at school is worried about you!"

"They arent here though." She mumbles.

"Sasuke dropped me off here." I tell her hoping it would bring her mood up. "He's waiting outside. He never pulled off. He thought it would be better if I came in instead of everyone coming over at once."

She grew quiet.

"Sakura please.."I plead with her. "It doesnt have to be like this."

I could feel her crying. "What am I gonna do Hinata?" She asks.

"Get help Sakura." I tell her. "We're all here for you regardless. This isnt middle school anymore where we just had eachother. We have Naruto & Sasuke now. Even Ino and everyone else cares so much about you. They wont turn their back on you for something your father is doing."

She looked up at me and I wiped away a few tears.

"Wanna go for some ice cream?" I purse my lips into a smile. Knowing she would love to go. Pokingg her lip out she nodded and I couldn't help but giggle, causing her to giggle through her tears as well.

I helped her out her bed and she walked over to her mirror.

"Is he still outside?" She asks tugging at her messed up hair. I stepped over to her window that looked over her front of the house. I could see Sasuke now standing outside of his car, smoking a joint.

"Yes." I say simply. "I guess He's waiting to take me home."

"I look a mess." She mumbles.

I sat on her bed as a smile crept up on my face.

"You like him dont you Sakura?" I could see her red cheeks through her full body mirror.

"I can't believe you'd be so attracted to someone like Sasuke." I say with a giggle. He's so...him." I giggle after my words.

"He's different around me." She whispers. "It's almost like he's happy. And it makes me happy. Something like how Naruto makes you feel Hinata."

My eyes softened at her expression. Her eyes glazed over, her lips tugged at the sides in a small smile.

"Im such a loser." She says.

"No you're not." I tell her. "And get dressed. I know you dont want Sasuke to see you in those sweats do you?" A smirk crept its way on my face as I watched her freeze up in front of the mirror. Her eyes traveled to me.

"Oh, you're good." She says in a low voice causing me to laugh.

I waited for Sakura to get dressed. She wore simple ripped jeans and a sweater. She brushed her hair out and pulled it back into a neat ponytail.

After she finished, she and I walked out her room.

"Mom?" Sakura called out.

"Yes honey?"

"I'm going with Hinata okay?"

"Okay sweetie, but this time please let me or your father know you're sleeping over there."

She glanced over at me.

"Okay mom I think that's what Im going to do for the weekend. Let me pack a few things." Sakura returns back to her room. I took that as my cue and walked out of the house. Sasuke stood there leaning against the passenger door. He just finished his joint and was putting it out.

"How is she?" He asked as soon as I got within earshot. You can tell he was still concerned, which was why he stayed. But he tried to play it off by switching his tone to a nonchalant manner.

"She's fine." I say simply before getting in the backseat. He held the door open.

"What are you getting in the backseat for?" He looked at me in confusion.

"Hey Duckbutt." His eyes grew wide as he turned around. Sakura stood there with a bag slung over her shoulder. She looked at him nervously. Like any highschool girl with a crush would look at him. She twiddled her fingers.

Sasuke didn't hesitate to take the girl in his arms. Her arms around his neck as she burried her face within them. I smiled at the sight.

"Don't ever make me worry about you like that again." He whispers against my skin. His breath sent a shiver down my spine.

"I'm sorry." I reply. "Thank you."

"What are you thanking me for?" He pulled away just to get a look at my face. My cheeks became red as I looked down at his shirt. A tattoo on his shoulder peaking out from the collar of his shirt.

"For caring.." I reply to him. I felt a hand on my chin. He tilted my chin up forcing me to look at him. He had a smile on his face. Something that made my heart pound. He knew that smile of his is gold.

"You don't have to thank me Monster." He says. "I should apologize to you."

"It honestly wasnt your fault." I tell him. "It just triggered something."

He shakes his head. "I shoulve been more careful."

We look into eachother's eyes. The butterflies fluttered around in the pits of my stomach making me hold my breath. Again, he smiled. His lips found their way to mine in a soft tender kiss.

"Hinata's watching." I tell him.

"I don't care." He replies deepening the miss. He slowly pulled away from the kiss, letting the moment linger.

"I-I want ice cream." I smirk.

He chuckled. "Then Ice cream you shall get." He steps aside slowly closing Hinata's door before opening mine. I climbed in and she shut the door before slowly walking to the driver.

"I swear my heart just blew up in my chest." Hinata says from the back seat. "I'm gonna make a shirt with you too on it."

I rolled my eyes. "You're so childish." I laughed. Sasuke got in the car and revved the engine. He pulled off from the curb and drove down the street. We pulled up at Naruto's house soon after.

"I'll be back." He says getting out the car.

He knocks on the door and a man with blonde hair answered.

"Wow Naruto looks just like his dad." I say.

"And his dad is so nice!" Hinata added. "You'd love Minato."

I watched as Sasuke and Naruto's father exchanged words before he allowed him inside.

| Naruto Uzumaki |

"Naruto!" My dad called my name. "Sasuke's here."

I crawled out of my bed and yawned before opening my bedroom door. Sasuke stood on the other end with that typical look on his face.

"Were you sleep?" He asked bogaurded his way into my room.

"Kind of." I scratched my head. "Whats up dude?"

"Get dressed." He says looking out my window.

I tilted my head at him. "Where we goin?"

"Why are you asking questions all of a sudden?" He turns to look at me. "Just put some damn clothes on. I'll wait for you in the car." And just like that he walked out of my room. I could hear Karin yelling his name and my mother telling her to leave him alone.

I walked over to my closet and found myself some jeans and a shirt. I threw my jacket on and pulled my shoes on before grabbing my wallet, phone and keys and stuffing them into the pockets of my jeans. My pet, Kurama sat in my door way looking at me with a sad face. He wasnt really a dog but since my mother works at an animal rescue shelter, she bought us a fox because in her defense "it looked alot like me". I didn't know how to take it, but I accepted him as a pet. He swears he's a dog, and if you're not looking good enough, you'd think he was.

I pet him on the head. "I'll be back boy. Take care of my room for me okay?" I smiled at him and it was like he smiled back at me. I reached my hand out for his paw and he graciously gave me his paw. We shook hands and he walked around me to my bed getting comfortable right in the middle. I closed my room door and walked down the hallway.

"I'm going!" I yell to my family.

"Have fun son!" My father calls out after me. He holds a hand in the air and I slap it as I walk by.

"Be careful!" My mom says from the kitchen. Karin shot daggers at me as she usually does whenever I leave with Sasuke and she couldnt tag along.

I walked out of the house to see Sasuke leaning against his car talking to Sakura, who sat in the passenger seat. I jogged up to the car.

"Hey Sakura!" I smile at her. "How are you?"

"Im good Naruto." Her eyes softened as she looked at me. "Thank you for caring."

"It's no problem. We're friends. Practically family." I walk to the back of the car and opened the back door to see Hinata sitting there smiling at me. I climbed in and closed the door. "Hey babe."

"Hey." She says. "We're going for ice cream." She smiles brightly just like a child. God I love this woman.

"What?" I say. "But Sasuke hates ice cream." I watch as he slides into the driver seat.

"Shut up Naruto." He says before driving.

"Oh, we-well we dont ha-"

"Shh." Sasuke shushed Sakura as she tried to talk. "If my monster wants ice cream, my monster is getting ice cream." He looks over at her and I could see the smirk on his face from the back seat. "Understood."

Sakura said nothing but I knew she nodded her head. I smiled and looked over at Hinata. If we didn't know any better, it looked like Sasuke had a real big soft spot for Sakura. Which was weird. He never gave any girl the time of day since his parents. I should know.

He'd never let anyone get so close to him. The tenderness that he showed Sakura was something different. It was like my old best friend was coming back and I couldn't be more happier. I missed him. This Sasuke was alright. Kind of a dick but alright nonetheless. I missed my old friend though. The one who I made great memories with and didn't hate the world in general. The one who actually acknowledged his friends instead of just saying they were mine. He was my best friend again. Slowly but surly.
