X. Following The Lines
*McKenzie's POV*
I sit on my bed and try to recover. A knock comes to the door, and I mumble for them to come in.
Chris walks in, and closes the door. He sits next to me, and rubs my back.
"She's just being your mom." He says, trying to comfort me. I get up and pace.
"No. She's not. Ever since my father found out she cheated on him with one of her 'stars', she's been snipity and mean." I put my hands on my face. "She never loved my dad, she never loved Kraya, and she never loved me." I say, and Chris drags me back to him and hugs me.
"It'll be okay. We'll go, and you can forget your mom for three days. Please?" He pleads, looking up at me. I nod.
"We leave when? Tonight? Tomorrow?" He looks at my watch.
"About three hours from now." He says, and makes me sit down on his lap. He wraps his arms around my waist and drops a kiss onto my shoulder.
I smile, and sigh. I need to figure out what to perform.
*TimeSkip: Once they got to LA*
(This is going to be a stretch, but if you recognize the name, you are awesome. If not, you still are awesome but he's so funny.)
I knock on Fischbach's door, and Matt opens it.
"MAC!" Matt gives me a bone crushing hug, and I laugh.
"Hi, Matt." I gasp, and tap out.
"Sorry." He releases me, and I see Ryan and hug him.
"Who's this, Mac?!" Matt shouts.
"Matt. Inside voice. This, is Chris Evans.... Formally known as-"
"CAPTAIN AMERICA AND JOHNNY STORM!" Ryan yells. I grimace.
"Ryan." I mumble.
"Sorry." Ryan apologizes and I see Mark.
"Fischbach!"
"Alister!" He hugs me, and I laugh. Chris gives me a look.
"Chris, this is Mark, a college best friend. He currently works as a YouTube star called-"
"Okay." Chris interrupts. Um.
"Oohhkkaayy." I say, and grab my suitcase from him.
"Who's this, Alister?" Mark asks.
"Chris Evans. My boyfriend." I say, and about to say his roles when Ryan grabs onto Mark's arm and gives him the "I'm-so-amazed-and-thrilled" look.
"That's Captain America and Johnny Storm!" Ryan jumps.
"He's also been in What's Your Number, Not Another Teen Movie, and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World." I add, giving a glare to Ryan.
"Ahh. Now you look familiar." Mark says, smiling. "I loved your performance in Scott Pilgrim." Chris nods, and Matt smiles.
"Sing?" He asks. Great.
"Yeah! C'mon...." Ryan and Mark say at the same time. I sigh and groan.
"Great." I mumble, and find a song to sing.
"Boy don't wait, don't think, don't lock the door behind you
Run and jump into your truck, and hit the gas, burn some rubber up
Yeah your time's running out
Do it now
Take a shortcut, take a back road, take the shoulder to the exit
Skip the parking, screw the ticket, hit the curb and leave it sitting
Whatever it takes
You gotta get to that gate
She's cryin' on a suitcase
Sittin' at the airport
Waitin' on the airplane
Bout to take her out of here
Ooh
They're gonna call her number
She'll sit down by the window
The plane'll leave the runway
And fade into a goodbye sky
You better run while you still got time
She's cryin' on a suitcase
Admit it boy you blew it, you really messed it up
You can make excuses if you really want to lose her
It's all on the line, do or die time
Getting on your knees time
Tell her that you want her, need her, love her, gotta have her
Everything good in your life begins and ends with her
Lose your pride while you can
Come on man be a man
She's cryin' on a suitcase
Sittin' at the airport
Waitin' on the airplane
Bout to take her out of here
Ooh
They're gonna call her number
She'll sit down by the window
The plane'll leave the runway
And fade into a goodbye sky
You better run while you still got time
She's cryin' on a suitcase
She's cryin' on a suitcase
Waitin' on the airplane
Bout to take her out of here
They're gonna call her number
She'll sit down by the window
The plane'll leave the runway
And fade into a goodbye sky
You better run while you still got time
Well you still got time
She's cryin' on a suitcase
Waitin' on the airplane
She'll fade into a goodbye sky"
I finish and they all applaud very sarcastically.
"Very good." Mark says, and I glare at him.
"What?!" He yells, and I have to laugh. I can't stay mad at him for very long.
"Ugh Twiddle-Dum!" Ryan laughs.
"Who's Twiddle-Dee?" I growl.
"Me!!!" I put my head in my hands before sighing.
"Don't kill them. Don't kill them. Don't kill them." I say to myself. I notice Chris and Mark gone when I look up.
"Where did Dummy 1 and Dummy 2 go?" I ask. Ryan points outside.
Mother of Cheese.
"Chris!" I run outside, and stop Chris from punching Mark.
"Mac, help!" Mark says, looking scared.
"Don't you dare talk to her." Chris growls, and I force him to take a deep breath and step back.
"Chris. What's up with you? You've been acting like a jealous boyfriend since we walked in!" I say, and make him look at me.
"What's your connection to him?" He asks me.
"We went to college together. Chill pill, we didn't even date or anything. He helped me out with some boy problems in college and gave me the run around about the campus. He was like my tour guide. Except the fact he lived on the complete opposite side of campus. Calm down please." I plead, trying my best not to punch this idiot.
"That's it?" I nod.
"Yes. He was just a friend." He nods, and drops his head onto my shoulder and apologizes to me.
"Is not need you need to apologize to." I whisper in his ear, and he hugs me.
"I know." He lets go of me and goes to tell Mark he was sorry. Mark let us stay in his house for the next three days, in exchange for tickets to the awards show. I happily agreed, knowing he was going to go anyway rather he said it as a condition or not.
I have my nice points when I feel like it, chill!
