I got dressed and made my way downstairs until someone stopped me.

"Going somewhere?" My older sister Kaya said to me.

"Actually yes, I'm going to the movies." I said pushing past her.

She jumped back in front of me and whipped her dark brown hair in my face. "With Zeke?" She asked giving me a awkward smile.

"Um yeah why?" I said ducking and climbing under her arm that was attempting to block me.

"Because, it's so obvious you like each other." She crossed her arms.

I stopped and turned back around. "What do you mean?" I tried not to sound too eager.

"Well, you two were in a closet together." She stated proudfully.

"You saw?" I cocked my head.

"I didn't just see, I helped. I was the one who pushed you in there, Sam pushed Zeke in, and June was the one who shut the door." She grinned.

"You bitch, just leave me alone." I said walking out the front door into Zeke's car.

Because of Kat (& Sam and June) I have developed feelings for Zeke.

I slammed the door and then looked into Zeke's eyes. "So what movie are we seeing?" I asked leaning back.

"Well the only one out is a stupid love story called 'A Day with the Rose' I don't know, we can go somewhere else..." He said.

"No it's fine." I smiled.

"Okay." He backed out of the driveway.

We walked into the movie theater and bought our tickets. I looked to my left and I saw a blonde haired girl death staring me.

Oh shit.

Cece made her way over here and took Zeke by the arm.

"Why are you here with her?" Cece motioned to me.

"We are hanging out." Zeke said ever so casually.

"Oh." She said looking me up and down.

"Okay well bye." Zeke said hugging her.

Wow I think she thought he was gonna invite her to see a movie with us because she looks really surprised he just said bye to her.

"Yeah whatever bye." She said stomping off with her entourage of girls.

We sat in our seats and the movie began. It was pretty boring but we mostly just laughed at it and tried to catch popcorn in our mouths.

I went to grab another handful of popcorn and so did Zeke. We touched hands and we both turned to each other. He closed his hand on mine and smiled.

What the hell is going on?

I looked at his hand confused and then into his eyes.

I leaned in, and for a split second I thought we were going to kiss. I closed my eyes and got closer to him but he let go of my hand and pulled away.

"What are you doing?" Zeke said raising his eyebrows.

"I-I don't know, I'm sorry I shouldn't have come." I said grabbing my stuff and standing up. "Next time, bring Cece, your girlfriend."

"April wait!" I heard him say as I ran down the stairs trying to hold back my cry while everyone in the movie theater hushed us.

I ran into the lobby and out the doors. I stood outside for a moment when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"April...." Zeke said pulling me in.

"No, I'm sorry, I don't know what just happened. Honestly I just got caught up in the moment. So don't go thinking I have feelings for you." I lied turning away and crossing my arms.

"It's okay, I understand." He said.

"You do?" I turned back around.

"Yeah I got caught up in the moment too." He leaned back and forth on his tippy toes.

I laughed and then hugged him "I'm sorry, we are so stupid." I smiled.

"Yeah, we are." He said.

Oh Zeke, if only you knew my feelings for you were real. What would you do then?
