I woke up once again in the hospital room even though my last memory was at home.

"What am I doing here?" I demanded as nurse Jackson walked into my room.

"We'll Miss April, if your mother hadn't forgotten her cell phone at your house then you would be laying on your stairs right now." She assured me.

I tried to speak but no words came out of my mouth. I had nothing to say, I had no idea what to say!

"I'm guessing your probably wondering why you collapsed on your stairs, huh?" She asked.

I nodded reluctantly afraid of what would be said.

"Hunny, I'm afraid all the damage to your brain during the accident caused you to develop narcolepsy." She sighed.

"What's that?" I managed to croak out.

"It's a rare sleep disorder where you fall asleep at any time of the day without warning. Sometimes it can be caused by excitement in emotion. So even laughing can trigger it." She turned away motioning my parents in the room." They came a beside me and gave me a hug. "But sadly, you have the more affective form of it, a deathly one. Even too much commotion can trigger your brain to tell your heart to stop and then.....well you could die." She walked out of the room leaving my parents to talk to me.

"Zeke wants to see you." My mom said as she opened my door.

"Okay." I said fixing my hair a bit.

"Hey. I heard about your condition." Zeke sighed. " And I just want you to know that no matter how bad this gets, I will always be by your side. I love you and no disease or sickness will ever change that." He kissed my forehead.

I began to cry a bit and I nestled my head into his shoulder. I wanted this moment to last forever, his arms around me and holding each other tight.

Zeke and I, our love entwined together as fast as it is going to break apart.

"I love you April." His words started to fade as a tear rolled down my cheek.

"I love you too." Was the last thing I said as the last word became echo-y and.....

Blury.

Darkness.

The moment really did last forever.
