"Is April okay?" I pestered nurse Jackson. (AN: if you watch the Red Band society you will understand why that is her name:)

"Don't get your panties in a twist, we will be examining her this after noon-" she started before the doctor ran out of April's room.

"Nurse Jackson?" The doctor began as he ran over to her.

"Yes?" She asked concerned.

"April...." He looked at me then lowered his voice a bit. "Lost her memory. She doesn't know her name or who anyone is."

"WHAT?" I ran into April's room and started panting franticly. April's parents then stood up and looked at me.

"April you remember me right?" I whined.

"Who are you and why are you calling me 'April' I'm pretty sure my name is Megan." She said matter of factly.

Her parents looked at me and sighed when they saw the tears roll down my cheeks.

"It's okay Zeke, she will remember you some time." Her mother said attempting to give me hope.

"Thanks." I frowned.

Nurse Jackson then walked in and looked at me.

"Can I speak with you?" She hissed.

"Yeah?" I walked through the corridor.

She slapped me upside the head and I yelped.

"What was that for?" I rubbed the side of my head.

"Do you have any idea what her parents are going through? They don't need some kid barging in and screaming at their daughter." She crossed her arms. "And you should be thankful. There was barely any chance of April ever waking up but she did! So be happy it's just her memory and not death." She snapped.

I looked down in utter embarrassment realizing she was right.

"I'm sorry." I closed my eyes trying to prevent tears.

"Just don't do it again, and try not to be so selfish." She walked off shaking her head, mumbling something to herself.

I'm going to wake April up if it's the last thing I do. I just need to jog her memory like they do in the movies.......but with what?
