*Zeke's P.O.V. unless stated*

The bell rang and Mrs. Pezzi already assigned us something to do. It's a partner project and everyone had a partner except me.

Just when I thought I was gonna be paired with a group of two and me as 'the extra', April walked in.

She dropped her bag on the ground and sat in her seat. I heard something start to roll from her back pack and under my seat, so I reached to grab it.

"No!" April shouted at me.

My mouth dropped as I picked it up and held it to my face.

No.

My heart jumped out of my chest and onto the moon. Nothing felt real except for her and I.

"You.....are the girl I've been looking for?" I said staring at the tube of golden lipstick in my hand.

"I thought you'd never ask." April half smiled afraid I would be upset with her.

Wow. I never thought it would be April. I was in love with this girl, am in love with this girl.

I then started to admire things that I never really noticed about her. She is a really beautiful girl, and it took me this long to see that? It took me this long to realize my true feelings for her. But at the same time I felt kind of mad. I don't know why but I had to get out of this classroom.

"Can I be excused?" I jumped out of my seat.

"If you must." Mrs. Pezzi said to me.

"Zeke!" April screamed as I scuttled through the doorway.

I ran out of the school and started to walk home, I can't deal with this right now. I need to let it all sink in.
