Makyla's POV

I woke up and felt something around my waist, I looked down and saw Nico's arms wrapped around me.I rolled on my side with Nico's arm still around me.I saw he was smiling in his sleep and I thought it was cute.I looked at the time.and it was 7:58."Styx." I cursed jumping up and grabbing clothes from my closet.Nico was still asleep as I went into my bathroom.I quickly changed from my pajamas to the clothes, brushed my hair and braided it into a fishtail braid.I walked back in my room and looked at the time,8:01.I saw Nico still asleep on my bed."Nico."I whispered,he didn't wake up."Nico" I said a little louder,still didn't wake up."Nico!" I said and he jumped and rolled of the bed and hit the floor."Ow." He said."What was that for?"He asked rubbing his arm where he hit it on the floor."We have  10 minutes to get to school." I said crossing my arms."Oh Styx." He cursed."I said the same thing.Now get up." I said holding my hand out.I pulled him up and grabbed my bag,charm braclet and necklace.I gave them to Nico and said,"Get them to the car I want to try something." I climbed out the window and jumped over the railing doing a back flip.I fell a few feet and landed in the pool canna-ball style.I got out and I was dry."This place keeps getting better and better." I said to myself running to the car.I got in and saw Nico come out of the doors with the keys in hand."Thanks." I said grabbing my bag when he got in the car.We sped off and Nico quickly drove to the school.When we got there I jumped out the car with my bag and pulled my necklace and it became a violin.I ran to my locker and put my bag in it and got my stuff for my first class."What?! No hug?" Alivia asked.I turned around dropped my stuff and tackled Alivia in a hug."Really,Why do you keep knocking me down? I just got this guitar I don't want to break it." She whined.I got up and put my violin case strap on my shoulder and picked my stuff up.I closed my locker and picked up Alivia's guitar."You got a violin?Who got it for you?"Alivia asked."That the thing." I whispered."It's also a necklace." I finished."Really Makyla.You read too many books.Your imagination is too big."She said pointing towards my head.I looked at her like 'Really' then  said in Greek,"back to a necklace" and it turned into the necklace."Whoa." She said looking surprised."It's also like that with my charm bracelet." I said smiling like 'I told ya so'.I pulled the necklace and it turned back into a violin."Nico your going to be late!" I yelled at him as he turned the corner."Ok." He said shrugging and I glared at him playfully."What class do you have first?"I asked Alivia."Greek." She answered and I smiled."Come on then." I said and pulled her to class."We have another new student." I told Mr.Brunner."She moved from the same town as me." I said."Well I'm glad to have more students in the class.May I ask,What is your name?" Mr.Brunner asked."Alivia La Rue" She said and Mr.Brunner nodded a little surprised."You can sit in the back next to Makyla."He said gesturing towards the back.I walked to the back and put the violin case strap on the back of the chair and sat my stuff under my chair and took a pencil and my drawing notebook out.Nico walked in the door as I was drawing the stars.I drew a constellation of a girl holding a bow like she was about to shoot.I always loved that constellation,I don't know why but I did.Nico sat down and class started.I honestly think this was too easy.Alivia,Nico,and I finished all our work early.Nico twisted a skull ring around his finger,Alivia tapped her foot on the ground,and I started clicking a pen.Mr.Brunner looked at us over his glasses."You three in the back are dismissed.Don't get into any trouble." He said and I picked my stuff up and went to my locker.I put my books and note book in my locker and took my iPod and headphones out.I chose Titanium and started singing along and Alivia took a earbud and started singing too.We listened to music until we had five minutes left until the bell rung for the end of class.I put my iPod and headphones in my violin case and started walking with Alivia and Nico to the music room.People started going out the door of the music room before the bell rung.I went to my seat and pulled my violin out."So you're the one joining our group?" I asked Alivia and she shrugged.The bell rung and people started coming through the door.I saw Piper and Hazel talking as they came through the door."Hey Pipes.Hey Hazel!" I said as they sat down with there instruments."This is Alivia,one of my home town friends.Alivia this is Piper and Hazel.I met them at a pool place not far from the apartments." I said and they nodded hello when I said their name."Ok class.Get in your groups and you can start practicing.Alivia is joining the three girls she's sitting next to.Starting...now." The teacher said and I turned my chair to sit infront of Hazel,Piper and Alivia."The song we are practicing is Beyond the veil by Lindsey Stirling."I said and Alivia nodded.We practiced for the whole class when the bell rung signaling lunch.We all put our instruments in the case and quickly muttered ,"back to a necklace" in Greek and my violin turned into the necklace when no one was looking.I walked to the cafeteria and got my food.I walked out the cafeteria and sat against some lockers,eating in silence."Well.Look what we have here.What is a beautiful girl like you doing out here alone?"Someone asked and I jumped and stood up."The cafeteria is too crowded and loud."I said worriedly,feeling something bad was about to happen."Do you know that you're a demigod?" He asked and I look at him questionably."I'll take that as a no.Do you know about the monsters that eat demigods?" I nodded,my fear growing more each second."Are just gonna stand there or watch me eat you?" He smirked and morphed into a minotaur.I screamed really loud and jumped out the way as he lunged at me.I picked my tray with ketchup on it and threw it at the minotaur.The ketchup got in his eyes and he YELLED,"MY EYES!"I would have laughed if he wasn't trying to kill me. I pulled on the dagger charm and it turned into a dagger.I saw Nico,Piper,Aliva,Hazel,Leo,and Jason running down the hallway with weapons in hand.Nico had a black sword that had shadows around it,Piper had a knife like dagger,Alivia had a spear,Hazel had green mist  around her and jems floating around her,Leo's hands where on fire,and Jason had a sword.The minotaur lunged at me again and it barely missed my head with its horn.It hit the locker beside me and got its horns stuck.I stabbed it with my dagger and as I was pulling the dagger out,it was getting up.Nico stood in a striking position next to me holding his shadow sword.After about 1 minute of fighting and dodging the minotaur.I stabbed it in the chest where a heart should be and it turned into yellow dust.I started laughing really hard and I fell on the ground clutching my stomachs.The others looked at me than at each other,wondering how I was laughing after that just happened."I threw-" laugh"my tray-"laugh laugh"at the-" minotaur." laugh laugh"and" laughs" ketchup got in  his eyes."I started to calm down after a while and saw Leo had started laughing too."Um guys."Hazel said,me and Leo not paying attention."GUYS!" She yelled and we stopped laughing and looked at her.She pointed behind us and I turned and saw 20 empousa holding swords or daggers with green stuff(I assume it's poison)on it."Oh Styx." We all said at the same time.They let out a battle cry and ran at us.I stood up and muttered,"sword." And my dagger became a sword.Right when it did I swung it and chopped an emousa's head off and it turned to dust.Me and  Nico were  fighting back-to-back until a poison tipped sword came flying in between us and we jumped out the way.I felt the same feeling I had when I was in my dream before the drakon stabbed me."Makyla!Look-" he was cut short by me turning around and cutting the empousa's legs off and then saying,"Not today." And killing it. I turned around and was flung against the lockers,hitting my head.My eye sight started going fuzzy and I swung my sword hitting the thing that threw me against the lockers.After that I slid down against the lockers.I put my hand to my head and felt warm blood trickle down my hand.I felt someone pick me up as I slipped into darkness.
