James POV

Ok, I have the pasta with chicken and broccoli ready, but I have to buy garlic bread and white wine. Crap, I am so nervous of telling her how I feel. I want this night to be perfect. She has to know how she makes me feel and how I cannot get her out of my mind. I am sweating like a pig. I probably should shower. Omg James, stop dude you can do this. Just calm down. I took a quick shower to calm myself dowm. Now what to wear? Should I wear something extravagant or something simple? I start to look into my closet and found a classy blue shirt. I put on white skinny jeans. (They say it looks hot on boys) I put black Timberland shoes and brushed my messy blond hair. I have to go to Target to buy what I need. I decided to buy what I need and I will buy some white roses she says she loves. I just really hope she likes me back.

Ariana POV

Where is that dress that Dad got me for my 15th birthday? I can't find it. Its a black dress that wraps all my body perfectly, but I can't find it. How can I possibly lose my favorite dress?
The door opened and it was Megan. "What are you looking for?" She asks. I can't stop a minute to even look at her. I have no time. "None of your bloody buisness!" I am freaking out because if I can't find the dress I will have nothing fancy to wear. "Probably its your dignity. It left a long time ago." She trying so hard to make me feel worthless, but this time it won't work because I am focused on my date tonight. Wait! Did I just called it a date? Oh gosh, nevermind. "Are you trying to find your black dress? I actually have it. Dad told me to hide it from you. He apparently didn't want anything from Juan Diego to be in your hands, but if your going with that hot friend of yours then you should totally wear it." She heads out to get the dress.
Was she helping me? That is strange.
She comes with my dress and hands it on to me. "Have a nice date and don't worry I won't tell dad." She winks at me and leaves again with no more words to say. Giving the time left I had there is no time to be in shock about all of this. I pick my red high heels and put some eyeliner and mascara to my eyes. I let my pink hair wavy as it always is. Well I think I am ready. I heard a honk in front of the house. That must be James.

James POV

I was already at her house and I start to honk. The front door open and it was Aria. Wow she looks so stunning! The black dress really showed her curves.

"Hey James!" She says while getting in the car. Aria greets me with a hug which are the best ones ever. I love her hugs. I feel I can hug her forever and not let go of her. I start driving and I put the radio on. Nirvana was singing my favorite song.
We jam all the way to the apartment not caring how ridiculous we looked. And I couldn't be happier.
I am so in love with this girl.

"You did this all for me?" Aria covers her mouth with her hand in shock. "Yes, beautiful! You deserve some fun so I thought of making something special!" I pull her against me and I give her a small peck on the forehead. "Thanks ugliful! It really means a lot to me."  She just cannot take a compliment of being beautiful. Well I, like a gentleman pull her chair and she sat with a big smile in her face. I serve the wine and get the dinner for us. I also brought the white roses.
Seeing all of this she stands up and hugs me. I love this feeling. That's why tonight is the night.

When we finish our dinner I put some salsa music. I know she loves salsa because her father and her are puertoricans. In Puerto Rico salsa is the official dance. Aria taught me all I know. But what she does not know is that I took some special salsa classes just to dance with her. I know, I am so charming. I offered her to dance with me."What are you doing?" She asks with a surprised and confused look at the same time.

"Lets dance!"

She said yes and we danced salsa like for a whole hour.

"Wow are you kidding me Aria that is hilarious!" I couldn't stop laughing with the stories she was telling me. "I know! I have done savage things when I was a teenager!" Seeing this part of her is totally new which I could say it is a pleasure for me to be able to be that person for her.
"You have changed since your father's death I imagine?" I know I was hitting a delicate spot, but I am curious. "Yes he was everything for me. He was the only one who made me truly happy. I love him dearly. If it wasn't for his death everything would be different, but I guess I can't change it all." Here we go I will confess! Ok do not worry, everything will be alright! " Ariana since I met you I knew no one accepted you, I knew that people bully you, but if they see what I see in you they would love you! You are an amazing person. You are funny, smart, genuine, adorable, lovely person, stubborn, talented and absolutely beautiful. I promise that I will protect you for the rest of my life and make you the happiest person on Earth. And I ..." Cutting my words Aria touches my hand and says
"OMG that is the best thing somoene has said to me and..."
Cutting her "But I am not..." Cutting what I was going to say AGAIN! "Let me finish. You are truly my best and only friend and no one can change that fact. I am so grateful you came into my life. So what were you going to say?"

She asks me with her eyes shining at me. "Oh umm ermm... Well I thank God for putting you on my life as my new best friend!" She hugs me tightly.
Oh no I can't confess. She just likes me as a friend. Although its hard, I will accept it because I prefer her happiness above mine. "So can you take me home? Is getting a little late." She grabs her purse and her jacket. "Of course! Umm lets go!"
We head down stairs in the elevator. While waiting I feel fingers against mine. "Thanks so much for tonight and everything!" I just smiled. Because inside of me I was crying.
