I land on the wood boards of the edge as the sun rose. Viggo hops off my back and i flap up and i open the door for the clubhouse and i heard a collective gasp as viggo and i walked in. He dropped the bag in front of hiccup and i say" It's ok... he's good now after all..." i pause not just for suspense but to find the right words" he's my father, my mother never survived through my youth" Hiccup looks at me in disbelief and my wing wraps gently around Viggo as i spot the others slowly reaching for weapons. My eyes shine orange and a small heat flickers across my eyelids as i glance to each and i could hear viggo and hiccup discussing when i saw astrid grip her ax handle and she slowly stood, keeping an eye on me and she lifts it slowly and i yell" get down now!" And i pull hiccup and viggo to the ground and i hear a thump and i saw the ax handle vibrating a mere foot away and i stand, grabbing the ax handle and pulling it out easily. I turn to her, lifting it as i pivot and i raise it to my shoulder level." Why did you do that astrid? He can be trusted now, he wants to learn our ways" "no he doesn't he still has that look that looks like he's planning something and how do i know that he hasn't taken you over?" I sigh and i open the bag and i take out some lens and the eye and i set them on the table" would he have brought these if so?" "Yes!" I decide to revert to dragontounge and i talk to Stormfly" hand me a spine, i know what i'm doing" she shoots one and i catch it and i hand it to her" if i'm really not trustworthy then theres no reason for me to live, strike me down if you believe that" i open my arms, exposing my heart. I knew that this would be the only way to convince her so i closed my eyes and braced for pain. After a minute i hear a clicking sound as the spine hits the ground and arms wrapped around me. I wrapped my arms around astrids shaking body as she cries silently and i wrap my wings around us to give us some privacy. She pulls back" why did you do that? I could've killed you with a thought" " i truly meant what i said and besides your consequences would have been viggo killing you to avenge me" she chuckles slightly and hugs me, i pull my wings back and viggo gives me a small nod and i nod back. Hopefully we can get them to trust viggo, though it will take time. I know i can do it, given enough time.
