————A few years later—————
Now a 15, almost 16 year old young lady, I had built a functional, sustainable livelihood for myself on Isla Nubular. With the ever changing, dangerous climate of the island, and growing increase of dangerous animals, expanding on the treehouse was a hopeless cause, especially with violent storms and the occasional clumsy diplodocus who would crash into the tree. Zeus, who I had raised, was now almost fully grown, and was absolutely massive. He also understood me and listened to me, since we had grown up together. Zeus found a hollowed out hole in the side of a mountain, high from the ground. It was very large, and we made a home out of it easily, with the entirety of the back section being decorated with a fire area/homemade kitchen, an area to hold all my clothes and a private area for the bathroom. At night, Zeus would climb into the hole and lift me up with his tail, or I would have the alternate hidden ladder. I would often fall asleep cuddled up with his warm tail, never afraid that he would hurt me. Zeus had never attempted to hurt me, he only protected me many a time from large, strong dinosaurs.
Beside our cave lay a constant stream of freshwater. On the opposite side was a group of fruit trees I had planted from seeds and lay behind logs in my best efforts to protect them. This led to me creating a similar area about 70 metres away for herbivores who would come to feed during good fruit seasons. The herbivores were friendly and in no way threatening, especially when they were aware of Zeus' presence. The dinosaurs who lived around our home were friendly and always welcomed by Zeus and I, but the carnivores remained well away. They knew what would happen if they threatened our home, and often saw the result of this when Zeus traveled to feed. Zeus did not enjoy killing for a T-Rex, he resorted to attacking only when necessary for food, and mostly ate smaller dinosaurs and animals. He was the king around our area of Isla Nubular, and all other dinosaurs knew it.
Our only downside of our Utopia were the Velociraptors and the T-Rex's who remained in other parts of the Island. They would hear Zeus' roar and arrive to challenge. Zeus would win, only for more predators to come to fight. Zeus chose not to be aggressive unless I gave him permission to attack, but he wouldn't shy from an honest challenge.
One stormy night in particular, I had just bathed, gotten changed, eaten some fresh, ripe fruit and drank water, and was pottering around aimlessly in my fruit garden, patting one of the herbivores, when Zeus alerted me that a boat had docked somewhere near the beach. I walked carefully up his strong tail, up his back and onto his head to get a better view.
"What do you reckon Bud, worth an investigation?" I whispered. He roared softly with approval. "Alright big boy, off we go" I nodded, holding on with a vine I had attached up his neck. He slowly began his decent through the trees, his thundering footsteps striking fear into the hearts of those who intruded on Isla Nubular.
