As the boat that resided my escape traveled away, I realised how truly in trouble I was. I had no way to flag them down, and not enough supplies to even get through another week. For hours, I trembled on the beach as a small 11 year old child, hoping that somebody, anybody, would figure out that their little stowaway was missing in action.

I rose to my feet and stumbled to the beach, heading into the forest, weary of the dangers that threatened me. The slightest noise and I was up a tree, sobbing softly and shaking, my hands threatening to let go unwillingly. That night, the first night of a long while, I had begun to try to build a stable house concealed within a tree rich in strength and health, with large, thick branches that made it easy to travel. After finding a large tarp forgotten by the hastily left personnel and tying it as a a cover from the rain, I began my first and most certainly not last sleepless night in Isla Nublar.

With pouring rain and a wild storm beginning to brew, I climbed back to the ground to explore left luggage for clothes and food, in which I found plenty of clothing but not as much food as I had hoped. I grasped the pistol I had found shakily and strayed not far from my new home in search for fruit. While on my travels, I heard panicked cries of an animal. Overcome with pity for whatever animal it was, I quietly went to investigate the noise. I was horrified to be greeted by the site of a dead T-Rex, covered with blood, dying on the floor. Although terrified, I approached closer to discover a baby T-Rex lying just near their Mother's head.  As I approached, the baby slowly raised their head. No sign of aggression, movement or even the inclination of an attack. Just exhaustion and malnourishment. If the babies Mother was dead, this baby would have no one to rely on and pass away too. With every ounce of courage I had, I helped the baby T-Rex up and helped it heavily to walk back to my new found home, even managing to find a dead rabbit on the way. When I returned back, I created a comfy area for the Dino to lay and fed it the dead rabbit while eating a small amount of the rations I also had. The Dino, who I discreetly determined as a male, was thankful for my token of peace. This dinosaur, who I allocated the name Zeus, was now to remain with me.
