Next day came and Brooke’s eyes are still puffy because of crying. People kept on staring at her. It’s as if it’s their first time to see a person who looks like that. Brooke’s friends kept on asking what’s wrong with her but she wouldn’t answer. Leslie didn’t bother explaining as well. They came up with a plan and they wanted to keep it to themselves first.

Brooke sat down on her chair and Leslie sat beside her. The two of them kept their mouths shut. They didn’t care if their friends would get mad at them for not spilling any information that they know. All that matters to them is their safety. Especially Brooke’s safety.

After a couple of minutes, Luke arrived at the room just like what they expected. He sat down on the chair next to Brooke and so Brooke is in between Luke and Leslie. Tension can be felt between the two parties even if no one is speaking. Brooke thought that the silence could last forever but heck, she was wrong.

“Brooke, could we talk?”

“What do you want huh?” Brooke said while raising one of her eyebrows.

“Please.”

“Fine. But Leslie should go with us.” Luke was kind of shocked with what Brooke said.

“But-”

“No more buts.” Brooke interrupted.

“Fine.” Luke said and the three of them left the room.

They went to a café inside their school where only a few people go. They wanted to have some privacy. Yes, it’s just the three of them in that place but Luke is not comfortable with Leslie around.

“Brooke, could your friend move farther for a while? I want us to talk privately. Just you and me.” Brooke was kind of hesitant at first. She looked at Leslie and Leslie smiled and stood up. She moved 4 tables away from Luke and Brooke.

“Thank you for that.” Luke said.

“No need for that. Now what do you want to say?”

“Look. I’m sorry for bothering you. I didn’t mean to. But I want to show you that I’m really sorry for what happened before. Believe me. I loved you and I love you still.” Brooke laughed sarcastically. Luke frowned and he was clueless.

“Why are you laughing?”

“You know what? Suddenly I realized something.”

“What?”

“That loving you was the worst thing that I did. I was blinded by that stupid love. I even believed that we could last forever but what? All of those were pure lies. All that you wanted was to get me physically.”

“Brooke, it’s not what you think it is. I really loved you. I know I shouldn’t have done that to you. I know that caused you a lot of pain. But please, couldn’t you give me another chance?”

“Chance? What’s the chance for huh? To fvck me once again?” Luke was shocked with what he heard. He realized that Brooke really did chance after what happened.

“No Brooke. I want to have another chance so that I could show you that I’m really here to stay. That I’m here to love you. I won’t hurt you again I swear!”

“I’m sorry Luke but this time, there are no second chances.” Brooke stood up and went near Leslie. They talked for a while then they left the café.

Meanwhile, Luke got furious about Brooke rejecting him. He wants to have Brooke back so bad. So he thought of a way on how to do that.

“Hey. It’s me Luke.”

“What’s up dude?”

“I want you to do something.”

“Ooh. Is it for a girl again?”

“Yes and I have to get her ASAP.”

“Okay. Okay. Just send me the details aryt?”

“Sure. Thanks dude!”

“Yeah. Yeah. Whatever.” Then Luke hanged up.

What would Luke do?

Nobody knows. But for sure, it’s about Brooke.
