There was a girl. This girl was born into a family of rags and thievery, but the girl did not wish to be like her family. She saw their deeds to be wrong and unkindly. Tis she wasn't allowed to say such towards her family, or else she'd be punished. Although, her family refused to give her up to an orphanage, so they put lies into her mind. Hoping to make her give in and believe they were not thieves. A last, the girl never did such, she only said, that she didn't think them to be thieves anymore. In fear of being punished harshly. One day in an act of stealing her family returned home with a charming boy, or so he seemed. Little did the girl know this boy was a horrible warlock in disguise using dark magic. He was just like her family, a thief. One day the warlock casted a spell over the poor girl, to never see through his disguise. No matter how wrong he did to her, she was never able to leave control of his spell. Then one day the spell weakened and the girl fled her village in hopes to find herself again. The girl journeyed to the kingdom her beloved sister had told her of. She finally found her sister, who had also fled their village to become a knight in order to protect her dear younger sister. All though the girl had left her village and the warlock disguised as a boy, she still wrote to him. The girls sister had wanted to help her find herself. So, she sent the girl to the royal palace to find her interest. Not long after she was sent, the girl made friends with the palaces royal baker. They became the best of friends and each night would explore the castle together. One night while exploring the girls met the king and queens, jester. They all would join eachother some days in the palace gardens and have tea. The girl finally felt at peace. Until, her villages mail keeper had came with rumors of the warlock being seen with a mistress. This hadn't been the first rumor of this either. The girl had it, and told the village mail keeper to inform the village of his crimes and have him thrown in the dungeon. The girl never heard from the warlock again, she was finally free of his spell as well! She was finally able to find her true interest in the palace as well, that being the royal book keeper. Her job continued on as well as her friendship between the baker and jester. The girl slowly develops feelings for the jester though. Little does she know that the jester has already confessed to her friend the baker. She only pushed this information aside and asked to be with the jester. He accepted, but only because the girl flattered the jester. Till one day the girl finds the jester and royal maid with eachother. She then relinquishes being with the jester, and no longer speaks to him. The girl had been ripped of her heart far to much to trust another with it. So, she only focused on her job as the royal book keeper and grew to love the palace even more. One day while the baker and girl were having tea, the baker spoke of befriending the king and queens son, the royal prince. The girl was not that interested though. Since he was a prince, and would never speak to her. Then a few weeks after the baker speaks of no longer enjoying the princes company. The girl still had no interest in the matter. Till one day while the girl was tidying the palaces library, she is greeted with the princes presence. Out of respect she speaks to him. This continued on for days, till the girl realized she had taken interest in the prince and his company. Eventually the two begin to fall for eachother. This was forbidden, since the girl was not of royalty, she could be thrown in prison if found out to love the prince. One day while in the library at night she makes a wish, to be seen as royalty for one night a week. Her wish is granted. The prince still knows it's her. She just believed he prefer her in a gown over rags. One night while enjoying eachothers company the prince looks into the girls eyes and smiles, as the sun rises over the horizon. Her gown fades and the prince confess his fondness for the girl. And ask for her hand in marriage. She knows this isn't work of the magic and says yes. The kingdom accepts her as the princes, princess. They then lived happily ever after known throughout history as the girl of heart and prince charming.
