Being With Him
The door shut behind her as the Doctor waltzed up to the console. "Do you still know how to fly it?" Willow quipped, chuckling a little.
"Of course, I do!" He argued.
She flung her hands out front, wanting evidence. "Then prove it!"
"Alright," He flicked a lever, pulling it down. "Here we go!"
The Doctor smacked his hand on a button, shaking the whole TARDIS as they started to lift off. Willow managed to hold on to the railing, managing to get herself to the main part of the TARDIS. She could feel the Time Vortex outside as they flew through it.
"I've missed this." She muttered.
The Doctor smirked at her. "So have I."
Eventually, he pulled down another lever, causing the TARDIS to stop. Willow heard the wheezing noise from outside, knowing that they landed. "What's out there?"
"Why don't you open those doors and find out?" He grinned, waiting for her to see where the Doctor took her.
She jumped up in excitement, running towards the doors. Once there, she took a deep breath in, pulling the doors open. Upon gazing outside, Willow saw puffs of pink and purple gaseous clouds rolling around. The stars surrounded the place, letting in shimmering light. "The Andromeda Correlation." She murmured in disbelief.
Willow felt her hairs tingle as the Doctor came closer to her. "You remember?"
"How could I not?" She commented, stepping out. "It was the first place you took me."
"Yeah," He popped out his sonic screwdriver, pointing it towards the console. "Remember this too?"
He pressed the sonic screwdriver, allowing a button to be pressed on the console without the Doctor touching it. Suddenly, Willow was lifted into the air, slowly. She giggled. "Yep, definitely remember this."
"Mind if I join you?" He queried.
"Sure. If you know how to get down."
"I always know." He said, placing his foot down before finally shooting up in the air. "Do you?"
As she opened her mouth, she discovered a revelation. "Actually, I don't."
He chuckled, taking her hand. However, Willow pulled him into a hug instead. He hesitantly grabbed her waist as they started to spin around the area. They smiled at each other whilst staring into their eyes. The Doctor noticed a little blush appearing on her face. That only made him smile more.
As soon as she felt the redness of her cheeks, Willow immediately shot her head down, tittering under her breath. Even though he looked completely different, he was always the same Doctor. Once she looked up again, she noticed the Doctor was still smiling. "What?" She asked.
"Nothing." He replied.
Willow raised her eyebrows. "Nothing?"
He nodded, still gazing at her lovingly, wishing he could tell her how he felt about her. Although he knew the consequences it would have. His life was dangerous and if he got her killed, he would be devastated. For a few moments, they were left floating in the cloudy space, until Willow eventually spoke up. "Anyway, perhaps we should be getting back."
"Oh," He blinked out of his train of thought. "Yeah, that's true."
"Rose will probably be wondering where we are." She added, reaching out towards the TARDIS and pulling herself back inside.
The Doctor sighed, wanting to be with her for longer. Nevertheless, he knew Willow would have preferred to be with her family at this time. He yanked himself back inside, softly landing on the ground. The doors closed behind him as he raced back to the console. He prepared the TARDIS for the journey back to the Powell Estate, still slyly staring at Willow.
Once hearing the wheezing noise again, the pair knew they landed. He saw Willow starting to head out. "Willow?"
She stopped, turning back at him. "Yeah?"
For a moment, he panicked on what to say next. "Err... hmm..."
"What is it?" She questioned, seeming a little concerned.
"Well," He started, looking down at his clothing and then back at her, subsequently thinking of an excuse. "Would you like to help me pick out an outfit?"
She chuckled, brushing her fingers through her hair and placing a strand behind her ear. "Yeah, I did think that people might not be intimidated by a guy in striped pyjamas and a dressing gown filled with fruit."

The Doctor and Willow looked through the TARDIS wardrobe which seemed more like a shop than a place to put your clothes. "Why do you have so many clothes?"
"Why not?" He argued, finding a Venician period costume.
When I woke up today and the world seemed a restless place, it could have been that way for me.
"What about this?" He queried, wanting her opinion.
"Seriously?" She cringed at the outfit. "Do you really want to look as flamboyant and outgoing as Casanova or Prince?"
The Doctor shrugged, replying to her. "You should have seen me in the old days. I was as flamboyant as you could get!"
"I can tell." She stated, eyeing several coloured outfits he could have worn in the past. "You certainly liked question marks, didn't you?"
"They added to the mystery!"
Then I wandered around and I thought of your face that Christmas looking back at me.
By the time they reached the third floor of clothing, the Doctor was wearing a dark red scarf around his neck. Willow was unsure why but did not question his actions. Though she enjoyed his company.
While shuffling through some of the hangers, she stumbled across a brown pinstripe suit. She observed the outfit before looking back at the Doctor. "What about this?"
He rotated his head, glaring at the outfit choice. He nodded, impressed with the sense of style she had. His eyes then landed on another item of clothing. The Doctor bent down, picking out a long brown jacket that went down to his feet. They both smiled gleefully at each other, knowing that they were perfect for him. "Go try it on then!" She pushed him away, allowing him to change.
I wish today was just like every other day. Cause today has been the best day.
After a bit, the Doctor tardily entered the room wearing the suit and the jacket. It fitted him perfectly. "What do you think?" He asked, examining himself in a mirror.
"Fitting for saving the universe." She regarded, as he checked himself over in the mirror. Willow rolled her eyes. "If you could stop looking at yourself for a moment, I think that we have a Christmas dinner to go to."
Sharply, he nodded, beginning to leave. "Righto!" Both Willow and the Doctor descended the wardrobe staircase, heading for the Tylers' flat.
Everything I ever dreamed. Then I started to walk, pretty soon I will run. And I'll be running back to you. Because I followed my star, and that's what you are. I've had a merry time with you.
The Doctor swung the front door open, surprising Rose. The pair strolled in, both with a grin perched upon their faces. She returned a smile, knowing that Willow and the Doctor had settled their differences and joined them for a celebration.
I wish today was just like every other day.
Soon enough, they were all sitting at the dining table, yanking their crackers apart in glee and cheer. "Oh, that's yours." The Doctor mentioned to Willow, handing it back to her. He wore a red Christmas hat on his head that he had been given. It wasn't bad.
She took out her hat, unfolding it. It was blue, which reminded her of the TARDIS. Beside her, Rose had joked about her own hat. "It's pink! Mum, it should be yours." They all laughed as Willow crowned herself while the Doctor watched her in happiness. She glanced back with a small grin.
"Look, it's Harriet Jones." Rose said, pointing towards the TV. They all spun around, wondering why she was on TV.
The Doctor stood up, taking a pair of glasses out from one of his pockets. He watched as she was being interviewed based on what had happened throughout the day. "Prime Minister, is it true you are no longer fit to be in position?" A man on the television spoke.
"No. Now, can we talk about other things?" She snapped.
However, the questions continued, knowingly causing pressure on her. "Is it true you're unfit for office?"
"Look, there is nothing wrong with my health. I don't know where these stories are coming from. And a vote of no confidence is completely unjustified." She explained, but it did not help her.
"Are you going to resign?" Another catechised as the house phone began to ring. Willow spotted her aunt answering as she walked over to the Doctor.
She sighed, comprehending that the Doctor had ruined her career. "Are you ever going to forgive her?"
He didn't reply, still glaring at the TV. Eventually, Jackie broke the silence, making an announcement. "It's Bev. She says go and look outside."
"Why?" Rose asked.
"I don't know, just go outside and look. Come on, shift!" She commanded, grabbing her coat.

Once they were outside, they saw that the ground was covered in flakes of pure white snow that fell from the sky and were slowly building up. Willow studied the dark sky, inspecting the streaks of light that cris-crossed the sky.
"Oh, it's beautiful. What are they, meteors?" She questioned the Doctor.
Nevertheless, he solemnly stated the truth. "It's the spaceship breaking up in the atmosphere. This isn't snow, it's ash."
Rose crept up beside them, commenting. "Okay, not so beautiful."
"This is a brand new planet Earth. No denying the existence of aliens now. Everyone saw it. Everything's new."
"And what about you? What are you going to do next?" Rose queried, wanting to know.
"Well, back to the Tardis. Same old life." He revealed, showing that he never stays anywhere.
"On your own?" Willow wondered for both her and Rose, apprehending that they had a place on his TARDIS Team.
"Why, don't you want to come?"
She gasped, elbowing him. "Of course, I do, idiot. I understand now that the same Doctor I knew is still in there. Just with a different face."
"Also, I thought, because you changed you might not want me anymore." Rose added, explaining her reasoning.
"Oh, I'd love you both to come,"
"You're never going to stay, are you?" Mickey interrupted, upset about Rose's decision.
She sighed. "There's just so much out there. So much to see. I've got to."
"Well, I reckon you're mad, the three of you. It's like you go looking for trouble." Jackie told them.
The Doctor excitedly approached her. "Trouble's just the bits in-between. It's all waiting out there, Jackie, and it's brand new to me. All those planets, and creatures and horizons. I haven't seen them yet! Not with these eyes." He circled back around, ending up on Willow's left. "And it is going to be fantastic."
She beamed, extremely glad that he said that word. He edged his right hand over to hers as Willow nervously took it. "That hand of yours still gives me the creeps."
"So, where're we going to go first?" Rose questioned, looking up at the stars.
He pointed a finger up, shifting it around. "Er, that way. No, hold on. That way."
"That way." The girl in the middle confirmed, excited for the journey ahead.
This was probably one of the best Christmases Willow Hughes ever had. Too bad it was to be the last she would ever have with her family.
The Doomsday Clock has started to tick. This is where everything changes.
