Iva's POV :

I turned around and saw Adreano in front of me. I got nervous. He asked me something and I babbled. I was getting uncomfortable. He was also staring at me when I was on ramp. Does he know that I was the model on ramp? Oh my! But he said that he didn't saw me in the guests section. Was he telling the truth or was testing me? I was thinking of ways to excuse myself from him before he asks me any further questions.

"Stop it now!!!" I heard him shouting at me. I was so uneasy I stood behind a car and didn't spoke a word. He then moved his car away from the lot.

What the hell he thinks of himself??? How dare he shout at me like that? This man doesn't knows about manners. I hate him so much! He's so arrogant!

I took deep breaths and called Ana. She said she'll come in five minutes. My punctual friend arrived exactly after 20 minutes. We sat in the car.

"Ana where are we going?" I asked.

"My place."

"What about the party?"

"My place." She replied sternly

"Okay. Congratulations!! I am very happy for you!"

"It's all because of you Iva. Thanks for supporting me." Her voice became a bit soft.

"Hey, don't give me all the credits, keep a handful for you too." I winked.

"Yeah. Thanks" she looked sad.

"Is everything okay Ana?"

"Hmm..I guess so."

"What happened?"

"Everyone was there. You walked the ramp. I passed the exam. But, someone was missing."

"Who someone?" I asked.

She turned her face towards me and in a low tone said, "James."

"Oh, James, yeah you right. Omg! He was not in the show. I almost forgot about him."

"He promised me, he'll be there. I won't talk to him no matter what happens. He changed."

"Ana, don't come into any conclusions, there may be some reason behind his absence."

"What reason Iva? It was a big day for me you know that and what he did? He made a mistake..oh wait..Mistake is a very small word. He made a massive grosssss CRIME!!!" Her eyes became fiery red.

"Okay, calm down." I didn't know what else to say. She was in rage.

Ana's phone ranged. It was James.

"Ana, pick up the call."

"I don't speak to jerks." Her voice trembled. Any moment she was going to burst out in tears.

"Calm down. Take a deep breath and talk to him."

"I am cool." She batted her eyelashes and smiled. A dangerous smile.

James called her five times in a row. She didn't picked up the call, so he called me. I immediately put the call on speaker.

"Hey Iva, is Ana with you."

"Yeah..she's damn angry with you James."

"Clown!! His name is clown..!!!" Ana shouted.

James laughed. "Yes...I am a jerk..my babe, my love, I am so sorry. You know I had to go with dad in a meeting."

"Blah blah blah."

"I love you my love. My sweetheart."

"Iva switch off your phone right now...!!!"

"Who are you? Hey wait, stand there or I'll shoot you!" James shouted.

Ana and I looked at each other in fear. Ana stopped the car and snatched the phone from my hands. "James you there?? What's happening???"

"I said stand there or I'll shoot you." We heard James from the other side of the call.

"Ana, we have to rush to his place. I'll call the police. Drive the car."

Ana started crying. She drove fast, really fast.

"Hello..Sir, I am Iva Jones. My friend James is in danger. Someone has bumped into his home. the address."

"Iva tell me he's going to be fine." Tears were flooding down her cheeks.

"Ana, he'll be fine. Nothing will happen to him." She increased the speed.

"Whoever that man is, I am going to kill him if James get even a scratch from him. He's so dead." She was in rage and frightened too. I didn't knew what to say. We reached near James house.

"Try calling him."

"It's switched off Ana..!"

"Oh Lord!" She cried even harder.

It was 12 p.m. The bungalow besides James's were dark. The lights were off. Everyone was sleeping.

"Why aren't the cops here? They should be here. There's no one!!!" Ana shouted.

"Shhhh...Ana don't shout..see the cops will be here in any moment, you wait here...calm.."

"How can I calm down Iva? You know what, you wait here for the cops, I am going in."

"Ana wait. Listen to me!!!" I ran after her.

"Fuck!! The door is locked. Omg what I am going to do?? James open the door!!! James!!!!" She kept shouting and banging the door. The strings of pearls of her bracelet broke and all the pearls fell down.

"Stop it Ana!!!" I grabbed her hands. "Remember you said me once James have given you the keys of his house."

"Keys???" She sat down. "What are you talking about?" Her voice was low and weak.

"Keys. You said you have extra keys."

"Yeah keys!! Iva! I have the keys!" She took out her bag and turned it upside down. All the stuffs came out scattered on the floor. "Hey, here's the key." Ana said and immediately stood up. She inserted the key, turned it around and opened the door. It wdar

"James..you there?" She moved her steps. I was behind her. "Baby?" Her voice changed. She was crying.

"Iva call the cops now!!!" She shouted. "My James is in danger dammit!!!"

"Anaaaaaaaa...!!!!!" We heard James shouting in pain.

"James......!!!" Ana ran in the dark and suddenly the lights were on. The room was filled with lights.

"Surprise...!!!!!" We heard in a chorus. "Happy Birthday to you Ana..!!!!" Everyone wished.

Ana's face was stoned. Her jaw was open. Tears rolling down her cheeks. Messed hair. She turned her eyes around and stopped at me.

"Happy Birthday Ana." I hugged her. I am sorry.

"Where's James?" she asked.

I smiled, "Turn around."

She turned. James was few steps away. Smiling. He opened his arm wide. Ana ran and hugged him tightly. She started crying again. Sniffing she said, "Oh I was so worried. Thank God! You scared the hell out of me! I love you." He hugged her more tightly and raised her above the ground. She kissed him on his face on his nose, all over his face again and again and finally kissed on his lips.

"Ooooooo...." everyone teased.

Tear rolled out of my eyes. They are so perfect together.

As they got separated from the hug then slapped him but lightly. "I was so damn scared James!!!"

James made a puppy face. "I am sorry babe, I had to do this."

"I love you.." She said and hugged him again.

"I love you too babe." He kissed on her forehead. Everyone clapped.

"Okay now go get ready fast." James pushed her to the room and gestured me to go in with her. "The party is in the backyard."

James left. Ana locked the door.
There was a beautiful gown lying on the bed and a set of diamond jewelry including necklace, earrings and a bracelet.

"It's so beautiful, isn't it Iva?" Her eyes were twinkling like the diamonds.

"Yes it is." I smiled. "Now get ready fast!"

She changed and came out. "You are looking gorgeous Ana."

"Thank you Iva. I am so happy. I just can't believe all that happened moments ago was a prank."

I laughed. "Yeah! You should have seen your face at that time."

"I bet I was looking horrible." She laughed too but paused. "Hey Iva, what about the cops? They will be here any moment."

"I didn't called the cops." I grinned.

"What?? So you were also a part of it? Ivee?? Cheater!!!"

"Sorry about that but it was all James' plan". I lifted my hands in defence. "We just wanted to make you happy."

"Well, I am happy now but if this prank had continued more longer, I would have peed in my pants ." We both laughed.

James knocked the door. "Babe you ready?"

"Wait for an hour. I am not ready yet." Ana winked at me.

"I can wait for decades babe, but the guest will fly away if you don't come out soon."

"What have you eaten today? A jar of cheese?"

"Well I don't know about the cheese but Ma'am I would like to have desert tonight." His voice changed when he said desert.

I raised an eyebrow and Ana smiled sheepishly. Her face was flushed.

"Hello I am also here love birds!"

"Ivaaa! Please bring Ana out fast."

"Okay!"

"He loves you like crazy." I said.

"Even I." She said shyly. "I love him soo soo much!"

"More than these diamonds?" I teased.

"Iva! Of course for me Diamonds are more important!!! Diamonds first! James second!"

We came out. The party was in the backyard. The trees were lit with small lights. Music was high. People were cheering their booze. James was struck by Ana's appearance. No doubt she was looking so adorable. I heard the Whoa! She's hot! from the male crowd. Cake was brought by the two servants. It looked so yummy.

"You like it babe?" Asked James placing his hands on her waist.

"I loved it. Thank you so much!!" Ana kissed him.

"Okay, cut the cake now!!! Do the cuddling after, you got a whole night for this!" One of Ana's friend teased.

Ana blew the candle and sliced the cake. I and James were standing on either side of her. She first made me eat the cake and then James.

The party started. Ana was surrounded by her friends, some wishing her, some giving her gifts. She seemed very happy. She passed the exam. Got the chance of becoming a famous designer. Everything is so perfect about her. I hope this happiness lasts forever in her life.

The party was full of guests. Some flirting, some cheering their drinks. Ana and James got busy and I was kind of feeling alone.

After a while I came back to the house. I opened the door of the bathroom but I immediately closed it as there were almost naked couples on their high. I couldn't control my bladder anymore so I ran upstairs.

After coming out of the bathroom I was ready to go to the party downstairs but something made me stop while passing the lobby. It was a dimmed room with a bed. There were many fancy things but I could only see the bed. I yawned two times and this was a sign of my body telling me to take just a seven minute nap.

I immediately got in bed and closed my eyes in peace. Just seven minutes. It won't make any difference.

I didn't knew when I slept but I was woken up by a tickling. I felt someone's finger tickling my neck. I first thought that I am dreaming, I opened my eyes and realized that it was not a dream. For a moment I was freezed. Is this him again? I clutched the blankets. I felt warm lips and then a tongue sliding on my neck. I immediately sat up. I was shocked watching Max laid on the bed.

"What the hell are you doing Max?" I shouted.

"Just wanna have fun." He winked.

"I am going." I stood up and started to leave but he blocked my way.

"Let's have sex sweetheart." He kissed on my lips.

I pushed him away but he got hold of me and threw me on the bed. He leaned on me and held my hands tightly over my head.

"Max you are drunk. You are doing a big mistake. Let me go." I pleaded but he didn't listened.

He kissed my lips and then moved towards my neck.

"Help!! Someone please help!" I screamed as much as I can. I was regretting every milli seconds. I shouldn't have slept on this bed. I should have sticked to Ana.

"No one's going to hear you. You listening the music? Do you think they are coming up to help you?"

My heart dropped. He was right. I hated what he said was absolutely right. The music was pumping loud and everyone was enjoying. How are they going to listen me? My cheeks got warm when the hot tears fell down from my eyes.

I struggled to get rid of him but I couldn't. He was very strong and his weight didn't let me move my legs either. He started moving his lips and tongue down from my neck. I was getting out of breath. He was struggling opening the buttons of my shirt. He was so drunk his hands were trembling but still he was strong to hold me tight. Or maybe I was too weak to get rid of him.

"Damn! These buttons!" He growled.

"Please Max. Leave me. Let me go please." I cried.

"Shut up you bitch!" He shouted, then placed both his hands on my shirt and tore them apart by all his might. The buttons got loose and my skin was exposed. I was terrified.

"No!!! Help me someone please!" I screamed.
