Three.

For all you who are wondering-
CFO- Chief Financial Officer/Vice-President of a company

And credits to Beautifully_Chaotic_ for the awesome cover ❤️ I just love this girl so much!
--------------
The first day of office was pretty much boring.
Boring is a term Alia would never probably use, but to put it the right way, nothing really happened.

People just showed her around and kind of showed her what exactly her job is.

She felt very annoyed, because she wasn't new to this job, this position or even this company. She worked in a higher branch, in fact.

A lot of people also examined her from top to bottom. They judged her clothing, her way of talking, the fluent British accent of hers, her way of walking with those high heels, and basically every move she made was being examined and stared at.

She felt miserable about that. Just because she's from another country and she's modern and independent, it doesn't mean people start judging her like that.

She went back home with a heavy head and a string of negative thoughts hung in her mind.

She sighed heavily as she placed her handbag on the couch. She played some music on her iPod and freshened up. She removed all her makeup and changed into some home clothes, now she was feeling lighter and much herself.

She relaxed with a cold beer and some of her favorite tv shows.
Later in the evening, she felt hungry and walked to the little kitchen to make herself something. She scanned through and only found a basket of fresh vegetables and some junk like instant noodles and packets of chips.

She had made a mental note to herself.

"Go grocery shopping, organize kitchen and call mom for recipes."

Living alone was hard.

Your all alone, doing everything on your own, balancing things, organizing stuff, cleaning your home, managing work, you have to do everything by yourself.

Although Alia was good at pretty much everything, she still needed help.

So she decided to keep a part time maid to help her with chores.

Another mental note made to herself!

"Find a maid."

She went to her little desk and took out the new pack of "Post-it's" from the small drawer on the right.

She wrote on them and stuck them carefully on the wall in front of her desk.

She finally prepared dinner for herself, and she settled with just a bowl of Maggi.

She lit up the study lamp at her nightstand and crawled up to her bed with her laptop. She didn't really have any work assigned yet, but she decided to start early. She started preparing for presentations and meetings already.
She asked a colleague to e-mail her the details of important projects and started working on stuff like that.

When she was finally tired.
(Which she rarely does)

She went to bed peacefully and said goodbye to the world.

-------------

The next morning, she woke up with the attitude she has everyday.

To do something productive. To start something new.

She had woken up extra early so she decided to start her productive day by going to the gym.

Since she was working in a high position, the company had given her a nice apartment at an apt location. The condominium was luxurious with big flats, a gym, a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts and even a spa! It was just like a hotel.

She changed into a sports bra and a pair of yoga pants. She grabbed a water bottle and a face towel too. She combed her hair and tied it in to a high ponytail. And finally she wore her most priced possession, her Adidas Superstar.
She had this craze of collecting different shoes, of every brand and color.
She stared at her feet which fitted in perfectly into those kicks.

She headed downstairs and wandered around to take a close look at the place and of course find the gym.

She finally found it nearby the poolside. It looked pretty big.
As she entered, she saw someone familiar.
She, being Alia, wouldn't ever forget any face she has met.

She immediately recognized him.

What was his name?
Something with S....

Wait! It's Sidharth!
The cocky CFO!

She was confused wether she should say hi or just pretend that she never saw him. But he was such a sweet guy and he was like a magnet to her.

Her feet felt as if they were in air as she pushed the heavy glass door.

He immediately glanced at her, as if that face was what he wanted to see all this time.

This couldn't be possible! After all, they have had only one meeting, and that was less than a minute!

She passed out a small smile to him, and he returned it.

Well we can say, Alia was quite sweet outside the work zone.

She walked to the little desk in the corner of the room and signed in on the register list.

"Good morning ma'am! Enjoy your work out." The fit and tall man greeted.
"Thank you."

She went to one of the machines and started her work out.
She took it slow at first and began to pace up.

A man approached her and observed her closely with a sheepish smile on his face.

She felt weird and slowed down a bit.

"Excuse me ma'am?" He began.
"Yeah?" She looked confused.

And while all this was happening, Sid listened to their conversation attentively.

"Ma'am if you don't mind, I can train you. I'm actually a trainer here." He suggested.
"Thank you but I don't really need one. I'm fine on my own." She politely replied.
"Well, okay then." He sounded disappointed.

He just stood there observing every move.

She moved to a different machine and he still followed her there.

She felt creeped out and disgusted.
She decided to continue what she was doing and ignore him.
She paced up again and worked harder.

"Uh uh ma'am, not like that. Your doing it wrong, let me help you. Looks like you need me." He stopped her.
"Excuse me?? What do you mean?" She responded in a warning tone.
"I meant that maybe you really need a trainer." He corrected.

"Do I look like I need one?" She pointed to herself.
"But if you do the exercise wrong, it might harm your body ma'am." He said in that disgusting tone.

"Oh is it? Okay then, show me what I'm doing wrong." She folded her arms and stood up proudly.

"Sit down on the machine and I'll show you." His grin returned.
She already knew what was coming.

She sat down and as he demonstrated the "proper" way of using the machine, his hands traveled onto her body.
She immediately got up and twisted his arm harshly.

She was a strong woman and could fight for herself.

He winced in pain as she bit his other arm which was trying to defend him.
She kicked his balls and pushed him down on the floor.

She didn't realize when a strong pair of arms pulled her back, but in a gentle way.
"Easy, easy tiger!"

The voice sounded familiar. Very familiar.

She turned back to face him and it was that hot gem again. She gulped as she wiped the sweat dripping on her face.

"Stay." He said calmly.

He went over and gave a few more punches to that motherfucker until his fists were wounded.

"Stop! Please!" She yanked him back.

The authority and a few guards had come in and they calmly explained what had happened.

After the issue was solved, they went back to their homes and got ready for their everyday duty; work work work.

-----------
He paced out of his apartment as he realized he was late, again!

He was putting his watch on when he bumped into a petite figure.

"Hey! Alia right?" He introduced once more. This time more formally.
"Yeah. I'm sorry for what you had to go through a while ago, I hope your knuckle is alright now." She looked down in embarrassment, revising the incident in her mind.

"Oh it's fine, really it's okay." He wasn't sure what he replied to. His fist or the gym incident.

"Umm... Can I see it, if you don't mind?" She was really guilty.
"See what?" He pretended he didn't understand what she asked for.
"Your hand." She pointed.
"Ohh yeah..." He hesitantly brought it forward and showed it to her.
"Oh shit, this is bad." She exclaimed.

"Didn't you apply any ointment? Oh gosh!" She dragged him to her place and quickly got the first aid from a drawer.

She applied some betadine on to the wound and then secured it with a band-aid.

"Thanks, but you really didn't have to do this. It would've healed on its own."

"What do you mean heal on its own? Rubbish." She scolded.

"We should get going, we're quite late." He stood up from his seat.

This was the first time ever in history that Alia was late, and it was probably the millionth time Sid was late.

They hurried and finally left for office.
