I stand when dawn starts to break and i set the journal aside, which contains the tale i have been told and knowledge of the people here. I close it and use my magic to lock it so only those i allow or another balance keeper can open it. I walk out to the Helipad to see Spidey, the one they call Agent Venom, Scarlet spider and Kid Aracnid. Well a team of spiders will be interesting, i thought when iron spider flew down and spoke" Fury already briefed us and told us that you would lead us to your brother and bring him back here." I nod and i spread my wings with a grimace and Amadeus spoke up" on my back since your wings aren't fully healed yet" i nod and i let them close and i grab onto the armor's shoulders and a few metalic arms wrap around my back, holding me in place and boosters on his feet and hands activate. I send out a pulse of magic and i feel a faint feedback and i knock his helm to get his attention and i point" that way amadeus and fast, he's weak" he nods" theres no life signs out there though" "your tech can't find him esspecially with how little i can feel him" he sighs" alright" he banks hard in the direction i said and we fly till i hear a distress signal beneath the water and i pull hard on his shoulders and he stops" here?" I nod and say" you're not going to be able to follow me even with underwater gear, his ink is like oil in water making visibilty horrible" he nods and lets me go and i let myself fall into the water and i see it's clear and i see a structure. I click my communicator and i say to iron spider" lock your suit for water travel, he's not directly in water so it's clear and theres a structure down here" i shut it off and the sound of disturbed water sounds next to me and i hear his voice through his speakers" how are you breathing and talking?" I laugh"i'm full of suprises amadeus, i just let you know of them when i wish" i wrap my wings around my legs and my tail spreads out and i move it like a mermaid would her tail and i shoot for the structure and iron spider follows me and i swim next to the hull and i sense that John is in the middle of the place so i start pulling at the hull and i feel the metal give and i feel my eyes heat up as magic flows throught me and javilins pull the plate of metal to bits and the water pulls us in and the base closes the hole i made and i feel my gills close and my wings fold back and i stand and i see a cell in the room with my brother. His midnight black horns drooping, his usual cartoonish smile a mear frown his eyes duller than usual but when he saw me his eyes light up and he lunged for the bars and he staggers back, telling me the bars had electricity through them. " Amadeus set your suit to be able to absorb electricity then hold on tight to the bars, we have to move fast." He nods and grabs the bars and flashes of electricity and the smell of ozone filled the air. John turns into ink and slides out of the bars and he solidifies and hugs me and i hold him tight" alright john, hang on we're underwater so i need to wrap us up to get us to the surface" he nods shakily" alright sis i trust you" i wrap my wings around us and before i finish it i tell amadeus" you'll have to bust us out and up to the surface, i have to protect John from the water and comfort him." Amadeus nods and i close the coccon and i hold john close and i feel my coccon being lifted and within a few minutes i feel concrete beneath my wings and someone taps on my wings and i pull them apart and Fury says" good job in rescuing him, you can pull your wings in now" i giggle and i pull them in with a slight grimace and John notices. I was going to get a talking to later. I smile to John as he shakily stands and holds my hand and i grip it reassuringly. He may be my older bro but i knew that comfort would be the best medicine for him. At least for now to prevent insanity.
