I was having tea with Krystal, the sun was out and I was happy.
Krystal made me feel safe, in all she did, from doting on me too giving me her beautiful smile.
She had baked cakes of different kinds; death by chocolate, dark forest, mouse cake. The list went on. They where cute, all bite sized so I could eat them all without being sick.
To say I was in heaven would be an under exaggeration.
I sighed in content.
"Thank you so much for having me Krystal, I think I really needed this" I say to the woman who couldn't be older than 40.
"Always a pleasure Hun " she replied with her sweet smile.
I kind of wish Krystal was my mom, the woman had only known me for a few weeks and she was already my favorite person in the world.
Granted the only other people I knew where a bit on the douche side so...
"Have my nephews been treating you well?" She asked me and I grimaced.
"They were hostile at the beginning but I think they've warned up to me" I said "I feel bad though"
"Why?" She asks, confused.
"I've been avoiding them, or well I've been avoiding Damien" I tell her, I wasn't going to lie and she was the only girl I could talk to.
Don't judge me.
I need girl talk.
"May I ask why your avoiding Damien?" She asked sipping her tea.
How ironic since I was about to spill mine!
"It's so stupid but I told him something and he didn't believe me and I totally get why" I began, Krystal nodding for me to continue
"And I told him I understood why he didn't believe me which is the silly part because now that the truth is out I feel angry at him and it's not even justified because like I said while it hurt I understood why he didn't believe me" I finish my rant
Krystal thought for a moment before she said "and your sure you're not projecting your feelings toward your brothers for not believing you onto Damien because you don't want to be angry at your family?"
Mmmm. Thinking about it I hadn't even considered being angry at my brothers, after all I had expected that reaction from them.
And right now I am angry, at Damien, at my father, at my mother at my brothers.
And at myself.
I was angry at my father for always being so selfish. Not thinking about anyone else's feeling but his own.
I was angry at my mother for turning her back on me, for blaming me, for hating me.
I was angry at my brothers for not trusting me, for jot believing in me for telling me I'm a liar when I've only ever tried to be honest.
And I was angry at myself, for caring about any of it, angry that all I seemed to do was cry about it, angry that I never had the courage to stand up for myself, angry I never said anything.
I was angry because in all my years of living I never once let anyone push me around, yet I allowed my family to do it for years.
"Maybe your right" I respond as I sip my tea.
The day went by with idle chit chat, and celebrity crushes. And I laughed even if sometimes I had to foryce it to come out.

I stood in front of my mother's house, determination in my heart and a few choice words on my tongue.
Knocking furiously I waited for my mother to open.
My foot furiously tapping on the floor.
When the door opened I was ready to lay it on my mother! Give her a dose of reality
However when the door open there stood Derrick, and the finger I had already had pointed to the door fell.
"Oh hey Mel, what are you doing here?" Derrick asked with a kind smile.
I ignored his question pushing past him while greeting him so not to be rude "Where is my mother?" I ask getting to the point.
"Um she's not here, she should be back in a moment though, she went out to get dinner" Derrick told me and I nodded.
"That's alright, I am the one who barged in here without knowing" I say sheepishly, as I scratch the back of my neck.
Derrick smiled "that's alright, you are always welcome here, it is your home" derrick said and I had to wonder about that.
"Although I am curious, what bring you here at this hour?" He asks.
I was about to answer when the door opened and in came my mother, followed by my brothers.
They looked up to meet my eyes but before they could say anything I stepped in front of them.
One foot in front of the other as I tilted my head up slightly to give the illusion I was looking down upon them.
I point toward my mother and exclaim "we ne- no I need to talk and for once you're going to listen to me!"

I'm half way there! Although I realized something half way through uploading the edited chapters I marked the Chapters in the wrong chapters so some scenes that where in the following chapter now forms part of the previous chapter.
oops!
