Letter #9 Grace
My Dearest Grace,
How are you today? Lovely I assume. Good now let's talk about me. I had a date with him. I know right, me on a date with a real live person? You better believe it. It was amazing! He took me to this little book store along the shoreline. As much as I love Barnes & Noble this was better. It wasn't a big chain store, but it still had so many books! Do remember that scene in Beauty and the Beast where Belle is in the book shop, and the owner gets on that little ladder that rolls on the shelves? Well the store had one of those, needless to say I had to get on it and ended up crashing into the wall. It was worth it. After our fabulous adventures in the book shop we headed to this little cafe. It was small, but cozy. Everyone was really nice and the food was really good. We talked and I thought it might get awkward so I made little cards of things to talk about, but I didn't need them the conversation just kind of flowed. When the sun began to set we went for a walk on the beach. We took off our shoes to feel the sand, and then he started telling me that he had a great time. Then he told me that he really liked me. Everything felt perfect as he leaned in for what I presume was going to be a kiss, but then a little crab pinched his toe. He kind of yelled and fell at the same time. Needless to say I laughed my ass off. I went to help him up, but he just pulled me down with him. The sun had already set, and the moon was out and shining against the water. That's when he kissed me. It felt great, different but great. Grace everything was amazing!!! My first date I just can't believe it. He was kind of mad that the crab ruined what he hoped to be a 'perfect' date, but perfect is over rated. I wish I could tell you all this in person, but it would bring up too many questions. Which isn't that fair since you told me about your first date, but oh well.
Love,
Madeleine
P.S: Which is better Grames or Jace? I ship it;)
