So it's been awhile since I wrote in this book and I decided to hopefully update this more. THis is more of an idea and it didn't really happen in the real story but I thought that I should add some fluff. In this story they are both 17.

Henry was ecstatic for the coming new year. His parents agreed to his request and allowed him to go over to Tris's house. This would be the first year he would be allowed to watch the ball drop. He never even knew there was one because he didn't own a TV and he wasn't allowed at his aunts.

Henry arrived at Tris's house. It looked very gloomy for Tris's house. While he was admiring her house he didn't see her run out with blankets and snacks.

"Ah Henry, You're here. We are actually going somewhere else to watch the ball drop," She motioned to her car and he hopped in.

This wasn't the first time he was in a car but it still amazed him every time. He watched the fields go by and started to see familiar land.

"Hey, isn't this the way..." Henry started to ask, but Tris cut him off.

"Yep, I need to get us away from my mom,"

Henry wanted to ask but they were there already. Tris's secret spot. According to her only him and Airiana knew of this place. Tis tossed some blankets to him and started to climb to the platform.

The platform hung from the top of the branches and allowed them to see for miles in any direction. It was loaded with pillows and mattresses. Tris showed her spot to him a year ago.

He climbed up after her. Tris was already spreading out the blankets and he turned on the lights. The tree lit up with blue lights, green lights, white lights, and many more. They got there just in time to see the sun set.

Henry pulled out is colored pencils to capture the scene. He drew a person standing in front of a million colors blended together. Tris just simply watched the sun go down. She then turned on the TV up there and they watched "A Toast to 2018" (AN: have any of you watched that. That show is my New years tradition.) Henry laughed at all the things he had missed.

After it was done they still had two hours so they talked, drawed, and play games. Those two hours went by in a flash. Soon it was a minute to midnight the moment Henry was waiting for.

"Tris?" she turned to him, "I wanted to tell you something. I think ... you are ... an amazing person and ...... I am glad I met you, but I don't want be friends anymore."

"What are you saying?"

He could here the countdown in the background it was getting closer to midnight.

"Tris will you become my girlfriend?"

Tears came to her eyes as she beamed. The countdown was down to 5. When it got down to one she leaned forward and touch his lips with her own. His face went ablaze with red. She leaned back.

She spoke after a few seconds, "Does that answer your question?"

Henry leaned close to her face so their noses and foreheads touched. He smiled, "Yes" Henry then leaned and brought his lips to hers again.
