I'M SOOOOO SORRRRY FOR NOT UPDATING. I've just been busy trying to read 100 books this summer but that is still no excuse so without further ado chapter 3 of The Girl that Changed Everything.

     I rounded the bend pumping my arms as fast as I could. I was neck to neck with Northridge. They were good but not as good as me. Rylie, Maddy, and Julia cheered from the stands. I pulled ahead and crossed the finish line.

"56 seconds" a referee shouted.

I looked at Tris and Payton. Payton gave me a thumbs up and tris squealed jumping up and down.

I had broken a track record.

My parents met up with us and Payton bid goodbye, smirking as he left. Tris smiled at Molly and Alise. They smiled then started to bomb her with questions.

"How long have you know Henry? Are you friends? How long have you done track? Do you like Henry?"

Tris answered as fast as she could "few months, yes, 2 years, and maybe."

Molly's mouth fell open and Alise mumbled happily, "We talk later."

Tris giggle and ma smiled.

Ma and pa explained how Amish religion works and the horse and buggy but I didn't pay attention. What did she mean by maybe? Does she like me because I am sure I like her.
