Hirdh was marveled by his physique. A perfect torso under a white t-shirt and a blue denim. He was like a Hollywood star. Cream colored skin. Around 182 cms tall. Might be becoz of gym works. She read the emotions of Alric too. Alric was definitely attracted towards her but he didn't know whether she was too.

Alric found her more beautiful than usual. Hirdh was wearing a red top with yellow stripes, with a yellow collar, hanging till her mid thigh, showing all her curves and a yellow legging matching her tops. Hirdh was the first one to come back to conscious, when Dharshi waved her a bye and Sriya smirked making Hirdh roll her eyes. Alric was still checking her out. Hirdh cleared her throat, getting Alric's attention. Hirdh gave one of her cutest smiles to Alric.

Hirdh, " hey hi Alric!" Alric, "Hi Hirdh! You look beautiful today!"

Hirdh, " Haha!! Thank you. U r not bad either. " and she started blushing, though she knew it was just a small compliment. To cover up her blushing, she changed the topic.

Hirdh, " How's your studies? I heard that you are the topper of your year. Nick told us!"

Alric, " Nick has got a big mouth!"

Hirdh, "But that's the fact right?"

Alric, " huh!!! By the way, you are no lesser than me."

Hirdh, " ha yeah!"

Then there was a silence prevailing between them. Hirdh hated the silence. But now, she was enjoying it because of Alric's presence.

Hirdh and her friends got an invitation for Ball dance, at Fanatic club, few miles away from their university on coming Saturday, from one of Jose's friends. Jose really have a wide circle of friends. Hirdh got a personal invitation to invite anyone she want.

Hirdh, " hey are you free this coming Saturday?"

Alric, " mmm I have a football match by the evening. Whats up?"

Hirdh, " oh nothing! Just popped out of blue." She was disappointed. Alric saw her. But he couldn't find the reason behind it and her emotions too. And that gave him a surprise. He was usually good at guessing people's emotions and he was developing the mind reading skills. But he couldn't get even a hint of what Hirdh was thinking or feeling. Then, he thought, he made a big mistake. He thought of asking her for the reason, but he was afraid that, she might get him wrong.

Hirdh felt his feelings and gave herself a thumbs-up for being very good in masking her feelings. She silently laughed within herself. She planned to invite Nick, so that, Alric would get to know it sooner or later.

Time was up to her next classes. She waved him a bye, who was still confused. She knew that, he was afraid of showing any affection to her. So she stepped up near him and gave him a friendly hug. He was dumb-struck for a second and only then he responded. She smiled to herself for being so brave and left him at the corridor. He was really surprised by her brave step forward, followed by a hug. In this mean time, Hirdh has walked a few steps away from him, turned and gave him a smile , waved him and walked away. He was in bliss. He waved back, still astonished from the hug.

And now, he found out that she too liked him but how strong? Still confused, he called upon Nick and planned to ask about coming Saturday evening.

Hirdh guessed his plan and thought of leaving both the idiots in dark, just by asking her friends not to reveal about Saturday evening and they agreed finally. Who will not agree to Hirdh, when she has that lost puppy reaction pasted on her face?
