Hirdh and her friends finished their classes and left to hostel. Dharshi was her roommate while Jose, a hostel mate. Stephen and Sriya were days-scholars. Hirdh and Dharshi were doing their home works and Hirdh was smiling slightly. Dharshi noticed that and asked for the reason. But Hirdh said that she was randomly thinking and said that she was going to bed. They bid their good night and Hirdh fell into a peaceful sleep, once her head had hit her soft pillow. Dharshi was usually a night study person, so she started solving her stat problems, after covering Hirdh with her soft white blanket. Dharshi always marveled about how perfect Hirdh was. Both an inner and outer beauty. Dharshi thought Hirdh as a sleeping beauty but never mentioned this because she knew that Hirdh will never approve of that. She smiled looking at her adorable friend and she treated Hirdh as her sister, rather than a friend. After an hour, when Dharshi was about to start working on a new paper, she heard her bff mumbling something. She went near and tried to get the words mumbled by Hirdh. And she was more than happy after hearing those words. Hirdh was mumbling, "Alric... um... hi..." and Dharshi started grinning and felt, 'at last, Hirdh has fallen into love'. 

Dharshi tried to reason out Hirdh that love is not something that can be controlled by us but it's a kind of mesmerizing feeling, 2 people feel it almost at the same time. But Hirdh was confident on her control over her and its really tough to win her over arguments. So Dharshi left her to her own thoughts. And now, Dharshi knew that Hirdh lost her control. Hirdh had no fling over anyone till that day and no boyfriends either. Though she received many proposals, she will not even go through them and she will kindly reject those. So, finally boys lost interest in her as days passed. And then, she never got any proposals. She was also contented with their impression on her. Dharshi asked her to change this character of hers and even forced her to have some fun. But Hirdh always knew Dharshi and when she was about to become naughty, she eludes from her. Finally, Dharshi stopped forcing her from having fun. Thinking of all these, Dharshi slowly drifted off to sleep.

Hirdh hugged her orange pillow and turned towards her left and drifted off to deep sleep. Soon she heard the same chocolaty voice calling her.

"Hi Hirdh!"

"Hi Alric". She said shyly. She also noticed that her voice became feminine, which never happened before and she smiled.

Alric stared at her and he felt like floating in sky. And he smiled looking into her eyes. This was the first time, he ever looked into greenish blue eyes and he stood there mesmerized.

Hirdh noticed his sudden change of feelings and said, "hello Alric! What are you staring at?" and she giggled.

Alric came back to his conscious and heard her giggles. He thought that was the most cutest sound in the world and he sheepishly said, " nothing... its just.. umm.. huh..." he stuttered making Hirdh to giggle more.

Alric, " what are you doing here?"

Hirdh laughed, " where? Here? What people do in library huh? I have an assignment to be submitted on coming Monday. So I'm searching for materials." She added, trying to avoid him getting embarrassed. Alric got relieved and said, "oh great! You are studious!"

Hirdh, " Haha! I'm not. I'm just trying to finish my works before dead time. So what are you doing here?" she laughed within herself thinking that was her turn to pose questions. Alric thought he successfully changed the topic from his suspicious presence at this time to her studies but didn't expect her bold questions towards him. 'How can he say that, he came to just have a small chat with her to library?' So he said, " came to find Nick", trying to manage. But Hirdh knew he was lying and thought of letting it go, though she liked to play with her friends, when they are lying to her. But she couldn't see Alric as just her friend. Not even like her bff. But far more than that...

Suddenly, she felt a sound alarm turning on and she woke up from her sleep as her thoughts got disturbed. Hirdh was smiling when she woke up and Dharshi stared at her.
