When Alric was in his final year, he came across a tall & slender girl. He just left her thoughts aside and was working on his lab works. Her gorgeous face crossed his mind, out of blue. He just smiled as he thought that she was the most beautiful girl, he had ever seen. Then, his philosophy flashed in his mind. He immediately left his thoughts aside and started working on his home works at hostel.

The next day, he greeted his friend Nick, a good morning and went to his classes with Nick, leaving him in his statistics class. Alric was listening to his classes and was taking notes on class lectures. Suddenly, out of nowhere, again her image flashed his mind. He thought it as something strange and he tried to put her aside, but couldn't. He never lost his control like this before and he felt there was something wrong with him. As days passed, he was thinking of her a lot and felt bad about not following his philosophy 'dedication to his future wife'. The effort he had put to forget her had a counter effect on him, making him to think a lot about her. He knew that he was becoming insane. He was being noted by his close friend, Nick. Only Nick in the whole world knew about Alric, as a whole. He even knew how will Alric react to any kind of situations.

Nick was the only one to whom Alric shared about his past and his bff Elsa. Because he knew that Nick will get to know the real meaning between relationships unlike others, who just want to hear something and gossip in many dimensions apart from the fact, thus the fact get well hidden by gossips. He liked a girl called Elsa, 3 years back, in a brotherly sisterly manner. Elsa's mom died due to lung cancer. He pitied her and stayed with her whenever he could find time, to make her feel better. Elsa had a fling on him. But Alric never gave away any hints of liking her more than a sister. She felt very bad.

As days passed, she found Mike. Mike, a family friend of Mr. Hilton, Elsa's father. Hilton loved Elsa a lot and treated her like a friend, more than just a father. Hilton knew about Mike, far better than Elsa. He was more than being alert, protecting his only daughter. But, Mike continuously impressed Elsa and made her fall in his trap. Later, Elsa found Mike cheating on her with a red blonde Rovanda and she got a heart wreck and it took 5 years for her to overcome the wreck. Because she had given her whole soul to Mike.

During those years, after finding Alric as her elder bro, she started following Alric's principle, 'dedication to her future husband', which made her life so simple and she was able to rise her guards around her, saving her from lots of shameless flirting boys. Alric was more than happy because of a good change in Elsa and they became bffs. Nick was confidential with Alric, whose lips were always sealed-tight, a very rare come good quality among guys in their university, at that point of time. Also, Nick understood Alric to the core and spotted him whenever something went wrong within him.

Nick spotted the sudden change in Alric for the past few days. One day, Nick decided to ask him about what was bothering him because, he knew that Alric would share with him anything that‟s important.

Nick, "Hey man!"

Alric , "Hey Nick! How was your classes? " Nick, " classes were awesome... you ok dude? You seem to be disturbed by something. What's up Alric?"

Alric, "nothing Nick. I'm just not able to concentrate on my classes as before. I have never felt like this before. And I‟m yet to find out the reason" and he shoved his hand into his disheveled hair for the umpteenth time.

Nick, "ahaha! Gotcha! :p" and he smirked.

Alric "you found the reason? What is that?" he was worried.

Nick , "you saw a girl"

Alric, "what do u mean I saw a girl?"

Nick, "yeah. But this is not something that can be controlled Alric. It's like sneezing. You don't know when it will come.. but when it comes, u have to accept it with no second thoughts. Common man! Its time to go for a girl friend."

Alric, "what? No. It's impossible. I have to get settled first Nick."

Nick, "well! If u want to get settled first, u have to concentrate on your classes first and for that, u should know about that lucky girl first. Now, don't elude. Say me who she is?" and he showed his lost puppy eyes to him, his trump card to get things done from Alric.

Alric knew that he can elude from anyone but Nick. Nick always caught him when something bothers him... He also thought that, he could manage both his personal life with his studies and he decided to say him what he knew of her.

Alric sighed, "Ok fine! Here's it. I saw a girl. "

Nick smirked and gave him a 'at last, u have fallen into love dude' look.

Alric, "Shut up Nick. It's nothing."

Nick, "Oh yeah? Well if it's nothing, say me who she is?"

Alric, "I donno Nick. I swear. I just got a glimpse of her, when I was working on my psychiatric classes."

Nick, "Haha! Its ok. Say me how she looks atleast. " Alric, " Its nothing man."

Nick, " Oh u call it nothing when she is disturbing u for the past few days.. mmm funny... you r gonna say me or not Alric?"

Alric, "Mmmm yeah you are right. She is disturbing me throughout for the past one week"

Nick, "See I told you nah?! Now say me about her. Please!"

Alric, "I just had a glimpse of her, I will say you what I saw. Ok?! Well she was tall for a girl.. around 5‟5‟‟ and slender... golden hair.. upto her waist... she left it of freely... was wearing a V-neck plain white top and a blue jean... had a black backpack... was heading towards Archeology building, surrounded by 2 girls and 2 boys.. might be her friends.. that's all I know.."

Nick, "Mmmm interesting. And these were from just a glimpse?" Alric smiled sheepishly at him.

Nick, "Haha ok ok... I will let u know who she is within this week... ok dude?"

Alric, "Oh common! You need not do these wasting your time." Alric had put his head down feeling about wasting Nick's time rather than from preparing to their upcoming exams.

Nick, "Chup Alric. Exams are on May and it's only Feb now . Also I have my own sources. So don't you worry. "

Alric gawked at him.

Nick thought that that's one of the rare expressions of Alric, when he was totally confused. Nick smiled at him, saying " Alric! Common dude! And I promise that my lips are sealed.. ok?"

Nick saw a sudden change of expression, from gawking to silent smiling and Alric nodded.
