Sunday was dull to Hirdh. She was not laughing for silly things. She said a dull good morning to Dharshi. She took bath and sat with her assignment, drawing circles with her pencil on her notes. Dharshi asked her to have her breakfast, but she skipped the breakfast. Hirdh was a girl, who couldn't tolerate her hunger. And here, she sat skipping her morning breakfast. Hirdh always stood by the decision she made. So, Dharshi left without her for breakfast. Dharshi and Jose spoke about Hirdh. And Jose told her about Nick's phone call.

Dharshi sighed, "Oh thank God! Nothing serious. Hirdh's an idiot!" Jose raised his eyebrows and she assured him that Hirdh will be fine in no time that  if she knew that Alric was just kidding her. But Jose was not satisfied. And he planned to speak to Hirdh, in person.

When Dharshi entered their room, she saw Hirdh rubbing her tear stained face. Oh girl! She thought.

Meanwhile, Hirdh took her phone out and saw 14 missed calls from Nick. He called her till 12:30am at night. She had put her phone to silent, yesterday evening, before entering the club and she forgot to put it back to general. She was in no mood to speak to Nick. So she just texted him, "Hi Nick! Sorry. Mobile was in silent. Forgot to put it back to general!"

She got an instant message from him, " hey Hirdh!  Are you ok? Can I meet you?"

"yeah I'm fine Nick. No, I'm busy. See you tomorrow." And she had sent a text to her friends, asking for Claire's number. She got it a few minutes later, from one of her friends named Elizabeth.

She forwarded the text to Nick. She threw her mobile back to her bed and stared at her book, still in the first line, for the past one hour.

Dharshi came back.

"whats up Hirdh?"

"Nothing!"

"Liar!"

Hirdh gave a sad smile. " You know me well!" "Ofcourse I do! Now say me. What's going on?" Hirdh passed on her mobile to her.

Dharshi checked her mobile. "who's this Claire?" "Someone, Alric is interested." 

"what nonsense?!", exclaimed Dharshi.

Hirdh stood there as dead as a doornail.

" hey idiot! Alric is not seeing anyone. Except YOU!"     " huh! I don't think so Dharshi!"

" How do you say so? Care to explain?"

"well! He met her at the ball... and told she was beautiful." 

"so?"

"and he asked for her number!"

"and?"

" and I asked few of my friends. Got her contact and had sent it to Nick" "you are an idiot! He was just kidding Hirdh. Nothing serious."

"yeah I am! No doubt. I have always been in a fool's paradise. Hoping I would also taste pure love!" Hirdh's eyes became moist.

"hey baby! I will fix this. Cheer up!" She embraced her. Holding Hirdh like a kid.

While they embraced, Dharshi texted Nick, to meet them at the cafeteria.

They heard a knock on the door. "come in"

Jose came in. Hirdh had red pluffy eyes.

Jose stroked her hair, behind her ears, like an elder bro and received a small smile from Hirdh.

"come on let's go and have something to eat", Jose said.

"Um... im not really hungry. You two go. I will stay here.", Hirdh said.

"Chup you idiot! Now move. Else I will kidnap you to cafeteria.", said Dharshi. Hirdh sighed and left with them to cafeteria, just to see Nick waiting for them.

"hey" they all waved. Nick hugged Dharshi, pink colour rising on her cheeks. Hirdh and Jose saw them. Hirdh felt happy for her. She was upto something.

Jose cleared her throat. Nick smiled sheepishly.

"Hirdh..."

"yeah?"

"I want you to come to room no: 301 in our hostel"

" me? why?"

" you will see to that yourself"

 "huh.... I... I have..."

"You have nothing to do right now, at least for another couple of hours. And we are going there Hirdh! We will also be accompanying you. So cool!" said Dharshi.

"But food first. Hirdh skipped her breakfast" said Jose.

"What are you people upto?" asked Hirdh, staring at Dharshi and Nick.

"Nothing.." they said.

"liars! Ok whatever!" and her stomach grumbled, making everyone laugh.

They all had a quick snack and Hirdh had her rice. She kept on trying to find what was going on but she couldn't get a hint of what they were up to. So she decided to remain quiet and let time answer her.

They all ended up in 3rd floor of the boys hostel. Jose and Nick waved the boys on their way. Dharshi noticed many boys staring at Hirdh, but Hirdh was on her own dream land. Idiot, she thought. They heard Alric speaking when they ended up before 301. Hirdh stiffened. She saw them. They asked her to remain silent and to listen. She wasn't nosey. But since everyone insisted, she listened to his voice.

"Oh! God! damn it, Alric! What the hell did you think you were saying her? She was not even able to recognize that I was just kidding her. How dare were you to compliment a bitch, whats her name? something like Clade, well who wants it? See you don't even remember her name.. and you complimented her just to tease your girl?", Alric was shouting at himself, in the mirror.

Hirdh's eyes watered. Only then, she realized that Alric was kidding her. Idiot! She chided herself. Girl? What did she hear?

"Stupid as a fool you are Alric! Hirdh is your girl. And will, as always. How can you disappoint her? Didn't you see, teasing her will only disappoint her? And now, you are crying over the spilled milk?"

Hirdh peaked through the keyhole still standing outside his room.

"Oh my god! Im really sorry. Hirdh, you are the most beautiful girl, I have ever met!" cried Alric, sitting on his bed with his hands covering up his face.

His eyes were as bloody as hers. His shirt was shrinked. His hair was not combed. He looked like a mess. But still looked like a Greek God to her.
