I practically skipped to the sing along at the campfire, because I could sit next to Bella.

I got there, and sat on a long bench next to Bella, who was next to Jason, who was next to Percy, who had his arm around Annabeth with Piper on my other side. We sang random songs about armor and monsters and the gods, and afterwards we walked as a group to the cabins area. "Percy! We're such idiots!" Jason suddenly said, "We haven't introduced our new friends to the rest of the seven or Nico!" "Yeah!", Annabeth said, "You guys stay right here, I'll go get them!" And with that she left me and a confused Bella, with a smiling Percy, Jason, and Piper.

A few minutes later, Annabeth returned with a girl with cinnamon curly hair, around 14 or 15 with her arm looped through a guy around 16 with black hair, and dark eyes's arm. Next, was a boy with black hair that covered his eyes with his head hung low with a pale complexion, and another boy, who looked like a Latino elf, with brown curly hair, and slightly pointed features with a mischievous grin that made me instinctively check that my wallet was still in my pocket. "Hey! I'm Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, bad boy supreme!", the curly haired boy said extending his hand for a shake. Bella and I shook his hand and was introduced to the others.

The curly haired girl said, "Hi, I'm Hazel, this is my boyfriend Frank," as she said 'boyfriend' the guy linked to her faintly blushed, "And, this is my half-brother Nico." She finished nodding her head at the kid with black hair. "Hazel and Nico are children of Hades, well, Hazel is a daughter of Pluto. Frank is a son of Mars," Jason added. We sat by the lake and chatted about ourselves, when suddenly Percy jumped up and whispered, "Oh my gods. It's late. The harpies will be coming." Except for me and Bella, everyone nodded nervously looking around. One at a time, we crept to our cabins. Bella and I were the last two left, as we waited for Percy to get to his cabin.

"Sam," Bella whispered, "This is really kinda fun." A slight grin began to creep up on her, one that made my heart jump on a trampoline, God! How can she be this cute all the time?! I thought. "Yeah," I agreed not hiding the smile also creeping up. We should get going soon, but I don't want this moment to end, so I take her hand, and somehow spontaneously muster the courage to say, "Bella? D-do you want to go on a date with me?" I ask, looking down red as Rachel's hair, rubbing the back of my neck with my other hand. "Uh...uh... I- YES!" She yells, but releases her hand from my grip, dives behind a bush covering her mouth, and motions for me to follow.

We sit there until we're sure no-one is nearby, and she gets up, waves goodbye, grabs her crutches and goes back to the Zeus cabin. As soon as she closes the door I sprint to the Aphrodite cabin, where an anxious Mitchell and Piper stand, staring at me saying with their eyes, Dude! How did it go?! I nod embarrassed. They hug me and I sleep peacefully, knowing that I'm perfectly happy at the moment.
