This story will all be in Rapunzel's POV so I find it unnecessary to add it at the start of every chapter.

The beautiful morning sun shone on my face as I practically jumped out of bed.

Ah.

Yet another day-or should I say: another chance, to make something wonderful happen at Gothel industries!

I basically skipped to the bathroom to get ready as my long blonde hair blandly dragged behind me.

Oh!

I almost forgot!

My name is Rapunzel! And yes I do realize the fact that it is very much like the children's story but that's what my mother Gothel has decided to call me!

I do question her name choices but who am I to judge!

I took a nice warm shower, brushed my teeth and changed into a pair of light blue skinny jeans, a white kinda lace tank top, and my white converse.

As for my hair, I just decided that I would just put it into a high ponytail even if it will still reach my waist.

I raced down the hall to the elevator and pressed the button to take me to the 56th floor.

I know you may be wondering something: why in the world do I live in a 56+ story house?!

Well your answer,random questioner, is because I live in my mother's company!

Ever since I was born, I have been put into this tower by my mother since she insisted that an innocent girl such as your's truly, would never survive a day in the real world like your everyday, run of the mill, teenager.

When I was young,I would often valiantly attempt to escape and see the real world with my own two eyes but the closet taste I have ever gotten to "freedom" is my secret friendship with Pascal.

Pascal is what kids these days apparently refer to as a "bbf".

Oh wait.

I think I said that wrong.

Oh yah!

It's "bff"!

Nevermind!

It all started one day when one of mother's business friend came over.

It was after school, and he had just picked up his son from high school when mother called him for an emergency meeting.

About what,I do not know but I could care less about the details.

Mother had left her files behind in the lab in the hurry and texted me to bring them
to her office immediately.

I was rushing through the hallway when I bumped into someone and dropped the files.

I looked up and saw this random stranger standing there staring at me with a rather funny face. Almost as if my positive attitude was extremely annoying! Impossible right?!

He had huge dark dark brown eyes that that-oddly enough- had an slightly odd hint off redshimmered from curiosity as he observed this new specimen that was me. He had shaggy platinum blonde hair

"Oh! Why hello there!" I said in a rather perky voice according to Pascal in the days to come, "I am such a clumsy person-honestly I wouldn't even be able to walk without falling flat on my face if my life depends on it!" I said with a huge smile on my face

After a few minutes passed by I grew rather impatient and asked, " Aren't you going to be a gentleman and pick up my belongings?"

First he looked at me like I had lost it and then he burst into a laughing fit as I barely said," Are you for real?!!"

"Yes I am very 'for real'" I said with a slightly confused expression on my face.

Once he calmed himself he said, " Are you secretly a fifty year old that looks exactly like your any day teenager?"

"What?! You think I am a fifty year old?!"

"No little miss sunshine! You are so innocent!"

"First of- why does everyone say I am ' so innocent '?! And second- oh wait never in that was it."

He laughed once again and said," I am guessing there must be some extremely interesting story behind you,right?"

"You could say such a thing is possible."

"I would love to hear i-"

"RAPUNZEL!!!!!!!!GET IN HERE NOW!!!"

"Oh no. The beast is aggravated isn't she." said the stranger

"Ahhhh! I got to go! I'll be back if I survive."

"I look forward to that." he said

I looked down and blushed but then the moment was interrupted when a thunderous voice shook the building.

"RAPUNZEL GET OVER HERE!!!!!"

"Momentarily mother!" I said as I reached to her office

"Mother?!" I heard the stranger say

After dealing a with mother, I hung out with Pascal for the rest of the day. I told him about how I was stuck in this skyscraper since I was born and he told me about his experiences in the real world. Soon, we became the best of friends.
