Epilogue
This is a little different from what I would usually do, there's two ways it's gonna end, you pick which you like more ;-)
One year later...
Paisleys pov
"You ready for this?" Jocelyn asks me, grasping my hands in her own and smiling widely. "I've never been more ready in my life." I say happily, she nods her head, motioning to a tall man down the isle. That's when the music begins and I feel my dad come from behind me and grasp my arm.
"Hello darling." He says, his voice lightly cracking as he speaks. I glance over at him, noticing that a single tear has fallen from his eyes. The last time this happened I was in the hospital after the accident. Back when I was still an orthodontist, not a stay at home mom, and back when I still thought Luke was just out to break my heart again.
Boy have things changed, after all, here I am standing in a beautiful wedding dress along with my three best friends in bridesmaid dresses.
On cue, Jocelyn and Michael leave first, Jocelyn taking her position on the left side of the stage, while Michael takes his on the right. I can faintly see Luke through the small crack in the door, he has the biggest smile on his face, matching mine. His suit hugs his body perfectly and his hair is also styled to perfection.
Calum and Ana leave shortly after, walking hand and hand to the stage slowly, Ana doing so much more gracefully than at the rehearsal when she accidentally tripped. Luckily calum had caught her before she had gotten hurt.Ashton and Delilah followed suit.
That's when I hand Aaron and Chase a pillow, each holding one ring, (strapped there for dear life in fear of them falling), and my little Lia with her basket of flower petals.
Chase and Aaron hobble out first, Aaron being a little more steady on his little feet than Chase. They walk slowly towards Luke, smiles on their tiny faces and their little legs working on overdrive. They stumble, and trip, but they get there, doing so in the most adorable manor.
Then I send out Lia, she has a basket of flowers in one hand that she has been taught to scatter across the isle. She does so at a slow pace, but she still gets it done, managing to do so all while being completely and utterly adorable.
Then the traditional music begins and my dad links arms with me. "Ready love?" He asks, kissing my cheek and looking down at me, a look of pride covering his face.
"Sure am." I chuckle nervously, clutching my bouquet of flowers in my hand tighter and adjusting my dress. This is the day. It's finally happening, everything I've ever wanted, I have it.
I take a deep breath as the doors are opened once again, the people all turning to face me. There wasn't many, we decided to keep our wedding private, only inviting the immediate family plus some friends. Jack, Ben, my father, all of the girl's parents, all of the boy's parents, Justin. There were a couple others, but not many, in total there was about fifty people. Still enough to make me anxious though.
Luke adjusts his black tie as he smiles at me, a spark of happiness igniting his beautiful blue eyes. Everyone stands up and I begin walking down the isle, my father right beside me. Me and Luke lock eyes, and we don't remove them from each other throughout the entire ceremony.
The only thing I could think of as I looked into the eyes of the one I loved the most was that this was one of the happiest days of my life.
-
"Do you Paisley Leigh, take Luke Hemmings to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, until death do you part."
"I do." I say, not a trace of hesitation in my voice. I stare into his eyes, embracing the feeling of his hands wrapped around my own. They have an entire different feel now. He's not just my boyfriend, hes not just my fiancée, he's my husband.
"Do you Luke Hemmings, take Paisley Leigh to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, until death do you part?"
"I do." He says, and just like that, my heart exploded with love and excitement all at once.
"You may kiss the bride." The man says, not even a millisecond later Luke's lips are pressed firmly to my own. His lips felt different, everything felt different, it was a good different.
Third persons pov
Shortly after the wedding, Paisley and Luke went on a honeymoon, bringing their little girl Lia with them. While they vacationed, the rest of the boys and girls gathered up their things and moved on.
Michael and Jocelyn bought a large house on the outside of Manitoba, making sure to include extra rooms for their second child on the way. They chose to hold off on marriage for now, but are thinking of having it later on when the children are bigger and can remember it.
Calum and Ana also packed up, but decided to get a smaller house, one that would fit their family perfectly, plus one extra room for when ever anyone stayed over. Their little Chase was busy as ever as he had just learned to walk and was anxious to find out everything you needed to know about the world. Let's just say they spent a lot of time bubble wrapping the corners of tables, chairs, etc.
Ashton and Delilah led on to a pretty simple life, they moved back to Australia, though they still kept all their stuff in the mansion they were all previously living in so they could visit frequently. Engaged and more in love than ever, they decided on waiting before having children so they could travel the world together, without being surrounded by other people like a tour.
In the end, they all were in love, they had amazing families, and they lived happily ever after.
The end.

Paisleys pov
I awoke to loud beeping noises, followed by voices filling my mind. I cannot feel anything.
"She's waking up."
"Get him out of here."
"Get the doctor."
The voices continued. A ragged breath escaped my lips as I gasped for air. I tried to open my eyes a couple times, though I was unsuccessful, only being faced with the blackness of my eyelids.
I felt the pull of something in my arm, and that caused me to become aware of the limb beside me. I attempt to lift a finger, and after a few tries, I am moving my entire hand. It felt stiff, as if I hadn't moved it in weeks, even months.
Next I try my other hand, followed by my toes, then opening my mouth, and finally my eyes again. This time, however, they open. I come face to face with a bright light, almost to the point of blinding me. I scowl as I clamp my eyes shut, an awkward groan making its way through my chapped lips.
I stay still for the moment, waiting silently as I slowly open my eyes, this time knowing not to shoot them open like before. After they adjust, I take my time in looking around. I don't see much at first, due to the few people crowded around me, but I soon realize where I am.
The beeping... The orders... The people.. I'm in a hospital. But why?
"W-w-" I begin, wanting to ask where I am, but my throat feels so dry, it's nothing but a small whisper that comes out.
"I think she wants water." One nurse says, one I recognize, though I don't know from where. They grab a glass, then one lady holds it up to my lips, pouring the liquid into my mouth. I swallow hungrily, feeling pure satisfaction as it runs down my throat, curing my thirst.
"T-than-thank you." I manage to say, the croak in my voice shocking me a little. That's when I remember Luke.
"Why am I here? Where is Luke? What happened?" The questions spill out of my mouth, my voice still sounding scratchy and strained.
"Luke? Who's Luke?" The woman asks me, a confused expression painted on her face.
"My husband. Where is he?" I demand, growing irritated.
"Sweetie the only people that have come to visit you are a boy named Justin, a girl named Jocelyn and your father." She says, my jaw drops. They didn't visit me?
"Can I please speak to one of them?" I ask, small tears gathering in my eyes. How could my own husband not come and visit me?
"Of course." She says, then her and the rest of the nurses leave the room, all bunched in a little huddle as they exit. A couple minutes later, after I am successful of not crying, I hear someone open the door and walk in.
I turn to face the door and smile as Jocelyn looks back at me.
"Oh my god! you're alright." She sighs in happiness, tears streaming down her face as she rushes over to me and embraces me softly. "Yeah, I'm okay." I laugh.
"What happened?" I ask after a while. She frowns, looking at me with a questioning gaze. "You don't remember?" She asks, I shake my head, trying to think back to what could have happened. Last I remember, I was getting on the plane with Luke and Lia, getting ready to leave for our vacation.
She begins to speak. "Well-" "Where's Lia?" I interrupt, not being able to contain my questions.
"What do you mean? Who's Lia?" She asks. My jaw drops yet again.
"My daughter! What the hell do you mean? Where's Luke?" I panic, looking around as if they'd magically appear in this room. "Luke, like your ex Luke?" She asks, seeming very shocked at my state. She looks at me like I have two heads as I groan loudly.
"No like my husband Luke. What the hell is going on? Where is he?" I yell, my voice growing and my anger rising.
"Paisley what has gotten into you?" She says, grasping my trembling hands in her own and stroking them lightly.
"I have a daughter, Lia, and my husband Luke. You have a son named Aaron, and Michael is your fiancée, you're pregnant right now, and- and Ana and calum have a baby! CHASE! THATS THE BABYS NAME! And then... Then Ashton and Delilah!" I scream, finally breaking down and starting to sob. She embraces me in a hug and runs her hands through my hair comfortingly.
What's going on?
"Paisley babe, I still don't know what you're talking about... Maybe I should go get the doctor." She says nervously, pulling away and wiping her hands on her jeans.
"No please! Just wait." I beg, the tears coming down so hard that I'm sure I could create a whole new river. "W-what happened? Why am I here?" I ask, hiccuping directly after.
"You were in a car accident." She explains, I shake my head, I don't remember that.
"Again? Since when did I get in another car accident..." I trail off, confusing my self way more than necessary.
"This is the first time you've ever been in a car accident..." She says. I frown, tilting my neck to the side, only for it to give a sickening crack. Probably due to me not moving it by myself for God knows how long.
"So you mean to tell me that I'm not married, I don't have a child, you don't have a child, calum and Ana don't have a child, and you have no idea who Delilah is?" I ask, a hint of humour in my voice as I think of the absurdity. What did I just make this all up in my mind? Pfft no.
"No. I don't have a child, I don't know who Delilah is, I don't even know who Ana is, and I'm pretty sure the last time I talked to you about Luke, you hated his fûcking guts because of what he did to you at the end of high school." She says, basically all in one breath. I instantly stop laughing, my face upturning as I see the seriousness covering her face.
"Oh." I say, not being able to speak anything more.
So this was all just a dream? All of it was just made up? This can't be real.
Jocelyn seems to notice the discomfort and confusion surrounding my every part, she sits up from her position on the chair and comes and sits back on the hospital bed.
"You left your house in the middle of the night a month ago and started wandering through the streets. Ashton said that he and Calum had taken you to the bar earlier that day when they came for their little one day concert, and that you had gotten extremely drunk and passed out in their car. They took you home but apparently you woke up, decided on going for a stroll, and walked in front of a car while you were still drunk." She explains softly, probably trying to be soothing so I don't freak out too much.
I stay silent for at leased ten minutes as I ponder about what she is trying to tell me. Am I insane?
"So this was all a dream, I never had- you never... I'm not with Luke?" I squeak, turning my head so it's facing forward and I'm staring at the clock.
"Not that I know of." She says.
So this was all a dream? A wildly vivid dream that seemed to last years when in reality I was just comatose for a month. I'm not with Luke, I don't have a child, and my problems are all back to what they were before...
I'm back to being alone.
