Avon looked down at her phone as she felt pain go through her. A tightness in her chest. Karl looked at her and immediately touched her shoulder, 

"Avon?" 

Avon sighed and put her phone down, 

"Karl...she wants to see Quin,"

"What?"

Avon felt something wet go down her cheek, 

"Quin's mother wants to see her Karl...and the court said that I would have the choice to agree or not...but how the fuck am I supposed to decide that for her?" 

Karl pulled her into a hug, 

"Avon Sadler...Quin is strong, you should talk to her about it," 

Avon sighed and glanced at her phone, 

"I don't get it Karl...the last time we saw her before the documentation shit...it didn't go well, and she didn't even try to fight me for her after it. I thought she would but she just quit. She gave up on Quin so why try to talk to her now?" 

Karl sighed and pulled her into a side hug,

"I don't know Avon, maybe try talking to Quin...you guys are still planning on moving back to New York anyways, so might as well talk about it now," 

Avon nodded slowly,

"Yeah...I guess so...thank you Karl,"

Karl kissed her forehead in a brotherly fashion, 

"Of course Ave, now go talk to Q,"

Avon walked through the door and saw Quin laying on her stomach on her phone, 

"Hey," 

Quin looked up and smiled, 

"Hey Ave, what's up?" 

Avon sat at the foot of Quin's bed, 

"I need to talk to you about something Quin,"

Quin immediately sat up and faced her, 

"What happened?" 

Avon sighed, 

"Your mom wants to speak to you," 

Quin gasped and shook her head, 

"No, Avon please...you shouldn't joke about that shit...we both know she doesn't want anything to do with me,"

Avon sighed, 

"I don't know why she wants to speak to you Quin...and if you don't want to it is your complete choice," 

Quin sighed and looked at Avon in the eyes,

"Avon...what should I do? You are my sister and I don't know what to do...and I know it must be hard for you because of what happened-"

Avon put her hands on Quin's shoulders,

"Okay, I'm stopping you there. Quin Sadler, you are my sister and I love you with my entire being just as I do everyone else that we know. I believe that you will trust your heart and decide based on what is best for you. It does not matter what I want or think, or your mom. Take a bit to think about it," 

Quin sighed and hugged Avon, 

"Thank you, sister,"

"Forever and always lil sis,"
