Chapter 23: The girl she wanted him to love
Not edited.
The day was finally here, Taylor had already made up her mind; she was going to keep a smile on her face and watch the love of her life marry someone else, someone he loved.
Taylor looked down at the clutch she was carrying with herself, it had something important inside it. She would need it soon enough.
Taylor gave herself a one last glance in the mirror before leaving the guest room. It was her last day here and she couldn't be more happier to leave the room. She wanted her soft, silk sheets back.
"Oh, there you are! We were waiting for you." Raine was standing next to a land rover with her arms around a young looking man.
"You didn't have to wait for me, Raine." Taylor said softly as she stood in front of Raine with her hands clutching her clutch that complimented her dress.
Raine smiled and shook her head, "Taylor this is my friend, Belle's son Rocky and Rocky this is Taylor, Harry's best friend."
"Nice to meet you," Rocky said with his lips stretched into a sweet smile.
Taylor just nodded and looked at Raine with a blank look on her face.
"You can ride with Rocky." Raine said as she opened the Land Rover's door and got inside without looking back.
The car left the driveway. Taylor and Rocky were the only ones left now.
"The wedding will start any minute now, I think we should leave already." Taylor said and raised an eyebrow at Rocky who just stared at her.
"Y-yea, lets go." Rocky stumbled on his words as he led Taylor towards his mustang. Taylor loved vintage cars.
"Nice ride you've got yourself." Taylor complimented and got inside the car as Rocky held the door opened for her.
"Thank you, I borrowed it from a friend." He said when he settled in and buckled his seat belt.
"Can I ask you a question, Taylor ?"
"Go on..."
"Does he know ?"
"Who knows what ?"
"Does Harry know you love him ?"
Taylor smiled and looked down at her hands that were folded tightly together on her lap. Looking back up, Taylor glanced at Winston and sighed.
"Can you pull up to the side for a second please, I don't feel well." Taylor said in a quite voice as she fidgeted with her dress.
"Y-yea sure," Rocky stuttered as he pulled the car to a stop on the side of the empty road.
Taylor got out of the car and took in a deep breath with Rocky stood next to her.
Taylor opened the clutch she was carrying and pulled out a knife.
Rocky let out a chuckle and shook his head, "Why do you have a knife with you ?"
"You ask lots of questions. It's not a good thing,Rocky ." Taylor smirked as she faced Rocky as she plunged the knife deep in his chest, to his heart.
Winston made a gargled noise as he dropped down on his knees, his hands clutching the knife.
"W-why ?" Rocky asked as tears leaked from his eyes.
"You asked me if Harry knew that I loved him, this was my answer." Taylor said with a nod and bent down to his level, pulling out the knife with a rough jerk, the knife fell on the hard concrete. She pulled of Ricky's jacket and stood up to her height with the knife in her left hand and the jacket in her other.
"Gonna need this later." Taylor muttered to herself as she cleaned the knife with the jacket before putting the knife back in her clutch.
"i'm burrowing your car, you don't need it anyway. See you later," Taylor smiled widely as she opened the car's door.
"Or maybe not," She smirked as she started the engine of the car, driving away.

Taylor entered the chapel, the guests were already seated but the groom and the groomsmen were not there yet.
Taylor searched the room and finally she found who she was looking for. Raine.
Walking over to Raine, Taylor held the clutch tightly in her hands.
"Are my parents here ?" Was the first Taylor said as she reached Raine.
"No, honey. Your mother is sick so they couldn't make it. Ron would be at the reception though." Raine said with a sad smile on her face.
"Oh, that's great. I wanted to meet Ron before I leave for Washington." Taylor said.
"You're leaving already ?"
"Not now, after the reception."
"You should stay for a few days, darling. Meet your parents, hang out with Ron and-"
"I'm gonna go see Harry." Taylor said abruptly and walked away.
[]
Letting out a deep breath, Taylor knocked on the door.
"Come in," Harry's voice reached Taylor's ear like a sweet melody. She loved his voice.
Taylor walked in and closed the door behind her and gazed at Harry. Her mouth wide open as she took him in.
"Taylor ?" Harry said, surprised.
"You, you look great." Taylor whispered as she stayed rooted to her spot.
"Tank you, you look beautiful today I mean, you always do but you look extraordinary today." Harry stumbled over his words as he gawked at her.
"Save some compliments for the bride, Harry." Taylor laughed causing Harry to let out an awkward chuckle.
"So, you're getting married, you're gonna have kids some day. How does it feel ?"
"I don't know about the kids part but yea, i'm getting married and I'm feeling great."
Taylor nodded and walked over to where he was standing and stood an inch apart from him.
"Do you remember ?" Taylor breathed out.
"Remember what ?" Harry rasped his eyes roamed around Taylor's face.
"The pact we made, Harry." Taylor croaked out as she placed her hands on Harry's chest.
"I-I" Harry stuttered as she looked down at Taylor's hands.
"You don't remember." Taylor stated as she took a few steps back, her hands falling from his chest.
Harry just stared at her. His mind was a mess, he was thinking of things that he shouldn't.
"Good luck, hope you have a happy married life." Taylor said as she walked to the door hastily.
"Oh and you should think about the kids things, you'd make a lovely father." Taylor said looking over her shoulder before leaving the room with tears glistening in her eyes.
He doesn't remember
He doesn't remember
He. Doesn't. Remember.
Taylor stood against a wall as she wiped a tear away from her eye. She just couldn't break down, she won't break down.
Pulling herself together and wiping underneath her eyes, she made her way to the front of the altar.
She got the front row tickets.
Taylor sat next to an old lady and waited for the groomsmen and the bridesmaid to enter just like everyone else.
After the bridesmaid, the groomsmen and Harry took their respective places it was time for Lillian to enter.
And there she was, looking like an angel.
Her dress was a strapless, white dress with the veil spread wide behind her.
Taylor wanted to be her. She wanted to be the girl that Harry loved.
Everyone stood up to their feet as they watched Lillian walk down the aisle, while everyone was busy gawking at Lillian, Taylor was looking at Harry who unfortunately was looking at Lillian with dreamy eyes.
It made Taylor sick to her stomach.
The couple stood next to each other, both of them smiling widely, looking at one another with love shining bright in their eyes as the priest said the good old words.
"Speak now or forever hold your peace." The priest said and the smile that was there on Harry's face fell as his head turned towards Taylor who was looking at Harry with tears in her eyes.
Harry couldn't believe it. He was really thinking of Taylor interrupting his wedding. He wanted her to say something, anything. But he loved Lillian, didn't he ?
"Do you remember ?" Taylor's voice echoed in Harry's mind as he stared at her.
"There are three rules okay ?" A seventeen year old Taylor said as she next in front of Harry, their knees touching.
"What are the rules ?" Harry asked as he played with Taylor's hands.
"Rule number one; we'll marry each other."
"Why ? What if we fall in love with someone else ?"
"Well, even if that happens nobody will know me the way you do and nobody will know you like I do."
"Taylor, they'll know everything about us! Thats what love is, geez."
"Will your lover know that your pinky finger twitches whenever you have a nightmare ? Will she even notice that ?" Taylor said, throwing her hands up in the air. Harry snatched her hands and brought them to his chest.
"So what you're saying is that even if we do fall in love with other people, we'd always come back to each other ?"
"Yes! Now, rule number 2; We'd always give each other the space that we need."
"Deal."
"And rule number 3; you'll wear that white khaki shirt your mother gifted you on your sixteenth birthday."
"But it won't fit!"
"You're right, lets think of another rule then."
Harry was brought out of his thoughts when he heard Lillian gasp.
