Taylor sat on the soft bed and leaned back on her elbows, staring up at the ceiling of the guest room.
The party had started a long time ago and she did go down.
Earlier, Taylor had went down for a glass of water but after seeing Harry and Lillian laughing together at something, Taylor bolted up the stairs.
Nobody had come to ask her if she was okay, if she needed something.
Taylor huffed and laid on her back, her hands folded together on her stomach, her dress rode up her thighs. Taylor had decided to go with a short, black, silk dress that came down to just above her knees, her feet were covered with grey sandals and her hair was up in a messy ponytail. She wanted to look like Darkness. She wanted to feel as confident as her but she couldn't be someone she wasn't or that was what she wanted herself to believe.
"Missed me ?" Speak of the devil and he shall appear, in Taylor's case the devil was a she. Darkness slumped down on the bed next to Taylor. She was still in the same dress as before. The dress Taylor wanted.
"How do you do it ?" Taylor whispered in the dark, the moon casting a soft glow on the side of her face, her eyes shining with unshed tears.
"How do I do what ?" Darkness chuckled, now propped up on her elbows, staring at the ceiling too. The ceiling was painted white just like the rest of the room. Light blue curtains were drawn back, allowing the moonlight to enter the room. Next to the window was a small lamp table, it looked out of place and then there was the huge vanity table which had a large, round mirror above it. The bed was placed opposite to the wardrobe's door. The furniture looked so out of place.
That's exactly how Taylor felt, out of place.
"Be this person. Be you. You're always so confident, you do things that a normal person would never even think of doing and then you don't even regret it." Taylor's voice cracked a bit. Her emotions were getting the best of her.
"I'm the confidence that you want to have in yourself but sadly, the confidence you did used to have in yourself is now with me. Locked deep inside of me, it's going to take you some time to get it back." Darkness sat up straight and looked down at Taylor as she looked up at her with tears in her eyes.
"But that doesn't mean I can't help you." Darkness for the first time smiled a pretty, genuine, caring smile.
"W-what ?" Taylor rasped out sitting up straight too.
"You want Harry. Take him." Darkness smirked with a simple shrug.
"But how ?"
"Lets start with getting rid of that b*tch." Darkness skipped over to the door with a dark grin on her face and clapped her hands together like a child.
"Let's have some fun!" She laughed loudly and motioned Taylor to walk towards her. Taylor did just that, as if compelled to do so.

"Can I come in ?" Taylor asked softly as she stood in front of Lillian at the door of Harry's childhood room.
"You don't need to ask me, Taylor." Lillian laughed as she jerked her head in the direction of the room, smiling at Taylor, waiting for her to walk in.
"It's just as it used to be, the room I mean." Taylor croaked out as she looked around the room, memories flooding her mind.
"Raine said she expected Harry to run from the University and come back here." Lillian said with a laughing smile on her face and sat on the bed and picked up the necklace that was placed on the bed.
"Can I help you with them ?" Taylor asked, staring at the necklace in Lillian's hands.
"Y-yea," Lillian stuttered, surprised.
Taylor smiled, a big wide smile. A smile so fake it could put Kim Kardashian's butt to shame.
Taylor sat next to Lillian and took the necklace rom her hand and proceeded to wrap it around Lillian's neck.
"Choke her and end it all." Darkness whispered, Taylor's head whipped to the direction of the voice and gasped as she saw nothing but the window.
"Is something wrong ?" Lillian asked as she touched Taylor's hand that was on the back of Lillian's neck.
"N-no, just trying to clasp the necklace. It's beautiful." Taylor changed the subject quickly and clasped the necklace hurriedly.
"All done!" Taylor said with fake enthusiasm.
"Thank you," Lillian said with a nod and Taylor smiled, getting up from the bed Taylor walked towards the door of the room with her hands wringing together.
"Did you come here to talk to me about something, Taylor ?" Lillian asked with a sigh and stared at Taylor's back.
"No reason, just wanted to talk to you, that's all." Taylor said and continued to walk towards the door and as she reached the door Lillian let out a breath she was holding and said the words Taylor thought she'd never hear.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for what I did two years ago, I blame myself for what happened that day. I'm sorry that I almost broke your friendship." Lillian muttered and Taylor gasped. Turning around, Taylor stared at Lillian, surprised.
"W-what ?" Taylor choked out, her hands suddenly feeling clammy.
"this invisible line between you and Harry is because of me and I'm truly sorry for that. I-I was a naive girl when I did those things. I didn't mean to do it. At all. I mean, we were in school and I was stupid." Lillian said and looked down at her hands.
"I hope you'll forgive me. Someday if not today." Lillian smiled a sad smile, Taylor's heart beat tattooed her chest, she felt suffocated.
"I'm- I am sorry for what I said. I'm sorry for punching Harry too." Taylor said quietly and Lillian let out a laugh. "He deserved it for being a jerk." Lillian shrugged and Taylor let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"I-I should go and leave you to get ready." Taylor hurried out of the room as if she was being chased by a dog.
Taylor closed the door of the room she was staying in and it slammed shut behind her.
"You had one thing to do, a simple thing and the coward that you are, backed down." Darkness startled Taylor, making her jump.
"She was, is sorry." Taylor whispered.
"But she still have Harry!" Darkness yelled.
"And Harry loves her!" Taylor finally found her voice and yelled back.
"Y-you b*tch, you're going to end up alone. You're going to end up in a dark alley somewhere or maybe you're just gonna end up in a mental asylum just like your mother wanted you to. Maybe you'll end up killing yourself, who knows ? But what I do know is that you'll end up destroying yourself!" Darkness' anger finally got the best of her as she yelled and stood chest to chest with Taylor.
"You either end Lillian yourself or I'll end her myself." Darkness hissed as Taylor just stood there with tears streaming down her cheeks.
Taylor's shoulders slumped down as she stared at Darkness. Harry's face flashed in front of Taylor's eyes, him smiling down at Lillian being the image that just didn't seem to go away.
"I won't do it," Taylor said as she stared at Darkness with a sad smile on her face.
"I give up. Harry loves Lillian and he's happy with her and that is what matters the most. I-I was stupid. God, I was so stupid to do the things I've done. The men I've hurt, the d-dog, oh my god, the dog." Taylor panicked as she paced back and forth while Darkness seethed in anger.
"I-I need help." Taylor finally breathed out the three words she was avoiding.
Darkness smirked as she stared at Taylor dropped down on the floor and cried. Taylor was finally submitting without even knowing it, without even meaning to.
That's when Taylor succumbed to Darkness.
For she, herself was Darkness.
