"I'm sorry if I got you all emotional with what I just said. But plea...."

"Its OK. You're right.... I mean look at you...you already.. know me so well",Jasmine said between sobs interrupting Raymond mid sentence.
"You've read me so well within a short period of time we've met", she paused from her sobs and look into his eyes and continued. "Tell me,what are you Raymond to have known me this well?", she asked.

Ray grin at her and shrugged his shoulders. "Let's just say....I took much interest in you that I could never imagine that's why I got to know you that well. If only you could open my heart and see how deep and wide your love has drowned me,only then you'll realize how much of a pearl you are to me", he said touching her chin while his lips were closer to hers.

Jasmine swallowed the lumps in her throat and smiled. "I have something to say", she started.

"Go ahead with it, my love", he encouraged.

"I....I...i...already forgive my mum right here in my heart", she paused and saw his face lit up but he didn't say a word,he only gave a nod for her to continue. "I'm ready to accept her as my mum into my life but its not gonna be easy to accept her fully though. Its gonna be a gradual process thing", she added calmly.

"I know my love,I know. You have all the time in the world to heal. But what matters most is for you to make it known to her that you've forgiven her. Would you do that, my love?", he asked.

She raised her hand and placed it on his that was still caressing her cheek. "Yes,I will", she answered with a smile.

"You're an angel! Thank you", he said with relief and kisses her lips and then her forehead.

"I should be thanking you. Thank you for being so kind,understanding and.....huff. Words can't express how grateful I am to have you in my life", she replied pressing her forehead on his.

"Awwn. Those words are so good to hear. I wish I could hear them often", he said with a wide grin.

"Of course. Get ready to hear more than that from me quite often,my Darling", she replied with a giggle and kissed his lips slowly.

"My love we should get going now. I don't need your dad to visit the nearest police station or a TV station", he said waggling his brows after their kiss.

Jasmine chuckled. "You're silly." She commented smacking him lightly on his chest while he laughed.

He stood up and helped her up to her feet. Ray led her out of the beach to where his car was packed.

An hour later,they were both seated in his car in front of Jasmine's house. "Thanks for making my night a great one", he said to her with their hands entwined.

"Thank you too for making me your woman", she replied with a smile flashing her dimples.

Ray smiled back at her and his lips reached for hers. He devoured her lips that tasted like vanilla ice cream while she took in his that had a taste of honey.

A knock on the windshield of the passenger's seat where Jasmine was sitting startled them.

Ray frowned at the sight of him while Jasmine just smiled coolly at him. It was no other than their favorite gatekeeper, Emmanuel.

"Does this boyfriend of yours have to show up whenever something so great is taking place between you and I?", Ray asked with an eye rolling.

Jasmine snorted and smack his arm. "He's not my boyfriend. Or maybe he is?", she asked with a grin given a second glance at Emmanuel who was still standing there waiting impatiently for the windshield to be wind down.

"Well,he can be your boyfriend while I'm your fiancée. But if I see him near you I'll... I'll...."

"Cut off his head?", she suggested with a chuckle.

"I think I'll do more than that if he dares kiss this lips of yours that is meant for me alone", he replied with a smirk and brought his lips closer to hers for another kiss.

Jasmine sat there speechlessly and stared at him.

He withdrew from her and stretched his hand to the backseat in search of something. His hand found it and he carried it.

"Here,take this. I'm sorry I haven't given you flowers all this while we've known each other. But right now and right here I'm presenting this bouquet of flowers to you", he said presenting it to her.

Jasmine took it from his hand with broad smiles and blush flashing on her face. She sniffed the fragrance of the flowers. "I love it,it's so beautiful and smells so nice", she commended.

"Its smells like you, my love. This flower is called daffodils. Its one of the beautiful flowers I've ever set my eyes on and also fell in love with it for so long. Although this are the artificial of it but I made sure it had same fragrance like the original", he said.

"I still love them", she replied.

"I'm glad you do. Can I have another ki....."

A loud knock on the windshield startled them cutting Ray mid sentence. Ray growled at that glaring daggers at Emmanuel.

"I'm...so...sorry. I got to go now. We'll talk when you get home", she replied with chuckles and pecked him on his cheek before she opened the door and got out while Ray waved a goodbye to her before he drove out of their sight.

"I never knew you to be like that", Emmanuel said with a scowl as Jasmine took his hand to take him inside but he flinched from her hold.

"What do you mean,Emma? How am I?", she asked confusedly with a furrowed brow.

"You should know. Like the way I saw you with him in his car. This is not the first time and your dad has been worried over your whereabouts ", he said coldly.

Jasmine raised a brow at Emmanuel's reaction. "C'mon,Emma. What's up with your attitude? You of all people should have known something called love is going on between us and...", she paused when she saw the scowl on his face instead of a lit up expression.

"And what?", he drawled as his gaze bored on her.

"And...look at", she said flashing her fingers for him to see the ring on it.

"He proposed to you and you said yes?", he asked with a dropped jaw and wide eyes.

"Yes he did,Emma. I'm so excited to be his and his alone!", Jasmine exclaimed with excitement and giggled as she fiddled with the ring.

"Arrgh!!" Emma yelled as he stumped his foot on the gate with anger and ran his fingers through his hair.

"Emma? What's wrong?",she asked worriedly and those smiles that was on her face disappeared.

Emmanuel didn't respond to her question,instead he started walking away from her sight.

"Emma,please wait. Why are you this way? I thought you should be happy for me that I finally found love. Why..."

"Happy?", Emmanuel asked stopping at his track and turned to face her. She nodded calmly. "Indeed? Of course I am", he replied with a laughter and started walking away leaving puzzled Jasmine standing there.

"Emma?", she called again following him behind.

"Just leave me alone!", he yelled at her  sending shivers to her.

Jasmine stood there awestruck at Emmanuel's attitude towards her.
