Ray stood there avoiding eyes contact with Jessica. "Hey,I'm so sorry, I was just...."

"Flirting with me?", she completed. "I know that already. Right from the start when you picked me up I knew it all. I know you were doing that to get her jealous, and it was really a nice shot." She said with a smirk.

"Really? How did you know I was flirting around with you just to get her jealous?", Ray asked with a raised brow.

"I saw it all,dude. And I'll say she does really like you. She actually felt jealous with all you were doing. I saw it in her eyes,her countenance as well. Well I don't want to talk much right now. You love her don't you?", she asked.

"Yes I do", he answered.

"Then stop standing there and go search for her." She instructed and Ray gave a bow before running out of her sight.

After a long search, he found her at the fountain side of the garden at the back of the mall and he felt so relieved.

He ran to her and hugged her from behind. He held her like that for some moment before whispering. "I'm so sorry if i hurt you. But just know this...", he paused and turned her around to face him and then cupped her face into his hands and stared straight into her eyes.
"I think I'm in love with you."

Jasmine heart was beating so fast and the butterfly in her stomach skipped on hearing that.

"Talk to me, Mi amor. Don't just stare at me like that with those eyes of yours, its making me more nervous." He said.

She blushed on hearing that. A smile broke to her face and slowly, she removed her right hand from his and placed it gently on his cheek. She let her emotions do the talking. She moved her lips closer to his face and placed a kiss on his lips letting it to linger for a moment.

"I don't really know what I feel right now. But all I know is,I really do like you a lot." She replied quietly with a smile.

Ray removed his hand from hers. "Thanks for liking me. I know someday it'll turn to love not just like." He replied kissing her forehead and pulled her close for a tight hug that made Jasmine beg to live. He released her and used his two hands to cupped her face.

"I'm sorry if the hug was suffocating, its just because I'm so excited. Jessica was right after all when she told me you liked me.  I doubted her when she said that because of your attitude toward me. she should be a foreseer." He said and chuckled.

"Seriously, how did she know that?." She asked with curiosity in her eyes.

"Well, your facial expression when she referred you as her to be sister in-law, and also when you frown at her for calling me 'my ray'. She saw it all,babe." Ray explained making both of them to laugh out loud.

"Really? She must be a bad girl to have read me that much." She replied with a chuckle and Ray joined her.

"So,let's have a drink for our love to each other." He said with a grin and Jasmine gave a nod. He handed her a can of the Heineken drink and he took his as well.

"To our love." He said and both of them cheers to that with a giggle.

"How about we do justice to this chicken laps?". She asked winking at him.

"It wouldn't cost a thing, babe." He replied with a grin and so both of them dig into the chicken laps.

Couple of minutes later they were done with the chicken and have taken two cans of Heineken each. They were both relaxing. Jasmine placed her  head on his shoulder while Ray wrapped his arms around her shoulders and places his chin on her head.

He dig out his phone from his pocket and checked the time. His eyes widen with surprise when he saw what time it is.

"10.20pm!" Ray exclaimed making Jasmine to jolt from his shoulders.

"What!." She exclaimed as well.

"Yeah. Its past ten. And where we are coming from is two hours or an hour and forty five minutes drive." He said.

"Meaning we'll get home by 12am?." She asked with her eyes wide open.

"I'm afraid so." He responded.

"Oh. What are we going to do now?." She asked looking panicked and drowsy as well.

"Not to worry. I'll take care of that. I'll make sure I get you back safe and sound. OK?." He said and she gave a nod.

"Alright then. Let's not waste much time,let's get going immediately." He said standing up from the wooden bench he was sitting.

Jasmine stood up as well and found herself wanting to fall off before Ray catches her into his arms.

"Are you OK?". He asked looking into her face.

" I-i don't think so. I feel tipsy." She replied with a groggy tone.

"Oh. I'm sorry I got you drunk. I didn't know you'll get tipsy with two cans. What was I even thinking when I allowed you to take two cans?." He said and huff.

"C'm-on. I-ts not y-o-ur f--au-lt." She said with a giggle.

"I'm sure it is. Well,let's leave that for now. Can you walk out on your own to the car? Is not like I'll leave you to walk all by yourself, your arm will be on my shoulders for support? How about that?." He asked still holding her in his arms.

"N-no. I don't w-ant to go home. I wanna st-ay right here with y-ou." She replied giggling.

Ray huff again. He knew this was way out of it,she was really tipsy. "I'll give you a picky-back to the car. So get right on my back so we can leave this place." He said to her.

"N..no. I want to stay here." She said again in grogginess.

Ray knew its pointless wanting to argue with her when she's already tipsy. So he carried her and placed her on his shoulder, and then he picked the nylon back that was containing the cake and headed outside the mall. Despite the hitting he was receiving from her on his back for him to put her down,was in vain. At the end of it she gave in and decided to lay her head quietly and drown into sleep.

Ray watched her sleep under the covers of her bed in the hotel. "I love you so much, Jasmine. I hope you love me the same way." He whispered to himself and kissed her forehead leaving his lips to linger there a bit before removing it. He raised his head slowly from her face in order for her not to wake up,but he ended up finding his lips placed on hers.

He was shocked to see that happen. Jasmine had pulled him to a kiss which made his lips and hers lingering to each other. Though he was surprise,but he kissed her back. They finally broke the kiss but their eyes were locked on each other.

"How the hell did you do that? I mean, I thought you were asleep?". He asked still stunned at what just happened.

"Well,I was. But I'm awake now. Your kiss on my forehead woke me up." She replied with a smile touching his face.

"Oh. I see. How are you feeling now? Still dizzy?". He asked taking her hand and kissed it.

"I guess I'm OK now." She answered.

"You guess? Which means it's still not clear. Go back to sleep then,by morning you'll be fine." He replied stroking his hand in her hair.

"Hmm. A kiss and a lullaby will drift me into sleep faster." She said sheepishly looking away.

Ray grin at her and said. "Really? A kiss and a lullaby?."

"Y-yeah." She replied giggling at him.

"Oh. OK." He said and placed his lips on hers. This time around their kiss was deeper. From sucking of the lips to the tongue. He started rubbing her arms down to her body. He started placing kisses on her neck to her chest and he could hear her moans.
Suddenly, he pulled away from her.

He covered his face with his palms in embarrassment. "I'm sorry,Mi amor. I didn't mean to do that. I'm really sorry." He said in a remorseful tone and ran his fingers through his hair.

"You are sorry? What are you sorry for?." She asked staring at him.

"You are not upset I started doing those stuffs to you?". He asked staring at her with surprise.

"No. Why should I be? Although I haven't done this with anyone not even a kiss. But I felt comfortable while you kissed and touched me." She admitted.

"Really? Which means you are pure? A virgin?". He asked widening his eyes in surprise.

"Yes of course!". She answered firmly, at the same time she felt shy as well.

Ray raised a brow. "Wow. Interesting. I'm glad I didn't push further with you few minutes back." He said and there was silence between them. After the long silence Ray spoke up.

"Uhmm. Can I sing the lullaby now so you could sleep?". He asked breaking the tensed atmosphere.

"Yeah. Sure." She replied with a smile.

"OK. But let me say this,my voice isn't good. My singing voice is terrible. So don't laugh too hard while I sing, OK?". He asked taking her hand into his and holding on to it.

"Ugh. OK." She replied with a grin and wondered how a cutie like him could have a husky voice. 'His speaking voice is cool which always melted her heart whenever she hears it. That was part of the things she loves about him. His laugh,the way he touched her few minutes ago was the best feeling she'd ever had.' She jolted out of her thoughts on hearing him sing. His voice got into her. It was the loveliest voice she had ever had. 'How can he be sweet in all aspect?'.She wondered and then she let her mind to be on the song he was singing make her to blush so hard.

"I've found a love,for me. Darling just dive right in,follow my lead.
I found a girl beautiful and sweet. I never knew you were that someone waiting for me. We were just kids when we fell in love,not knowing what it was, I'll not give you up this time.

Baby I..I'm dancing in the dark,with you between my arms...." He continued singing 'perfect by Ed Sheeran and she drifted off into sleep.

He covered her the blanket and kissed her forehead before leaving to his bed. He smiled to himself over and over again. Right now,he couldn't explain how happy he was. He tossed around several times at the thoughts of Jasmine loving him back. That feeling of being loved back was overwhelming to him. The kiss they shared and the hugs was all in his mind before he finally drifted into sleep as well.

The next morning,Jasmine woke up before Ray. She watched him sleeping soundly on his bed and she smiled. She flashed back to the last thing that happened between them last night before she had slept off. Her smiles widened when she remembered that lovely song he sang to her before she drifted into sleep.

"Smile is a good way to start a day. But may I know while your smiles broaden in this manner?". Ray asked, haven't watched her smiling.

She got startled and put up a frown. "Ugh. N-nothing. I thought you were sleeping? Has it been long you've been watching me?."

"Not long enough. Would like to see more of the smiles if you don't mind. So please, show me. Its boost me up for the day ahead." He said adjusting his pillow to rest his back.

Jasmine flushed when she heard that and then she looked away.

"C'mon. You should be happy to have someone like me that wants to see your smiles." He said winking at her.

She rolled her eyes and gave a snort before throwing the pillow at him which he dodges.

"Mi amor,te amor." He said to her and that sentence got her smiling. "- you see? You voluntarily smiled at me after begging for your smiles all this minutes." He added grinning at her.

"You sure know that's a lie. I didn't just smile at you. You said something that got me smiling." She replied with a pout.

Ray chuckled and said. "Its the same sweetie. Now go brush your teeth and have your bath. Your cake is waiting for you to do justice to it like you do say." And both of them laugh at that. She stood up and went to the bathroom leaving him in the room.

I choose 'perfect by Ed Sheeran' to be used as the lullaby song for Jasmine because I love it so much. Its one of my favorites song. *winks*. And for those that don't understand my Spanish words, "Mi amor means my love.
