Oh My God!

OH MY GOD!

He just said that. He just said the L-word to me. Please tell me I heard it right. But why? I tried to kill him and he says that. In that case I should have tried to kill him earlier. I opened my mouth to speak but all that came out was air.

"You don't have to say it back. And don't ask me why? I just do." He shyly smiled.

Do I love him? I don't know yet. I really really like him. But love? I don't know...

"Stefan, I tried to kill you." 

"I don't care okay. And even if you did try to kill me, you ended up saving my life. If you weren't there that time, Kevin would have fooled me and then kill me." I flinched at that thought. 

"Stefan-" "I know you might think it's too early but I have loved you since the day you punched at the beach. I was just stupid to ignore it. And if anyone that has to apologize it's me. I hurt you. I almost killed you. I couldn't see you like that. When Selena removed that mask from your face, my whole world stopped. Literally. You have to promise me you are never leaving me."

"I am never leaving you." And with that I pressed my lips against him. He immediately responded, smirking against my lips. Who knew the cold-hearted Stefan would be so romantic? 

"I missed you." I said as we parted.

"I missed you too." He smiled as he kissed me forehead.

"So, the Kings huh?" I smirked.

"The Elites huh?" He teased me back.

"But you know it is not going to be easy right? We are from two rival gangs." I reminded him.

"Then it's good that we are the leaders. We can bend some rules." He chuckled. I just shook my head and chuckled to myself.

"You have a killer aim, you know?" Stefan praised me. 

"Hmm. I didn't know." I smirked.

"And it's f*cking hot." As soon as he said this, my face heated up. I quickly slid inside the covers to hide my red face. I heard Stefan chuckle.

"You look cute when you blush." I heard him chuckle.

"Shut up!" I rolled my eyes under the covers even if he didn't see it.

"Guys, he is awake." Selena came into my room and announced.

It has been five days since I woke up. In these five days, I spent most of my time with Stefan. I finally cried my heart out about never seeing my mom again. I even talked to Ethan about why he broke up with Shirley. He didn't give me any proper reason but I won't force him to. And finally, I was being discharged today. Well, I think it might have to wait. My hands are itching to choke Kevin. And now that he is awake, I can't wait to have all the answers. 

"Princess, we don't have to talk to him right now. We could wait for a few days so that you get to enjoy your first day out of the hospital." Stefan suggested.

My bruises were not quite healed but the painkillers were kicking in and I was feeling quite good. Yes, I wanted to enjoy my day out of the hospital. But I was very anxious for my answers.

"Getting the answers is all the enjoyment I need." I answered.

"Is it bad that I am kind of getting scared of the Elites side of yours?" He sheepishly asked.

"You better be."  I smirked as I secretly slid a physician knife into my sleeve. You never know when a knife can come handy. "Let's get some answers."

We made our way to Kevin's room. His eyes snapped towards the door as soon as we entered. 

"Hey guys! How are you doing? All well?" He asked.

"Stop beating around the bush. And get to the point. You know why we are here." I glared at him.

"Man. She is scary." Ryan whispered behind me. "I know." Stefan whispered back. I just turned around and gave them a look that said 'shut up if you don't want to be eaten as my dinner.' I wanted answers. What did I ever do to him that he had to take my mom away from me?

"I hope you don't have guns with you." He smugly said.

"You should be thankful about that." I rolled my eyes. 

"Well, you might have understood by now that I hate you. All of you." He glared at us.

"Why? We were best friends man." Ryan glared at him.

"I never thought of you guys to be my best friends. I hated you guys. Want to know why? It was because of you Thompson. It was always you." He glared at him.

"The Kings was never meant to be yours. It was my Grandfather's. But my grandfather did not think that my father was capable of handling it. So it went to your dad. But your dad should have passed it on to me. Not you. It was rightfully mine. And you took it away." He shouted, making Lena flinch beside me. 

I could feel Stefan's temper rising. As soon as he was about to hit Kevin, quickly held his hand, calming him down. He looked at me with fire in his eyes. I just nodded, telling him to wait till we get all the answers.

"But then why my mom?" I glared at him.

"Have patience Princess. We will get to that part." The way he called me 'Princess' made me feel like I had to vomit. 

"Don't you dare call her that." Stefan glared.

"So the great Stefan Thompson becomes the gang leader of The Kings. And that's when I decide to take revenge. I joined the Blacks and slowly advanced to be their leader. They were smart enough to recognize my potential. Unlike you." He smirked.

He is the Leader of the Blacks. He killed Emma. That familiar voice I heard was his. My anger crossed it's limit and I left Stefan's hand and punched him in the face. Lena immediately pulled me back before I could do any further damage.

"You a*shole." I spit.

"You punch like a girl. Remember the time we spent in the warehouse?" He smugly asked. I just glared at him.

"Then the day we were at the beach, we met Vanessa there. As soon as she punched Stefan, I knew she was something different. And I started to like her. But she was so busy hating Stefan, that she never noticed me. That's why I started dating Tessa. To keep a close eye on her." He smirked.

"You monster." It was Lena's turn now. She punched him, square in his jaw. As a result, Kevin spit out some blood on the floor.

"You guys have to stop hurting me if you want some answers." He glared at us.

"I did some background runs on Vanessa and found out about that she was the adopted daughter leader of the Elites. I also observed how close Vanessa here got to Stefan's sister Emma. Emma knew all about the Kings and she also knew the fact that Vanessa hated Stefan. So she kept her relation to Stefan secret from Vanessa and her friendship with Vanessa secret from Stefan. Man. That girl knew how to keep her secrets. And I knew exactly how I could take my revenge and hurt both Stefan and Vanessa." He smirked. 

"You killed her." Stefan growled, taking a step forward towards Kevin and this time I did not stop him. After throwing a few punches, Ryan pulled Stefan back. I was surprised that Kevin hadn't been knocked out by now.

"I was satisfied by my revenge from Vanessa. But Stefan was still irritating me. I wanted to destroy him. So, I set my aim at his younger sister and brother. I tried to kidnap them. But Vanessa here somehow saved them. I even placed the bomb at their birthday party. But again this person saved everyone. I was fed up with you." He glared at me.

"The Knights were rivals of the Elites for a long time. They wanted revenge. The Leader of the Knights hated you. He even attacked the school to catch you off guard and kill you. But Stefan destroyed his plan. Somehow, The Knights found out about what I had done to both of you. And we decided to join forces to end you both." He smirked. 

Why did the Knights hate us? We never did anything to them. Why do I feel there is more to the story than what he is saying?

"I wanted to kill both of you. But the leader of the Knights had some different plans. And I went through with them. Oh! How much I enjoyed shooting Ethan." He smugly said. 

I clenched my fist in anger, ready to punch him. He is not allowed to say like that about me or my family. But as soon as I was about to hit him, someone grabbed my arm. I turned around to see that hand belonged to Stefan. 

"He is already bleeding. If we want any more answers, we need to calm ourselves." He whispered. I, unfortunately, had to agree with him.

"Then I also spread the rumor that Vanessa kissed me. You should have seen the anger in Stefan's eyes. Though the plan failed, I found a reason to break up with Tessa. She was no fun anyways. But then the best thing happened. You guys started dating. It just made the Knights' plan easier." He smirked. 

"I went to Australia. No one even suspected me there as most of them knew I was your friend. Even your mom fell for my act. I went inside and tied her up. Then I lit the house on fire." He shrugged.

By now, my blood was converted to fire. I couldn't bare seeing his face. Stefan wrapped his arms around me, trying to calm me down. Though it was helping me calm down, it was of no much help.

"Why me? Why my mom? What had she ever done to you?" I shouted. 

"That, dear, you should ask your-" Before he could complete his sentence, we heard a gun shot. We looked down to see Kevin shot in his head. He was dead. We all turned only to see the person I never in my lifetime expected to see holding a gun and shooting someone.

"Brother." Ethan smirked.
