8. Flat-faced darling
- Sebastian-
Did I ever mention how much I adore Saturday? I don't think I did. Well, then I am enchanted by Saturday.
I grabbed the basketball and threw it in the hoop. It was Saturday afternoon and I was in front of my house playing basketball alone.
It bounced off and Jack caught it.
"Hey," he threw it in the hoop and it got in, "S. "
"Why're you here?"
He shrugged. "Sorry... for yesterday. Just here to throw some hoops." I ignored him and threw the ball in. It missed again. He grabbed it as it was falling and threw it through the hoop, it got in.
He smirked, " How is it possible that a soccer star is better than a basketball player at basketball?"
I cracked my knuckles, a sign of pure determination. "I am doing it on purpose. Trust me you will eat your words!"
My determination: to prove Jacks wrong.

Reality got in the way of my determination and Jack won. At least I got a packet of onion flavoured chips (my favourite) but he still won.
"So now I won, give me your maths."
"No, I am going to do it tomorrow."
He grabbed my chips but he gave it back. "Do you have any fish?"

I left after S didn't have any fish or math homework. I wasn't sorry anymore.
I hummed as I walked home. After spending the day with S I was tired and walking home.
I was enjoying my long and lonely walk when I was whacked in the face in with thick brown hair. "Watch it!"
"Watch where you're going! Flat-face."
I stopped in my tracks and looked at the girl. She had M.B on her tekkie heels. She flipped her hair again and secretly I wanted to rip out her ponytail and see if she would still flip it.
"Stop bein' a stalker, flat-face." Flat-face? Flat-face? I have been called a lot of bad things but never flat-face!
"Have you tried a mirror?"
She gasped holding her chest and staring at me with hatred and confusion. I must admit that look was much better than her other look.
"I would be thinking of a come back but you aren't worth it, darling."
"Would you like to know something?" she stared at me. I smiled and whispered, "You're messing with the wrong jock, darling." I mocked as I slowly walked away feeling like I won. Two times in a row.
I am a champion.
I still felt like a champion when I got home. It smelt like burnt cookies when though there was a fresh batch in front of the ladies of the book club. I went up to my room and settled on my bed.
I read through Instagram before receiving a message from Brandon.
B: wuz bro
J: leave me alone.
B: u asked 4 it.
J: *goes offline*
And I was about to but he sent a message.
B: No, no. Got perfect revenge plan.
J: huh
B: For S. Remember Friday.
B: Trust me it's perfect.
I smiled at his words. And rubbed my hands. Evilly.
B: hello? Did ya go offline
J: Yea am here
Yes, it was a short chapter and yes it is late so I am sorry. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Who do you think is the girl Jackson met? I would love to hear your thoughts
