Whatever Ika has involved me in this time, I was going to fight.

What did she call it again,“a little competition,”

Yeah right, if Jackson and Ika are both involved in this, it's definitely NOT little, especially since she knows of our competitive nature.

I was heading towards English. Nobody was ever early for English, not even the teacher, so I wasn't shocked that the class was empty with only two people inside. In fact, I was running late. Ika waved me over to her desk.

"Can you believe it? Diksie made a..."

"You aren't gonna throw me off like that. You owe me an explanation."

"Pfft, you are a vibe killer. Do you always kill vibes? You do; when I need you to be bubbly and nice, you are serious." She answered her own question.

"So?"

There was silence besides Nelly's typing noises. The typing noises must have must Ika in unease because her face  slowly twitched into a nervous smile. " You see? It's a little hard to explain with you so serious."

I sat on my seat, and she sat on my desk.
She held out her pale pinky. "Promise me you won't kill me?"

Just then a 'big manly' guy (his words, not mine) appeared and said,"Um... so we'll give you the list later today. Hi Arie.”

"List?" Explain how something can have a list and still be called: little.

"The list is for the deal. The one that me, Ika, Brandon and Jackson made."

"You made a deal?"

"Go die in a hole." Ika glared, “Anything you else?”

"No, um I don't, um... think there's anything else."

She shooed him like he was a fly. Poor guy walked away.

“Ika, tell me what you wanted to tell me."

"He kinda said it.” She took in a deep breath before fully regaining her composure. "Before you hit me, you promised you wouldn't hit me.
So this deal is a little bit more complicated than just a list. It is a deal that we made to prove that we are better. So we give each other lists to do." By this time she was smiling.

"That's hilarious, you'll be competing with Sebastian."

"I won't be doing it alone.

"Will Skylar be joining you?"

"No, and it's not Leone.” I was confused.
“Do you remember when I mentioned the competition to you?”

I nodded.

She rubbed her palms together and smiled.
