Emma's POV

"What the f*ck man"Brendon glared at Eric,holding his jaw. "You gonna be a p*ssy or are you going to fight back" Eric said to Brendon as I stood here, frozen.

"No, stop both of you" I yelled, before grabbing Brendon's hand and pulling him away from Eric. "And Eric, go f*ck yourself" I said, then walked towards the exit with Brendon.

My poor waffle.. ugh.

After we got into Brendon's car, we sat there is silence. " Damn" Brendon finally said, breaking the silence. "I know right, what the hell is wrong with him? 'Oh Emma, I thought we had something special' ugh that idiot" I said, mocking Eric." by the way, is your jaw okay?" I asked.

" Yeah, it's fine, whatever, let's forget about him and go somewhere." Brendon said."Where?" I asked. "Anywhere you want" Brendon said.

"Hm.. I don't know.."I said, thinking for a moment. "Let's just go to my house?" I suggested, as Brendon shurgged. "Okay, we can stay there until its time to go to the laser tag." Brendon said, as I nodded in agreement.

The ride to my house was silent. We didn't turn on the radio either.

We went inside, and went up to my room. Brendon laid down on my bed while I spun around on my spinning chair.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked Brendon. " Oh, I know exactly what I want to do, but you wouldn't so you decide." Brendon smirked.

Guys. *Que the eyeroll*

"Uh, we could..read?" I asked, Brendon scrunched his face and shook his head. I laughed, already knowing he was going to react this way. "I'm joking." I tell him.

" I got an idea!!" Brendon yelled as I sat up straight, and stopped spinning the chair and looked at him." Just kidding, I don't" Brendon said, as I slouched down, glaring at him.

"Ohhh, I know what we can do!"I exclaimed, getting an idea. "What is it?" He asked. "Its a game called Story Time, this is how you play. It's simple, really. One of us starts with a sentence, example, Once upon a time or something, then the next says a sentence to follow with the one before, and we keep going, taking turns until, we make a story." I tell him as He nodded with a smile. "Okay, let's do that then"He agreed.

" You start" I told Brendon as he nodded and thought for a moment before saying "It was late at night, a girl named uh.. Olivia was home alone." 

"Um.. Olivia heard glass break downstairs and got scared" I said.  "Being a dumbass, that all girls are, she decided to go check what it was." Brendon said, as I punched him on his arm. " When she went downstairs, she found a cute little stray puppy there, who had accidentally knocked down her mom's vase." I said. " When she went near the puppy, its eyes turned red and bit Olivia and she died, The End" Brendon ended it.

"Ugh, really? Let's start over." I told Brendon as he nodded. " I'll start. Uh. there was a boy named Max, he was at school" I began. " He was in class, staring at this beauiful girl named Olivia, from across the room, whom he liked." He continued. "Uh.. she had a crush on him too, but thought he didn't like her back at all" I said, randomly thinking of words.

" They were great friends, hung out together most the time, but they never admitted their feelings to eachother." Brendon said. " Max soon thought the only way to move on was to date someone else and push Olivia away." I said. "But Max didn't do that, he stayed friends with Olivia, refusing to date anyone else besides Olivia" Brendon said.

"Sadly, Olivia started dating another guy and felt as if  Max was drifting away" I said. "So Max, trying to get over her, avoided her and started dating another girl." Brendon said. "Soon realizing that Olivia could only like Max and no one else, she broke up with the guy she was dating" I say.

"But Max still avoided Olivia, trying hard to get over her." Brendon said.  "Soon, the girl was depressed, she got bullied even more, something she never told Max about, and all Max did was watch and laugh at her being tortured, and caring at all." I said, not noticing how I just completely f*cked up the story.

"Olivia's parents got divorced, and she was living with her dad, and he drowned himself in his work, not having the slightest clue of what his daughter was going through, and all along, Max wasn't there to help her" Brendon said. " One day, Max broke up with the girl, knowing he finally got over Olivia, he went to her house, and, rang the doorbell." I said.

" Olivia opened the door and got suprised but she was mad at him. They argued and Olivia ended up confessing by accident, and when she had realized what she had said, she slammed the door and went to her room." Brendon said. " Max realized his feelings for her were still there, and wasn't going to give up, so he climbed the window and went into her room, and begged her to forgive him, but she didn't" I said.

"Max ended up getting mad and said things that hurt her, and regreted it right after, he knew he didn't mean anything he had said" Brendon said.  "The boy left, knowing he had gone too far." I said. "The next day at school, Max was dating another girl, and Olivia was so hurt and felt unloved by everyone, even her parents didn't care, so she decided to end everything." Brendon said.

My eyes widened, I didn't think he would take that turn honestly. " She went home and sent a video to Max, pouring out everything she had kept inside, and said good bye." I said. " As soon as Max saw the video, he rushed to her house and found her laying in a pool of her own blood." Brendon said, I scrunched my face as he just shrugged.

" He cried, called 911 but when they came it was too late, the girl was gone forever. " I said. "The End" Brendon said.

"Wow, I didn't think the story would turn out like that.." I said, chuckling. "I know right, but we are good at this, we should write a book together." Bredon said as I laughed and nodded. "Wanna bake something?" I suggested, looking at the time. We still had like 4 to 5 hours left. "Sure, I'm good at baking and cooking," Brendon said, "Well, that's great! Because I suck at cooking" I said, walking out of my room with Brendon.

"So what are we baking?" I asked Brendon. " Cupcakes." Brendon said, as I clapped. 

I love cupcakes- actually, I pretty much love anything that's edible..

"Okay, since this is your house, and I don't know know where the stuff are, find me flour, butter, sugar, 2 eggs, milk, cocoa powder,  baking powder, and salt." Brendon said, as I just stared at him. I forgot half of what he just told me.

"Uh, we need to go shopping for some of those..because my dad has been busy all week, we didn't go grocery shopping for a while now" I said awkwardly. "Okay, let's go" Brendon said, picking up his car keys.

We went in his car and went to the nearest Walmart.

We arrived, and got a shopping cart at the entrance.  Right before Brendon started pushing the cart,I stopped him and jumped into the cart and sat down. "Okay.." He said, chuckling. He pushed me through the automatic door, and he started pushing the cart and heading towards the aisles where the ingredients were.

We got all the ingredients and decided to get some snacks. So currently we were in the candy and chips aisle.

"Emma, grab one chips bag." Brendon told me. I reached out of the cart and grabbed two chips bags from the shelf. "I said one, not two" Brendon said, but I still put them in the cart.

I ignore his comment and put the two chips bags with me in the cart. "Let's get marshmellows and jelly beans, and choclate and ice cre-" Brendon cut me off by covering my mouth and gave me an annoyed look.

Brendon's eye widened as I licked his palm, he quickly removed his hand and wiped it on his shirt and gave me a disgusted look. "Did you just lick my hand?" Brendon asked. I just smiled as he started laughing.

Brendon pushed the cart towards the cashier when we had finished getting all the snacks we wanted.

I got out of the shopping cart and helped Brendon put all the things we are buying onto the cashier table thing.

After Brendon paid, we went out, and towards the car. I slid into the passengers' seat and put on my seatbelt. Brendon went around and sat in the drivers' seat. The whole ride was silent, but it wasn't awkward, so I was okay with it.

 We arrived at my house and I helped Brendon carry the plastic bags into the house and to the kitchen. 

"Okay, so give me the flour and the rest of the stuff." I take out the flour and the rest of the ingredients needed for this chocolate cupcake recipe from th

I gave him the measuring cups as he began measuring the amount of the ingredients and putting them into a big white bowl, which is supposedly for mixing batters and stuff.

While Brendon was measuring the ingredients and stuff, I made sure to put the ice cream and other snacks into the fridge, except the chips and jelly obviously.

"Okay, now mix this while I go turn on the oven for a second.." Brendon told me, as I nodded taking the whisk and mixing the batter. I kept mixing as my arm started to ache from all the mixing. Brendon came and poked the batter and poked my nose after.

I wipe off the batter from my nose, and walked to a drawer and took out a spoon and dipped it into the batter. I looked at Brendon who gave me a weird look. I smirked and quickly put the spoon on his nose, and let go, but the spoon didn't fall off his nose, thanks to the batter.

I started laughing as Brendon got rid of the spoon and wiped the batter off his nose."You're lucky I want to eat cupcakes right now, or else I would have poured the etire batter over your head, so be happy" Brendon said as I laughed again.

We put the cupcake batter into the cupcake pan and put it in the oven. Brendon put the timer on and we went to the living room and sat down. We sat silently, watching this random movie on this tv channel.

"Hey, can I ask a question?" I asked, "You just did, but yeah sure." Brendon said. "What made you tell me sorry, that day we like 'met'.. And why did you follow me?" I asked as Brendon thought for a moment.

"Honestly,I said sorry because I laughed at you, when I should have helped you, and if I'm being honest, I knew you existed, kind of, I never completely noticed you before that day, but I heard rumors and sh*t and just assumed they were all true, thnking you're some stuck up nerd, with no problems in life." He said, looking down at his hand briefly and looking back up at me.

"But obviously, I was wrong, and I followed you because- actually, I don't really know, I just somehow got curious about you, out of now where, I know it's weird but something about you, just made me want to get to know you more." Brendon told me, as I nodded.  

 "Why did you ignore me that day? When I talked to you, but you just looked down and yeah " Brendon asked. Should I tell him? It isn't even a big deal, oh well.

"Mackenzie threatened me, she said if I talked to you, I would regret it, and that you guys were together or something, and how she wouldn't let me steal you or something, honestly, it was stupid, she actually thought you would pick me over her." I said, with a shrug.

"If only you knew that I would"I heard Brendon mumble.Just then the alarm of the oven rang, making me jump, Brendon started laughing about how it scared me, as we walked to the oven.

Brendon took out the pan from the oven and set them on the kitchen island. "Can you get me two piping bags?"Brendon asked as I nodded and went to go find it. 

I brought two and gave them to Brendon as he took out the white vanilla frosting we bought from the fridge. I helped put the frosting into the piping bags, then I got some sprinkles and put them in a small clear bowl.

"This is my favorite part" Brendon exclaimed as I agreed. We started frosting each cupcake, I took the piping bag and squeezed some frosting onto my finger and I poked Brendon's nose with it," stop it" Brendon said playfully, as he laughed but didn't do anything, because he was still frosting a cupcake.

I watched as he frosted the cupcake. His hand was steady, swirling the piping bag.

  "Perfect" I said, as Brendon and I finished frosting all the 9 cupcakes.  "Now let's eat" Brendon said, as I nodded eagerly.

 ...........

We were currently in the laser tag place, waiting for Becky, Theo, and Levi. After we had finished most of the cupcakes,  we just went to the park and talked while swinging and played the game Grounders.

 " Guys! We're here" Becky yelled,as Brendon and I turned around to find our friends walking towards us. " Hey guys!" I smiled and greeted them, and Becky gave me a hug. We all went inside and paid. 

"Okay, you kids can go to the room there to the right and get your laser uniforms" the man at the counter informed us as we thanked him and went to the room he told us to go to.

The lady there asked each of us to choose a color. I picked red, Becky picked green, Brendon picked yellow, Leci picked blue, and finally, Theo picked purple.

The uniforms weren't exactly clothes, it was more like a breast plate with a glowing circle in the center of the stomach part, the shoulders,  and the back.

The lady informed us that the glowing parts are where we have to aim at. Then she gave us guns, that had matching colors with our uniform.

"Everyone plays for themselves?" I asked. "Yup, now go down the hall and go to the room 4 and you'll be playing there. Have fun!" The lady said, as we all headed towards room 4.

We open the door and I gasped at the sight of the arena we were playing in. This place was awesome.

It kind of looked like a maze with many different glowing colors on the walls.

"This place is awesome-oh my god, guys what are we waiting for, let's go"Levi exclaimed excitedly as I laughed.

"You all have 10 seconds to find a place to hide and the game will start" a voice coming from the speakers said.

We all ran and scattered, as another voice, was counting down. I ran behind a wall and went down on my knees, holding my gun in position, so I can 'shoot' as soon as the count down stopped.

"5..4..3..2..1, The match begins" The voice said.

I slowly got up and peaked around from my hiding place.

I spotted a part of- Becky's shoes sticking out from behind a wall. I quickly and quietly went to her, and shoot her back as she turned around with widened eyes then tried to aim for the glowing circled on my uniform but failed, from behind me, Brendon shot me, I turned and shot his back.

I quickly went and hid behind a wall and peaked around and found Levi, his blue glowing circles were showing. I aimed at the back circle and Levi turned around after I shot him. "I coming for you!" Levi, as I quickly turned and ran through the maze and hid behind a wall.

"Boo" Someone whisphered into my ear as I let out a scream and turned to find Levi smiling innocently,  as I quickly try to run.

I turn to my left and took a step, just then I realized there was a wall in front of me.

My head hit the wall, as I dropped onto the floor.

My vision started going blurry, as darkness consumed me.

Hey y'all.

I know I said I would update soon, but figures I was much busier than I thought I would be. I had friends over, I went to the mall, and alot of other stuff.

So I'm sorry.

But I still tried to update as soon as possible, so don't hate me.I don't really like this chapter that much, but I just had to update, for you guys so I did.

Well, I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter!
