Emma's POV

I close the front door behind me and walked towards my room, even though it wasn't late, I just walked super quietly for some reason.

I go into my room, and found Becky on my bed, on her phone. I walk towards the bed and fell on Becky on purpose."Whoa, I was playing subway surfers, and I lost thanks, Emma," She groaned, tossing her phone across the bed.

"You still play that game? Its old and you're very welcome," I say, getting off of Becky. "So anyway, what happened? You don't look happy," Becky said, looking at me suspiciously.

"Well, you won't believe it.." I say, looking down at my blanket. "Tell me everything," Becky said.

"WHAT," Becky yelled, I could have sworn the whole neighborhood heard her yell." Calm down, its fine I guess, it's not like he is my boyfriend or something." I say, covering her mouth with my hands before she screamed again." You know what, who gives a shit about him, let's go find you some other dude that's worthy of your time." Becky says, straightening up.

"Did anything else happen?" She asks after a moment of silence." Well oh yeah, yes something did happen, Levi was on the same bus that I was in" I say simply. Becky's eyes widen and she looked like she was about to scream, so I quickly cover her mouth with my hand and shushed her again. "Tell me what happened." She says, grinning.

I told her everything and she said she wants to pick my outfit for my 'date' tomorrow, I kept telling her it's for homework and free food, but she kept insisting that it was a date since he is paying and stuff.

..

Beep.Beep.

I groan and tried to open my eyes. I move my hand to my side table and tried to find my phone with my eyes closed.

I finally feel my phone and grabbed it and turned it on.

Ouch.

I dropped my phone on my face, because of how bright my phone's screen was.

I groaned and rubbed my face and picked up the phone and dimmed the lighting and looked at the text.

Unknown: Hey, this is Levi, we are still planning the project today right?

Emma: Hey, you know we have school today right?

Levi: ya I do, but I'm bunking and so are you.

Emma: No I'm not.

I look at my alarm to find the time at 7:35 am. Oh my god. I have like 10 minutes to get ready and leave for school.

I quickly get up, "Becky wake up we are late, we've got 10 minutes " I yelled and ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower, I came out and, I then ran to my closet and threw on a white sweater, black jeans, and black vans.

I put them on, then plugged in my hairdryer, and dried my hair then I quickly brushed it and Becky insisted that I curled my hair a bit, but I didn't have time, so I tied my hair up in a bun, not very tight because it makes me uncomfortable.

I put my hand over my pocket and didn't feel my phone." Shit, I forgot my phone upstairs, I'll be right back" I say to Becky who was eating cereal.

I ran up and got my phone, I had 4 messages I quickly opened them.

Levi: hey, forgot to ask, where is your house?

Levi: I know its somewhere around the bus station you dropped off at yesterday.

Levi: hello?? U dead?

Levi: Emmmmmaa

Emma: Hey, I'm sorry I forgot my phone upstairs but wait, why do you need to know where my house is?

Just as I sent the message, I heard a loud honk outside, did he find my house? I run downstairs and grabbed my bag and opened the front door, Levi was in a Porshe 718 Baxter S car.

Holy fuck, it looks cool, don't they use these cars for racing and show or something?

Levi was leaning against his car outside waiting for Becky and I. We walked out of the house to his car and I sat in the passengers' seat, while Becky at the back. Wow, the inside was even better looking, even if there isn't a roof, I couldn't see the interior because of that uh roofless car covering thing.

Levi went around and came in the car and started the car, and gave me a smile and said "hey girls, you didn't tell me she was coming with us," Levi says to me while pointing at Becky.

"Hey! She is my best friend, if she isn't here I'm not coming with you either, but thanks for the ride and nice car," I said running my fingers on the armrest. It was smooth black leather, and the seat was like the comfiest car seat I've ever sat on.

"Anytime princess and thanks," he says, putting on his seatbelt. Why does he call me that? I tried to refrain from looking back at Becky because I knew she was fangirling silently. "Don't call me princess, I'm saying this again but I have a freaking name," I say, still admiring his car, I'm not a gold digger, I just never rode in such an amazing car.

"I don't care, I can call you whatever I want," He says, with a smirk plastered on his face."No, you can't," I snapped. Becky in the background started laughing. "It's too early in the morning, so don't start an argument please," Becky says, still laughing.

"It's Emma who started, and yeah, I can call you whatever I want and you can't do anything about it," he says, turning on the radio and making it pretty loud probably enough to make my ears bleed. I cover my ears and yelled, "Turn it down!"Becky started yelling at him too, for a second but then stopped, giving up.

He stuck his tongue out and covered the volume controller with his free hand, now driving with one hand. I grab his hand and tried to pull his hand off the controller, but his hand didn't flinch. Ugh. I didn't stop trying since I didn't want to go deaf.

"If you wanted to hold my hand that badly, you could have just asked, "Levi says turning to look at me for a second and then his focus went back onto the road.

What? Bitch no.

"No- wait -I don't- just lower the god damn volume," I say, removing my hand from above his." Ok calm down" he says and he lowered the volume of the radio and then what the heck, he grabbed my hand.

"Wha-" I try to say." Shh, I know you wanted to hold my hand this whole time, just be happy I agreed to let you" he says and looks at me. I give him an evil glare and pulled my hand back from his grip.

Levi and Becky just started laughing. Typical Becky, lovingly embarrassing me whenever she can. "Jerk," I muttered at Levi, rolling my eyes. "I know, I'm a hot jerk." He says, smirking. I roll my eyes again.

We finally arrived at school and I jumped out if his car before he could say anything else, I just waved and walked away with Becky.

"Hey," someone says out of nowhere. I slightly jumped and looked up to find Levi standing in front of me."hi, what are you doing here?" I asked I was in the library reading with no one bugging me since it was lunch and everyone was at the cafeteria.

"We are going out for lunch, remember the project?" He says, taking my bag off the couch and carrying it."We are not going to leave now, there is like 20 minutes left until lunch is over." I say, reaching for my bag but Levi just moved away.

"I told you, we are bunking now come on let's go before I have no choice but to drag you all the way to the car," Levi says.

I cross my arms over my chest. "Go ahead and try," I say, feeling quite confident that he would give up then.

"Ok," he says, shrugging and dropping my bag in the ground he came closer and carried me off the couch bridal style."Hey, let me go!" I say, hitting him on the chest.

"You told me to try so I am." He whispers into my ear, his breath was warm and it was minty. How do guys not have smelly breaths like ever?

My cheeks turn red and I glare at him." Let.me.go" I say trying to break free from his grip."Fine," he says dropping me straight onto the couch that I was sitting on before he decided to carry me.

He walks towards my bag and carried it once again, he turned around to face me and he had an evil smirk plastered on his attractive face.

Did I just call him attractive? Whatever.

I give him a questioning look and then out if now where he just starts running towards the exit of the library and darts out of the door.

No, he did not just take my bag and ran away with it.

I get up and grabbed my book and ran out of the library and down the hallways and out if the school to the parking area where Levi was, sitting in his car.

Ugh, I'm going to kill him for making me run all the way here, wait I won't just because he is getting me food.

I get in his car and slammed the door," where is my bag you idiot" I demanded."At the back" Levi says simply.

We finally arrived at a pizza hut after arguing about where to get lunch, I won. I was really craving some pizza.

We get out if the car and went inside and I went to a booth near the end of the restaurant and took a seat while Levi went to make our order.

He comes back after a while and took a seat next to me. I took out my laptop and set it open in front of us."Okay, so do you have a camera?" I ask looking at Levi. "Yeah, well yeah somewhere in my house I think," Levi says shrugging. "Do you?" He asked.

"Yup," I say, taking my Canon 70d that I had got as a gift from my dad's friend, out of my bag and putting it on the table.

"Okay, so what theme should we make our project be?"Levi asks. "It has to be pictures of nature, so what about a fall and winter theme since that's like the only choice we've got" I suggest.

"Yeah, okay since its fall now, we can take pictures of woods and stuff and then take pictures of snow and stuff when its winter and then make a presentation about it all and then present it." He says, just as the pizza came to our table.

We start to eat and joked around, Levi was a jerk, but he had his nice and fun side as well, and I definitely like the nice and fun side way more even though him being a jerk is kind of funny too.

After we ate, we left to Starbucks and I got vanilla bean crème frappuccino and Levi got double chocolate chip frappuccino and walked to a nearby park and started making plans for our project and he wouldn't stop joking around but I managed to get him to get serious.

Time flew way to fast when I realized the sun was setting and it was absolutely beautiful, I got my camera and took a few pictures to get the 'perfect' picture that maybe I can add to the presentation or keep it as a memory or something.

Wait what time is it?

I bunked school, and not just bunked one class I skipped the whole day after lunch.

Oh my god.

I grab Levi's wrist and looked at his watch, oh no, it was about 2 hours past the school ending time.

I let go and fished my phone out of my pocket and checked my phone and found 5 messages from Becky.

Becky: hey you bunked school, I'm so proud of you, finally living a little.

Of course, she is, she always told me to try living for once, since I was studying for hours a day, not breaking any rules at all, not going to parties, hanging out with other teenagers my age besides Becky, the list goes on and on.

Becky: School is over, you coming home yet?

Becky: hello??

Becky: You better tell me everything that ur doing when u get back

Becky: I'm going to Theo's house so I might not be home till like 10 or something. Byee

I put my phone in my pocket, and looked to my side where Levi was staring at me."Were you reading the texts?" I ask, raising an eyebrow. "Yup," he says.

Then there was an awkward silence and we were both staring at each other. Levi looks away and looked at his watch."We should get going, I'll take you home," Levi says.

"Okay," I say getting up from the bench and grabbed my bag and we walked towards Levi's car.

The car ride was fun, we were joking around and belting out lyrics of the songs Fake Love by Drake, Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd, and a few other songs that were playing on the radio.

We arrived at my house way too soon, I wanted this car ride to the last longer, it was fun. Levi parked the car and we climbed out if the car and as we were walking to my front door, I saw someone standing there.

As we got closer, the person turned around.

Brendon.

Brendon looks at me and then looks at Levi and his jaw clenched.
