Emma's POV

Brendon answered his phone, but he doesn't look at me. I try not to look at him either. Were we actually going to kiss? Ha, no way...right?

Obviously not. Who would want to kiss you?

You're so fucking ugly.

I hear Brendon talking and I'm guessing its Theo because Brendon asked if he had fun of his date. I get up to go to the bathroom to make sure my breath isn't terrible, because maybe its a sign from the universe telling me to brush my teeth before I kiss Brendon, you never know.

I go in the bathroom and brushed my teeth as quietly as possible so Brendon doesn't think I'm weird. Then I walk out and closed the door of the bathroom behind me then saw Brendon looking at his phone, then looked up at me, and gave me an awkward smile, or maybe its just awkward to me.

"Theo just called and he said he needed my help with stuff. So, I need to get going." Brendon says getting up and shoving his phone in his pocket." oh ok" I say, as Brendon walks over to the gift bag and takes it.

We walk downstairs and sat at the kitchen island waiting for Theo to come to pick Brendon up and drop Becky here too."So, um thank you again for like everything." I say looking at Brendon smiling."Thanks also it was fun hanging out with you" he says, but I could tell he wasn't very happy.

Then the doorbell rang and we walked towards the door and found Becky and Theo holding hands."Hey, guys" I say."Hey..so thanks for tonight" Becky says looking at Theo."Your welcome" Theo says smiling wider than her.

Then Becky comes in the house, and Brendon goes out to Theo,"Bye guys" I say and they wave from the car window and smiles. I watch Theo's car going down the street and turning left, I close the door and walk inside.

Becky was in the living room, she looked like she was about to explode from happiness. I can tell she had a lot to tell me about her date with Theo.

I walk to the couch and sat down, pulling a blanket over me, and looked at Becky."So, how did it go?" I ask, covering my ears with the blanket because I knew Becky was going to explode.

"It was amazing, I honestly never knew he was so sweet and such a gentleman. At the cinema, he held my hand and in the movie, he put his arm around my shoulder and stuff, and the movie was amazing too so that's a plus."Becky says, grinning. I could have sworn she said all that in 3 seconds.

"That's great that you had a good time, Becky," I say smiling, removing the blanket from above my ears. Knowing she calmed down a bit, but I knew she wasn't done talking.

"What movie did you guys watch?" I asked, out of now where, while Becky was stuffing her mouth with leftover popcorn, from me and Brendon.

"W-we watched Why Him," Becky said, swallowing popcorn."Cool, I wanted to watch that" I say getting up"Let's go to my room"

We go in the room, I sit down on my chair in front of my study desk, and turned around to face Becky who was sitting on my bed.

"So what happened between you and Brendon? I asked like 20 times" she says throwing a pillow at me."This is the first time your asking" I say blocking the pillow from hitting my face with my hands."Whatever, tell me everything, not a single detail left out" she says.

"I can't believe you made him come to my house with tampons and pads like TAMPONS AND PADS, like are you serious?" I say finally remembering to get mad at her."At least he got me chocolate and jelly" I say shrugging.

"You should be thanking me, I bet you were too lazy to get out of the house anyway." she says."Yeah, I guess thanks" I say rolling my eyes."You're welcome" she says flipping her long hair.

"So now tell me already" Becky yells, grabbing a pillow and hugging it."Yeah, okay so he told me what you told him, then I let him in and we watched Titanic and the-" "did he put his arm around you? Did you guys cuddle? Did you gu-" I cut her off saying "Let me continue and yes we cuddled but wasn't a big deal," I say. She just stares at me and gives me the what-the-fuck look. I just give her a big smile.

"Whatever, continue," she says rolling her eyes."So yeah, we watched then after we just talked and then came up to my room and talked about my mom and stuff then..." I stop remembering the fact that Brendon and I almost kissed.

"Then.......?" Becky says waiting for me to finish."We well like, uh almost um..k-kissed" I say, it sounded more like a question honestly."Becky's mouth drops open. "Close your mouth, you're going to catch flies, Becky," I say, moving over to the bed and grabbing a pillow of my own.

"Oh my god, no way!"Becky squealed, here we go now.."I can't believe it, wait- how- wait what do you mean by almost kissed?" Becky says, emphasizing the almost.

"Well, we were like an inch apart when his phone suddenly rang by your freaking date." I say, seeing Becky's mouth turn into an o shape."Exactly" I say, giving her a glare as a joke.

"This is all my fault urgh why did I tell Theo to call you guys oh my god I just ruined your future-" I cut her off "Becky shut up, its not your fault, its fine and what the heck, you didn't ruin my future," I say rolling my eyes.

"But I did," she says pouting. I know she isn't serious though."Stop joking, anyway let's watch a movie if you're not going to go home." I say getting up to get my computer from the desk.

"I probably should get going, I'll see you after tomorrow at school, or maybe tomorrow," She said putting her phone in her purse and taking out her car keys. "Well then okay, bye," I say. "Bye," she said, giving me a hug then left, closing my bedroom door behind her.

I lay on my bed and turned on the computer and went on a movie website,I never really watched stuff on Netflix,I barely cared what website I use to watch movies or TV series.

..

I wake up and squinted my eyes at the alarm clock, it was 2 pm. I get out of bed and went to the bathroom then tied my hair up, and walked downstairs to eat something because I'm starving.

"Dad?" I call out, looking around. He is supposed to be at home today, I wonder where he went, he barely goes out, unless he went to work. I just shrug and went to the fridge to find something to eat.

After about 2 hours of watching TV, I hear a car outside, so I get up from the couch and looked out the window, to see if it was possibly my dad.

I see dad come out of his car, and he walks to the other side of the car and opens the passenger seat's door.

Wait, why would he?- oh my god...

I see a lady come out of the car, but I can only see her back,

Oh god, my dad couldn't possibly be-
