The Report
The deviant reports seemed to never end for Hank and Connor. Flooding in from all over Detriot and only the two of them there to clean up the mess. But each case they solved helped give the detectives a sense of peace that they were doing what was right. But right now their case was at a full stop. All the new leads refused to pan out and there were no suspects that were around to give any information. A set of footsteps came towards the two and Connor looked up to see officer Chris approaching.
"Lieutenant, sorry to interupt, but we just got a report on some deviants."
Hank turned his swivel chair to face him.
"We weren't getting anywhere with this case at the moment, so anything new would be great."
Chris nodded and began to speak to the two again.
"A group of deviants has just been spotted over in district 3. Caller was a woman and said they appeared to be chasing something."
Hank nodded his head up and down a few times, going over what Chris had just informed them of.
"Did she leave her name or say if she saw anything else?"
Chris shook his head.
"Well, can you think of anything they might be chasing after Connor?"
Running over all the encounters they had had with the deviants and every file, Connor couldn't find anything that the deviants ever looked for. The only thing that appeared in the cases consistently, was the rA9 obsession each had once deviated. None were ever looking for something. It was also strange that they were in a group. Sure they would get help from others but the deviants, but for the most part they kept to themselves.
"No. None of the deviants have ever been shown to search for anything."
"I'll leave you to it Lieutenant." Chris nodded once more, then walked back to his desk. Connor looked to Hank for what he would do next, and today he seemed to be movitated to get out of the precinct. There had been a lack of someone very annoying, plus no captain yelling at him to do his job, and Connor suspected that put Hank in a good mood. At least for now.
"Let's go find some deviants."
Hank made his way out the doors of the precinct and Connor followed, making a new file for this case as he did so. They got into Hanks old car and began their journey to district 3. It wasn't a far drive, only about 10-15 minutes away. So when they finally made their way onto the road, Connor decided it would be a good time to make a report to Cyberlife. Just as he was closing his eyes, he heard Hank turn on the radio and the car was soon filled with the sound heavy metal.
