Singh Mansion
"..." Karthika was over the top to finally have her son back after a period of three years. Her tension and excitement all topple over the ceiling with feeling her stress going away to see his radiant smiling face.
"...I missed you, Ma..." As Shivaay hugged her tight, Karthika glanced at her husband who knew the emotion that both of them shared.
"...What happened to you?...you have become so pale...and...thin...I know...you would have missed home food...don't worry...from now on...my son will be back to his health self again...*chuckles*..." as Karthika brushed his hair back, Shivaay shaked his head at the unnecessary worry that his mother had for him.
Shivaay's room
He kept his bag down, glancing over his room which was kept fresh just the way he had left it. Karthika knew very well that her son would want it that way.
"...Raj-banna?!...here...have this green tea..." as Sarojini aka Dai-sa ordered the maid to keep the tray on the table, Shivaay gave a creased look to the new person who seems known from somewhere.
"...*chuckles*...don't stress yourself much...Raj-banna?...I am Dai-sa...your caretaker...when Sharada Bindani-sa?!!...um...please if you want anything at all...just call me...I will make sure that our Raj-banna is not disappointed...have a nice day..." as the head maid Dai-sa moved out of his room, Shivaay remembered the dreaded day when his mother had left the mortal world with the cancer draining her in and out.
It shattered the whole family with the children shocked and abandoned.
Dai-sa was the only one who managed to bring the family together with her care and support. She had managed to make good mannered boys out of the little ones who needed someone to held their hands when they most required it.
So, Pratap had high respect and adoration for the Dai-sa with knowing that his family would be in order with the knowledge of the elderly Dai-sa.
But when her own son wanted her support to take care of his pregnant wife, Dai-sa took a short leave from the Singh family to resume her motherly duty.
It was after a period of more than a decade that she had returned to the prestigious Singh family. The one family that had no dark secret or any secrets in their humble life. Dai-sa yearned for this which had made her accept the mid-wife duty for the eldest daughter of the Singh family.
Shivaay shrugged the thought away and thought to scurry over the city with meeting up some old friends.
The club
"...Yay!!....this is for the Dr....of ladies?...*Shivaay chuckling*...back in our assemblage!!!...*whistling*..." as Sunny toasted with his friends who cheered the smart charming doctor back from Germany.
Sunny was just enjoying on the leisure that was put in his lap by the Singh men who had developed their trust on him over the years.
Sunny was able to build the Singh medical back in track with training the new employees hard and even making Pratap's dream of turning it into Singh Hospital.
Pratap wanted this reality to happen with his long turmoil of developing the technology for the extension of the Singh medicals into Singh Hospital was everyone's dream.
Pratap and Akash saw the way Sunny had sacrificed his time for their dream with no accolades in return, only made the Singh men believe in him.
But not Shivaay and Karthika alike. They still had their doubts in him after the Gayatri incident and thought to be on their alert whenever the overly happy person Sunny would be in their vicinity.
"...and now...Rocky is going to sing a nice melody for us...come on, Rocky!...the stage is yours!!..." saying so Sunny signalled one of their friends to bring the guitar to the denying Shivaay who suddenly felt shy.
But when they encouraged the college hottie to play one of his favourite tune, he complied to their request.

(Kindly imagine Shivaay playing this)
As he finished his song, a loud but soft clap resonated from the crowd who sided for the pretty lady.
"...Still got the charm!!..." the soft low baritone voice praised the wide eyed and surprised Shivaay who kept the guitar aside, running to give her a warm hug. The fair woman in strapless black leather top and tight pants, paired in shining strap stilettoes, looked like a sexy serene little demon ordered to slay which she did.
(Nisha)
His first crush back in school and now his best friend – Nisha. The girl giggled the loudest when the blushing Shivaay hugged the longest, with her rubbing his broad back whispering "...*hearty laugh*...I know...you missed me..."
As the besties sat down for their long chat in between their laughs and snickers, a curious Sunny was eyeing them from afar.
"...hey?..." as Akash came to him, he was not at all paying any attention to the blabbering Akash.
Smack!
"...What!...I mean...yeah!..." as Sunny asked him with rubbing his arm, Akash wanted to know about the dining arrangements from the one who organised the surprise party for their Shivaay.
"...in an hour...*Akash was about to leave*...Hey?!...who is that?...never seen her before..." at his question, Akash looked over the giggling Shivaay and Nisha, with a smirk.
"...that's our lover boy's first crush...*scoff*...hm...he was always the lucky one!!...he used to attract chicks like magnet!!...don't know what charm he had?!!...I mean...I am handsome too...but this guy...*whistle*..." leaning on the bar counter, Akash was astonished on how cheerful Shivaay had become on Nisha entering their party.
Sunny creased his brow with his intrusive thoughts which he didn't want to come out in front of the brother.
At the end of the bar counter.
"...and yes...I did tell him...that we can wait...but your Shekar?!!...is adamant!!...I don't know...*flipping her hair back*...he wants it sooo badly...argh!!..." saying so Nisha tipped the alcohol, trying to relish its harsh taste; making Shivaay cringe at her flinch.
"...Hey!...he is not that bad!...ok?...yeah...he is flirt...but the man is genuine...ok...if it was not for him...I would have missed my flight back..." Shivaay tried to save his bestie who was the reason for his sober state the next day after the hard party that his Germany colleagues and friends kept for their departing friend.
Nisha heard how Shekar dragged Shivaay's drunk self to the hotel room and was able to sober him down before he would be fresh for the next day. Shekar didn't leave the apartment till the next day morning.
"...yeah...he is good...but Rocky?...don't you think?!!...its reasonable of me...to give this relationship some time...I mean Shekar and I have been together for only 3 years...not much for us to...get hitched?!!...I mean...I for one...need some time...maybe he might too..." Nisha was becoming hesitant on her rocking status with the flirty Shekar would had a reputation to have girlfriend every day. So, her worry was real to not able to marry a person like that.
"...Nisha?!!...I know both of you...and you guys are meant to be together!!...him?!!...a complete idiot...and you?...*biting his lower lips*...you!...um...*shy chuckles*..." to his interrupted words, Nisha understood his blush coming back and she deliberately closed in him with hugging his shoulder. Making the blushing boy redden more with the closeness.
"...you know...its been a decade...ok...*shaking him badly*...come out of your freaking crush!...it's cute!...and you are killing me with that...*chuckles*..." Nisha shrugged him a little to hear his adorable laugh who negated with "...no one can forget their firsts..."
"...Mhm?..." as a mocking Nisha went back to her drink, Shivaay continued "...their first crush...*glancing at her*...their first love...their first...*chuckles*...everything...so yeah...you have a special place in my little heart...which nobody can take...*bending down to her smiling face*...no one..."
Nisha suddenly became serious and teary eyed knowing the way he was there for her in her most down trodden time, like a true friend.
Cupping his side face, Nisha gulped gratifying him "...Thank you for that...*sigh*...but I need to go now..." as she got up to leave, Shivaay whined a little with her giggling.
"...Oh!!!...you just arrived...and...now you are going?!!...come on!!..." as he pouted to act cute, Nisha pinched his nose replying "...No, I can't...I have an early OT...an open heart...so yeah...need my sleep...see you sugarplum...*pecking his blushing cheeks*..."
Shivaay smiled silly like a 'school kid who got an A+ from his favourite teacher' gaze at Nisha who walked away from the club.
Shivaay adored the 29-year-old Nisha, 2 years elder to him; for her simplicity and ever-smiling face for her friends and family alike.
But professionally she was a savage personality to the right person.
Nisha was the best cardiologist in the city who had topped her batch in the US. She had opted to this profession upon her parents pressure but noticed how it impacted her a lot.
It was during her practicing days that she had instilled this new aura of being a doctor and developed the confidence to conquer the cardio medical. With more than 20 successful operations during her practicing period, only increased the confidence of this incredible doctor.
But over-confidence often kills you or makes you feel handicapped. The same happened with Nisha when in her over-chilling attitude, one of her patient died on the operation table.
It was not her medical knowledge that was the reason for the patient's death, it was her ill approach. She had the audacity to command over her subordinates over the OT room who only wanted to guide her in the operation.
With Shekar in the UK helping out his family issue, it was only Nisha alone in her sorrow and fear of the unknown.
Shivaay helped her to come out of her trauma with his friendly nature and being her mentor for developing her lost confidence back.
She never knew that the lover boy Shivaay was such a good person inside out. He didn't let anyone else command over her time lag to come out of the ordeal. She and Shekar were aware of his little crush on her, but sidelined it as his childishness. It was only when he showed his support and care for their Nisha in the most mature manner, were they able to understand this fine man, Shivaay who would never ask for any explanation and would only offer his immense help and support.
So, from that day onwards Shivaay was their best friend for life.
