Chapter 8: Destruction

"Are we there yet?" Happy groaned, deciding to sit on Natsu's shoulder.

"No, Happy. We've gone through this five times now, it'll take us at least another two weeks to get there." Natsu replied, keeping his attention mostly on the water.

A few days have passed since Gajeel pissed off Natsu, and those footprints of his were still burnt into the wood. Natsu always tended to slip closer to Lucy whenever the large dragon slayer appeared.

Natsu pulled out a map, scanning the places they had to pass before being able to reach the Mesidian Sea. "Geez, why's there gotta be so much water to cross?! We're taking pit stops or else I'm gonna get sick." Natsu complained, his voice tight with annoyance.

The past few days, the weathers been acting up with the temperature quickly falling, more chilling, stronger gusts blowing and the sea starting to act up. The ship tended to rock more, almost making Natsu sick to his stomach.

Happy shook his head. "Man, you always get sick whenever the weathers not perfect! You have the weakest stomach."

Natsu just groaned as a reply, his stomach doing flip flops as the ship rocked a few times suddenly. "You've got to get it together." The blue cat mumbled.

He heard light footsteps come up to the upper deck, seeing Lucy wearing her blue attire again. "What's up Luce?" Natsu asked, immediately straightening his back from slouching over the wheel, standing up tall.

Luce shrugged her shoulders. "Not much, I was just going to start making a pot of tea downstairs. Any specific request?"

Happy giggled. "Some sort of herbal tea that makes sick tummy aches go away from motion sickness!"

"Happy, shut up!" Natsu embarrassingly yelled, clenching his jaw together as his face flushed dark red, wishing that the cat didn't tell her his weakness. Out of all the things, why did it have to be motion sickness from the ship rocking?

Lucy couldn't help but laugh as the Captain was clearly embarrassed. "I can try." She genuinely smiled as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hoy! Look over there!" Droy yelled, his eyes widened as he pointed towards the right. "Cap'n, ya gotta look!"

"This doesn't look good..." Gajeel muttered, cracking his knuckles.

The members who were outside creaked their necks to the direction where Droy had pointed, and everyone immediately went hysterically out of control.

"Get the cannons ready!"

"Get every weapon you can find!"

"...in the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit..."

"Mate this ain't a good time to be prayin'!"

Everyone was racing around the ship in all directions, some of them ramming into each other. Lucy's eyes worriedly scanned the chaotic scene, not knowing why suddenly everyone was getting their head out.

"Lucy, go downstairs now." Natsu demanded, his voice much deeper toned. Lucy looked at him for a second, opening her mouth to protest. "But what's-"

"I said go downstairs, don't argue with me!" Natsu shouted raising his voice immensely. Lucy took a step back from his outburst, her eyebrows narrowing. "Natsu-"

"Luce as your Captain, I command you to go downstairs right now." His strict tone scared her, pointing to the stairs with his finger. "You do as I say." Her brown eyes trembled into his serious stare, his eyes telling her to go without a choice.

Lucy barely nodded her head once, turning away from him and ran down the stairs, biting her lip from her eyes watering. Natsu could only see the pained look in her eyes for a second, an emotional pain stabbing him in the chest as he watched her take off.

"You didn't have to be rude about it." Happy spat, giving his partner a look. The Captain sighed as he grasped the front of his hair. "I'm just worried." He glanced at the ship that grew closer in the distance, turning the direction of the ship to head face on.

Her vision blurred as she grasped the door handle, forcefully slamming the door behind her. "What was that?" Lucy choked out, crossing her arms as she went into the bathroom, sliding her back against the door until she reached the ground.

Her held her knees close to her chest and rested her head on it, wondering why he got so mad at her. He just lashed out at her and she did nothing wrong. "What's happening?..." the loud clacking of feet running back and forth frightened her, hugging herself even tighter.

"There it is." Laxus pointed, trying to get a glimpse of which crews symbol was on the ship's sail.

Natsu narrowed his dilated eyes, the wind roughly rustling his long captains coat behind him. His spiky hair furiously whipped in every direction.

Everyone stood in complete silence, armed and ready as they continued to get closer. After a few minutes, Natsu felt the muscles in his face relax, his hands release their tight grip on the wheel.

"Wait, is that what I think it is?..."

"It's Sabertooth! Aww man, we got prepared for nothin'!" Cana shouted, slamming her empty beer bottle on the ground and pulled out another somehow, popping it open and gulped it down.

Natsu released the stained breath he had held in, closing his eyes for a few seconds. "Fuck, for a second there I thought it was somethin' else." The weight on his chest was gone as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Slow the ship down!" He yelled as the other grand ship neared, having the crew members quickly get in gear and made the Fairy Tail ship come to a complete halt.

Sabertooth's ship was a different style than theirs, tending to be more on the fancier side. It wasn't any more expensive though. The ship stopped right next to it, seeing their members peek their heads out.

"Well damn, I haven't seen those fools in a long time." Gajeel cracked a smirk as both crews waved their hands at each other.

Soon enough, some men had placed a long wooden bridge connecting the two ships as a walkway.

Natsu placed his hands on his hips as he saw a familiar blonde man. The blonde grabbed a rope that hung from their ship and gracefully swung to theirs, landing perfectly on his feet.

"Well if it isn't the ol' Natsu Dragneel." The blonde cracked, showing a pure smile that showed off his sparkling white teeth. The pinkette shook his head as he held out his hand to shake his. "Sting Eucliffe, haven't seen ya face in over a month."

"Guess it was just because I haven't seen your face in a while." Happy glanced over to see the cat named Lector walking over with a smirk on his face. "It's been a long time!"

Carla flew over to the two cats, along with Lily behind her. Lector's eyes glanced at the beautiful white cat he admired, taking her paw in his and lightly placing a kiss on the back. "You're just as gorgeous when I last saw you."

Carla's cheeks blushed. "Oh my, well ah, thank you."

Lily glanced weirdly over at Happy, who had smoke coming from his ears as he furiously chomped on a random fish. "That guy's gonna get it I swear!" Happy gritted, wishing his eyes could burn a whole through the other cat's skull.

Sting wore a sleeveless deep blue long coat similar to Natsu's, only outlined with silver. His white tank top was very thin, easily able to see every definition of his abs. The neckline loosely swung down to around the middle of his chest, along with a long gold chain around his neck. He wore white pants, and finished with long brown boots. The sabertooth symbol was placed on his upper forearm, along with it on the back of his Pirates coat. He wore blue diamond earrings.

"Still lookin' for that clue?" Sting asked, crossing his arms. They've known each other for nine years now and grown to come close, even if they did have a rough start. He's been looking for any sign of the Cryptic Stone for years now.

"I'm not gonna quit till I find it." Natsu replied, having a smirk graze his dry lips. Sting shook his head. "I knew you would say something like that."

Sting put his hand in his pocket and pulled out an envelope, holding it out. "I've been trying to find you for a few days, I've been sent to have this letter given to a girl named Lucy."

Natsu's eyes flared up, his onyx eyes dilating as he stared into his blue eyes. "How do you know her and how'd you find out she's with us?" He growled from deep in his throat, feeling his hands heat up quickly as his protective instinct tensed his body.

"I can explain everything to you. I just need to tell whoever this girl is what's happened at Riduele. I was there four days ago, and I urgently need to give her this." Sting raised the letter in his hand.

Natsu's jawbone clenched with a vein popping to appear on his head, sending daggers with his eyes from his intense glare. After a few seconds, he turned to the closest person, Lisanna. "Get Lucy for me."

Lisanna nodded, quickly running to his room. "Lucy?" She called, seeing the bathroom door prop open halfway. "Natsu requested you to come out."

Lucy blinked a couple times, wondering why he'd want her out now. "Um, okay." She weakly replied, following Lisanna to the front of the ship. She felt awkward and nervous to see him after his outburst at her, not feeling comfortable with making any sort of conversation.

When she walked outside she inhaled deeply in surprise, seeing another ship right against Fairy Tail's. Is that the ship that I saw earlier? Lucy couldn't help but be confused with questions roaming her mind.

She slowly walked up the steps, her brown eyes only half open. Frightening thoughts clouded her mind, trembling. What could another crew want to do with her?

Lucy looked up to see another figure next to Natsu. Her eyes met his gaze for a second, but quickly averted her eyes away from him.

Sting had patiently waited, not really caring about the whole situation he'd need to explain. His arms lazily crossed in front of her chest, not really paying attention. His gaze was unfocused, glancing at the stairs once he heard soft footsteps make their way up.

His eyes saw a blonde figure and after a second his breath was caught in his chest, his heart completely skipping a beat. His eyes widened, his irises enlarged as he couldn't look away, his lips parting slightly.

Sting hadn't expected this at all. He stared at the young woman, entranced by how stunning she was. His eyes scanned every curve in awe.

She was beautiful.

Lucy shyly walked over, standing a good few feet away from the two of them awkwardly. "Luce, this is an ol' friend of mine." Natsu started, but glanced over at Sting to see him gazing at her enchantingly.

"M'lady, my name's Sting Eucliffe, Captain of Sabertooth." Sting husked, finally meeting her rich brown eyes he bored into.

Lucy lightly blushed from his gesture, taken aback from his icy blue eyes that pierced into hers. She couldn't stop herself from looking away from how handsome he looked, trying not to look down at his defined chest. "Lucy Heartfilia."

Natsu pretended to cough, trying to bring their attention back to the main purpose of the conversation. A fire deep down in his chest flared, an unfamiliar emotion affecting how pissed off he suddenly was.

Sting softly smiled as he took her hand in his, not taking his eyes away from her. "A beautiful name for a beautiful lady." Lucy's blush deepened as he slowly got closer to her face, suddenly feeling his smooth lips against her cheek.

He lightly placed a tender kiss on her left cheek, satisfied that he had that kind of affect over her.

Natsu let out a choked growl, feeling every muscle in his body tighten. His knuckles turned white as he clenched his fists together, desperately wanting to yank him and throw him off the boat.

He was fuming.

Anger swirled around like untamed flames within him, rising to his throat to burn him into a crisp. His hands itched to swing a punch right into his face, feeling at if he'd trespassed into his territory. "Sting, you came here for a specific damn reason." He sneered at the opposing male.

Sting chuckled from his dominance over the fire dragon slayer, letting go of her soft hand. His eyes smirkingly dared to look back, seeing small licks of flames flicker in his onyx eyes.

Lucy noticed how Natsu's stature was disgusted with anger, his whole body more tense than she's ever seen. His clenched his strong jaw, almost preventing to keep sour words from leaving his teeth. His lips pressed together while breathing heavily through his nose, and his eyes were the main source to see the fuming emotion.

"Lucy, this is a letter I received from a person named Roy in Riduele. I don't know what's written on the letter, but I'd recommend reading it." Sting handed the envelope and placed it in her hands, seeing her eyes conflicted with confusion.

Roy? What could he want?

She glanced between the two men, then slowly opened the envelope to see a handwritten letter addressed to her. Her fingers gripped the sides of the paper as her eyes started to read the scribbled words.

To Lucy,

I know you're angry with me for leaving you, but I'm sending this to warn you. You may not believe what I'm sending you, but you have to trust your father this time. You must leave Riduele IMMEDIATELY, and don't get caught. A large crew of pirates have discovered who you are and are looking for something valuable, which I cannot tell you what it is. They plan on invading the town and destroying everything in their path to find you, and they will not STOP. I beg of you, please get out of there while you have the time!

This may seem like a long journey to take, but I require you to come to the Kingdom located on Sohona, North of where Riduele is. I demand you to come so we can hide you from everyone.

From,
Jude Heartfilia.

Lucy's eyes quivered in confusion, the paper skating from her trembling hands. "I-I.."

Natsu fixated his gaze on her, his eyes showing worry. "Luce, what's wrong?" He tenderly expressed his deep concern for her.

"Natsu..read it..." Lucy whispered, shakily handing the letter to him. His hands brushed against hers as he took it and read it quickly.

"That's where the Kingdom of Sohona's located." Natsu breathed, immediately catching Sting's attention. "They're a Kingdom who hates pirates. They refuse to even talk to them, pirates are either sent straight to prison once setting foot on land or are immediately executed."

Lucy's eyes widened, overwhelming tears saddening her eyes. "Of course he'd make me go there, he despises pirates!" Her voice cried, her emotions strongly waving within her.

Natsu brought her to his side, slipping his arm around her. He met Sting's eyes with a conflicted look. "Tell us what happened when you were at Riduele."

__________

-Five days prior to current day-

A fleet of black ships ferociously rode the violent waves, crew members clinging on for their dear lives as the rain aggressively pelted down on them, feeling like tiny bullets shooting into their soaking skin.

The ominous, dark thunderclouds roared above, sending a lightning bolt to strike the water, sending an explosive amount splashing into the ship.

The taller man grimly smirked as he rose his hand into the air, causing to clash down more thunderbolts onto the town just ahead of them. Wooden structures exploded, sending violent pieces flying as people shrieked, running to save their lives. His grin creepily stretched to bare his teeth, letting a horrid laugh escape deep within his chest. "I've been waiting for you, princess." He hungrily growled under his breath, eyeing the town that was being destroyed. His black and red hair whipped in the storms winds.

The black ships rammed into the port, smashing through the man-built wood ground, wrecking other small boats in the way. Sharp pieces of wood flew everywhere, cutting into the people's bodies, whether it was a slit or a large piece sinking right through their bodies that tumbled to the ground.

Large masses of revolting men started yelling, climbing off the ships with every sort of weapon they could use. Axes, guns, swords, machetes, bombs, while some men stayed to set up the cannons.

The leader jumped off the ship, slowly walking while his men raced past him, weapons stretched high into the air as they began to chase the hometown people. Gunshots fired, sending many bodies to fall, some splashing into the water to drown.

Swords clashed, slicing into innocent humans to have blood ooze from their deadly wounds. Women shrieked in agony as crew members terrorized them in every perverted way possible. Their grossly hands groped their bodies, leading to many other conclusions that had them satisfied when they cried for help. Hometown men quickly grabbed their weapons and began to fought back, following with young sons bravely standing by their fathers sides. Children too young were horrendously screaming, becoming lost in the nightmare that was all too real.

"Sir Draxyn! I haven't spotted her yet!" Harley yelled as a cannon fired, sending it to tear down many wooden structures. He wiped his face with his muddy hand from the rain pelting down into his eyes.

The leader stepped over a dead man, his skull completely smashed into pieces with crimson liquid staining the ground. He saw a men of Riduele run towards him with a knife, screaming.

Draxyn raised a hand towards the man who ran at him with full speed, awaiting to satisfy his need for more bloodshed. A black-purple flame whisked in his palm, the rain having no affect to the fire.

The man shrieked one last time as he lunged in the air, bringing his knife back and swung it forward, aiming it at his chest.

"Pathetic vermin." He spat, grabbing the man by his face and engulfed his body in a poisoning devouring flame that burned his body. The man let out a terrorizing scream in pain as the flames quickly burned his skin off, every part of his body stinging with immense pain. His voice shrieked as if someone could maybe save him at the last second.

The hand squeezed the face until the bones shattered, his limbs dropping to the sticky mud beneath. A disgusting satisfactorily grin grazed his face, his tongue licking his lips. Puss and blood sprayed onto his hand, which he shook after dropping the crushed skull to the ground, shaking the remnants off.

Draxyn continued to walk, seeing his men torture everyone in a horrendous way that made his grin widen even more. The shrieks of innocence was a melody to his ears. They cried from threats that lead to their deaths, their blood seeking into the torn up muddy ground.

Draxyn ventured his way through his realistic fantasy he imagined to be Hell, houses torched with giant flames that burnt to dusty ashes, the air thickening to his delight. He breathed in the smokey ashes that powered his flames, revoltingly laughing as bombs were thrown at people. His vision of a utopia was gracefully playing in front of his eyes.

A young man with brown hair barely dodged a house that almost crumbled on him, covering his mouth with his hands to avoid coughing from the smoke. He ran across the muddied dirt roads, seeing gory bodies everywhere that made him want to vomit from the horrid smell.

He was only worried about one other person before himself; the beautiful maiden he adored every day.

His hand reached into his pocket to make sure the delivery envelope was still there, continuing to run. He inhaled and exhaled heavily, hearing himself wheeze.

"Aauuhg!" He aguishly yelled, feeling a hand grab him by the back of his shirt and shove him into the mud, a man hovering over him.

His one eye greedily pierced into his terrorized eyes, his whole body shaking violently in fear. His feet started to shuffle, scooting back away from the demon man that was surrounded by blackening flames.

"Do you know a girl named Lucy Heartfilia?" The vulture spat in his face, grabbing his shirt neckline to hold him in place, his nails deeply scraping cuts into the young man's neck, blood trickling down his throat.

"Y-y-yes."

The evil man though for a second, sending chills down the brunettes spine. "What's your name?"

"R-R-Roy." He stuttered out, his heartbeat racing out of control.

"Have you seen a pirate with pink hair that goes by the name Natsu Dragneel?" His voice hissed as a thunderbolt struck only a few mere feet away from them.

Roy shook his head. "N-no, I've never seen a p-pirate before." He could smell the man's repulsive breath, scrunching his nose in disgust as vomit ran up his throat.

"Damnit!" Draxyn roared, slamming a hand into the ground, sending several lighting bolts that struck near them. His black eye ferociously glared into Roys. He yanked the brunettes shirt, tearing it while he held him at his towering height, lifting his feet off the ground.

"If you ever see that damn pirate, tell him Draxyn came lookin' for him, along with his girl Lucy." With that, he threw the young man onto the ground and walked off, thirsty to murder more people with his demonic demeanor.

"She's not here! Destroy everything in your path!" Draxyn yelled to some crew members, a cruel, agonizing hatred bubbling within him towards the Fairy Tail Captain. I swear I'll fucking find you, Natsu.

Roy laid on the ground sporadically shaking, his movements uncontrollably jerky as he stumbled around a house, tripping and face-planting into the mud.

The horrid, gruesome taste made him spit and cough, heaving the bile that was stuck in his throat onto the ground. He stumbled on his feet, but his vision blacked out completely, his limp body falling back on the ground motionless.

__________

Roy didn't know when he woke up, but the suns rays blared in his face, making his groan and rub his eyes. He laid on his back for a minute, trying to remember what happened.

Oh shit! The town was-! He could only gasp at the sight, scrambling onto his sore dirtied feet.

Everything was in complete ruin. The smell couldn't even be described, it revolting gruesome scent making Roy cough. If any of a structure was there, it was blackened to the very crisp before it dusted into ash. Smoke still rose up in the clear sky from tarnished homes, a few stores still barely on fire.

His body was covered in mud, scrapes, blood, bruises, and it hurt like hell. Every step he took made him bite back on his tongue to prevent tears from rolling down his muddy face. He smelled bad; most of his skin was covered in ash and dried crusty mud. His eyes dilated in fear as he saw all the blood splattered, dead rotting bodies from the people he knew.

He looked to see a much different large ship at bay, a brown color with fancy decorations. A group of men piled out of the ship, shocked by what their eyes were witnessing.

A couple minutes passed by, Roy seeing a blonde young man hurriedly running towards him.

"Sir!" He called out, collapsing onto his weak knees. He heard the man's footsteps approach him.

"Hey, what the hell happened here?" Sting squatted down to the brunette, who clearly was in extreme pain. He had cuts everywhere on his body.

"I-I don't know, hundreds of these pirates flooded the town, completely destroying everything. This man asked me if I knew a certain girl, and I do." Roy started, his fingers digging into the ground. "He then asked me if I knew a man named Natsu Drag-eel? Dragneel? Something like that-"

"I know him. Why would he ask that?" Sting questioned, his eyes slightly enlarging after hearing the name.

"He guy said he was looking for him and the girl, her name's Lucy. Apparently she's with him, so if you see him, please give him this letter for Lucy." Roy barely finished, his voice hoarse as he let out a nasty cough. He pulled out the crumpled letter, luckily it wasn't as dirty as his clothes.

Sting looked at it for a second, but nodded his head. "I promise I'll find him. Follow me, I'll give you some stuff." He helped Roy stand up, supporting his weight on his shoulder. They slowly made his way to the ship, tending his wounds to their best abilities.

The crew gathered all the survivors they could, which was only a few handfuls. Each person was treated with care, being cleaned, bandaged up and fed.

"I'll leave some supplies for you, and I'm going to send repairers to help clean up this town." Sting said as he finished carrying the last majority of the items he'd given Roy. The brunette hopefully looked at him. "I can't thank you enough."

Sting nodded, saying his final word before their crew took off, still shocked by the horrid demolished town that was in crumbles. "Who would do such a thing?" Rogue commented, the view saddening him deeply.

"I don't know. All we gotta do is find that salamander and send some help for these people." Sting replied, steering the ship back onto the waters.

________

-Present time-

"Roy explained everything to me like I told you." Sting finished, seeing the two complete in shock.

Natsu couldn't breath as he stared at the ground, a flame of anger growing in his chest. "Damn, who'd do that?!" He yelled, disgusted by whoever the person was that decided to destroy the town.

Lucy's emotions were building up with enough pressure that she didn't feel anything at all. Endless salty tears streamed down her red cheeks, her heart shattering into a million pieces. She felt her lips quiver, pressing them together to choke a few sobs back. "I...!"

She didn't take a moment to wait any longer, hearing his voice call her name as she ran downstairs, maybe somehow running away from the truth.

"Lucy...Lucy!...Lucy!" Natsu yelled her name, running after her when she didn't look back at him.

The two separate guilds stopped their conversations to see the Fairy Tail Captain sprint down the stairs and into the hallway, heading his voice call out to the blonde.

Lucy blindly stumbled in the room, closing the door behind her before turning towards the wall to let out anguished heartbreaking sobs. Her forearms smacked into the wall, the only support to keep her wobbling legs from giving out.

Each tear was followed by countless others in an unbroken stream leaking from her puffy down her face. She leaned her head against the wall, her hands shaking, letting out cries with the force of someone who'd gotten stabbed in the heart. Her lungs desperately begged for air, rummaging for oxygen from them tightening. Her headache throbbed, her cheeks burned, her memory ached from everyone she gotten to know and love in Riduele.

Natsu slammed through the door, kicking it closed as he strode to her, grabbing her by her strong hips to bring her close to him.

"No-! Stop--Natsu-!" He spun her around, not wasting a second to tightly wrap his arms around her waist as if she was the only person that mattered to him.

"Let me go! I-" Lucy tried to push her hand son his chest, but he only brought her closer in, tucking his face into the nape of her neck. "Luce, I'm here, I'm here." He could feel her figure trembling against his strong, broader built body, only leading to embrace her tighter.

After a few seconds of Lucy rejecting his embrace, she melted into his chest, feeling her lungs burning as if she was trapped in a fire. "Th-th-they're g-gone...everyone.."

Natsu felt her come closer to him, finally accepting his hug. He closed his eyes as she could hear her desperately sobbing, suffocating with each breath she took holding onto her last bit of strength. Nothing was more painful than for him to see her like this, he could only embrace her and feel her hot tears against his bare chest.

He whispered sweet nothings into her ear hoping to bring some sort of calmness to her. Her hands trailed up his chest and slung her weak arms around his neck, grasping on as if her life depended on it. Natsu moved her against the wall, his hands tenderly massaging.

She didn't hold her sobs back. All the pain built up inside of her from hearing the tragic story she released with no regret. Everything she had at Riduele was completely gone, her possessions, the people she'd come to know, they were taken away from her.

"Lucy..."

After a long period of time passed, her loud sobs mellowed down to silent tears cascading down.

Natsu lifted his head to meet her eyes, feeling his own heart ache from just seeing the cry for help in her glassy eyes. He gently leaned his forehead against hers, lifting a hand to brush away a few bangs that stuck to her cheeks from the tears.

Lucy met his gaze and almost gasped, seeing an unrecognizable look in his eyes. His eyes dilated, an unknown emotion making his gaze harder to look away from. Her right hand slid from his neck to the side of his head, intertwining her fingers with his hair.

"Everything's gonna be okay, I promise." He whispered, seeing that her tears have slowed down to a few trickles.

"Kay." She replied softly, feeling him tuck her head under his chin comfortably. They stayed like that for a long time until she almost fell asleep in his arms, so her carried her to the bed and laid her down.

Natsu pulled she blankets over her, seeing that her eyes were already closed. He glanced at her one more time before quietly exiting, hoping that some rest would help her feel any better.

He made his way towards his co-captain, deciding on where their lead of direction is.

Erza held the map in her hand, checking out the different paths to Mesidian Sea. "Captain, I think we need to go West to cross-

"Change of plans. We're going to Sohona." Natsu caught the woman off-guard in surprise, raising her eyebrows in questioning. "I'll tell you about it later."

Erza nodded in an understandable manner, nodding while walking towards the upper deck of the ship.

Natsu knew that going to the Sohona Kingdom was a risky, dangerous move for the pirate. He put aside his dangers, thinking about Lucy and what her father wanted besides keeping her locked up.

I promise I won't let anyone hurt her, dad.

This chapter had me S H O O K

At least a little bit.

I hate when I have to switch time periods, it's a pet peeve. I should've incorporated the gory part in the last chapter, but it's all good. (I deeply apologize on my part for the yucky gross parts)

Thank you for reading though ❤️💕
