Today's the day  I will become an apprentice!  she thought excitedly. Leafstar has just Called the clan together and now they wait for lionsong. she wonders who her mentor will be and how will she know her way around the territory? she heard a whisper in her ear it was Firestar
" don't worry young one you'll be just fine I know it. I'm proud of you dovekit. it's as if your my own kit. even though we're related... Squirrel flight is proud of her daughter for bringing in such wonderful kits." Firestar meowed

" Thank you firestar. " She whispered

and with that Firestar is gone.

" You ready young ones?" Lionsong purred.  as he came in

" Ready as I'll always be!" She purred

"  That's my girl." Lionsong purred licking her cheek. he escorted them out of the nursery and into the clearing where the clan sat waiting for the ceremony to begin. she saw Dovewing , Cedarclaw and Echofur sitting under the highledge.

I wonder if they're going to be our mentors? she thought excitedly

" Welcome young kits to your ceremony once you're apprenticed you will learn the clan ways and you will train your hardest to become a warrior one that has loyalty and courage in thunderclan.  Firekit please step forward. "

Firekit stepped forward to Leafstar who was standing at the end of the open aisle.

" Firekit from thus day forward until he has earned his warrior name , this apprentice will be called firepaw. Echofur you have shown that you are ready to take on another apprentice you will be mentor to firepaw. Echofur you have shown kindness and loyalty. I expect you to pass everything that Lionsong has taught you." Leafstar meowed

Firepaw And Echofur touch noses and then the went back to sit on the other side of the clearing

"  Crowkit come forward from this day forward until he has earned his warrior name, this apprentice will be called Crowpaw. Dovewing, you are ready to take on an apprentice you will be mentor to Crowpaw. Dovewing you have shown yourself to be courageous and furious in battle and I expect that you pass on everything lionblaze  has taught you."  Leafstar meowed

they touched noses and did the same as firepaw and Echofur

" Lucakit come forward. From this day forward until she has earned her warrior name, this apprentice will be called lucapaw. Cedarclaw since you have joined Thunderclan to be with your mate I have finally trusted you with an apprentice I hope you will pass on whatever you have learned to Lucapaw you have shown that I could trust you and that you're loyal. no matter what clan you come from." Leafstar meowed

They touched noses and padded to the other side of the clearing..

Now it's my turn I got Firestar with me it's not going to be so bad. she thought looking at Firestar who nodded.

" Dovekit come forward." Leafstar called her name and she padded slowly forward she glanced at lucapaw who nodded. Then she looked up at Leafstar who was in front of her.

" Dovekit from this day forward until she has earned her warrior name , this apprentice will be called Dovepaw. I have thought this over since Deercreek  is no longer my apprentice  I have taken you as my apprentice. and I know that we will work well together dovepaw." Leafstar meowed

and we touched noses

she was the leaders apprentice! what an honor! she thought excitedly

the clan chanted their new names and she stood their proudly next to her new mentor.

" Why don't you go and meet the other Apprentices I'm sure you already know them. " Leafstar purred

" Thanks! Are we going to see the territory today?" She asked

"yes we will. " Leafstar meowed

she dipped her head and ran over to her littermates.

" Can you belive it were Apprentices!" Firepaw purred circling Dovepaw

Dolphinpaw and olivepaw came over

" Hey we made room for you four in the Apprentices den!" Olivepaw purred

" That's great! " she meowed

looking at the warriors den where it was crowded cause of that tree some warriors had to sleep in the Apprentices den cause it was getting way too crowded in the warriors den but they might expand the Apprentices den and the warriors den.. and make another den on top of the tree since theirs room for more den space and warriors were already working on it above the tree.

" Hey Dovepaw you coming?" Olivepaw asked

" Ya sorry." She meowed and followed her to meet her new denmates.

once in the Apprentices den she saw Dewpaw sleeping

" here's your nest Dovepaw. right next to Firepaws." Olivepaw meowed.

" Thanks olivepaw." She meowed

" your welcome." he purred.

she heard Leafstar call her name and they went out for a tour of the  territory.  then they came back to camp and Leafstar ordered her to go eat and then go to sleep since tomorrow she and her littermates will be going to their first gathering together!

She got up at dawn excited for tonight. she saw Dovewing who padded over to her.

" Hey Dovepaw. your up early."  Dovewing meowed

" I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd wake up early. cause im so excited for my first gathering!" she purred

" Ah Leafstar has invited you to come tonight eh?" she asked

" yup. has the dawn patrol already gone?" dovepaw asked

" yeah I just switched my guard duty with Deercreek. " Dovewing meowed

" oh did you have a long night?" she asked

" yeah pretty much" Dovewing murmured and yawned

" I better get some sleep you should go eat."  Dovewing meowed.

"  of course. " She nodded and dovewing left and right when Dovewing was brushing passed her she froze 

oh no not a vision!

" Dovewing! No don't do it!" she heard Ivypool yowl.

"  Why not I have to get that Shadowclan cat!" Dovewing snarled and she ran across the thunder path just when a monster was rolling down the hill of the thunder path

" DOVEWING!!! WATCH OUT!"  Dovepaw yowled  just as Dovewing turned she was hit by the monster.

" Dovecreek go get Firesky!" Ivypool ordered

and with that the vision ended her fur stood on end. bristling with shock Dovewing noticed her fur bristling.

" Dovepaw what's wrong?" Dovewing asked

she looked at Dovewing with great shock and terror.

" y-you died..." She stammered

" What's that?"  Dovewing asked.

" I saw a vision of you getting hit by a monster thinking you could chase a shadowclan cat off our territory.. I think we were on patrol and Ivypool was there trying to convince  you to not go across the thunderpath.. and then you got hit." She meowed shaking

"  Are you sure about that dovepaw?"  Dovewing meowed 

she nodded.

" maybe you should go see Jaywing for the shock.. I'll talk to you later okay."  Dovewing meowed licking her head.

she nodded again and padded to the medicine den shocked she saw That Roseheart was still sleeping but Jaywing woke up .

" Dovepaw what's wrong?" Jaywing meowed turning to see the shock and horror in my eyes.

" I - I don't know." She stammered shaking

" here why don't you come into my part of the den and leave Roseheart sleeping." Jaywing whispered

She followed Jaywing to the back of the medicine den which was just closed off with vines hanging from it. she sat down in the nest that Jaywing had in front of her.

" Now tell me what's wrong."

" I don't know if you'll belive me but... I just saw Dovewing 's death." She murmured

" you saw Dovewing ' s death? how can you explain to me?"  Jaywing meowed

" Well when Dovewing brushed against me I saw a vision of her getting hit by a monster. we were on patrol and I was a warrior and my name was dovecreek, and I was on patrol with Ivypool, Dovewing and Firesky which I suppose it was my brother.." She meowed pausing

" go on." Jaywing meowed

" and Firesky was somewhere else i think. and Ivypool was trying to convince Dovewing not to cross over the thunderpath to get the shadowclan cat that was on our territory and Dovewing crossed anyways but she suddenly got hit by the Monster."  She meowed

" Well you don't see visions like those these days. I'm sorry you had to experience  that my dear. But let me get you some thyme and poppy seeds and I'll let Leafstar know about this. " Jaywing meowed

she nodded and she left the medicine cat den with the poppy seeds and went to the Apprentices den.
