(Someday in the past.)

"Evan, why don't you make some friends." The teacher said. Evan looked at them then looked away. Evan was a shy kid. He never had any friends.

"You young lady need to stop hurting kids!" The teacher scolded. Abby looks at the teacher and flip her off. Abby was a mean kid. She would fight anybody.

One day Evan was by himself that he saw the other kids play. Abby was in time out for hitting a boy. They saw each other and waved at each other.

Evan got up from sitting on the floor and went to Abby. Abby noticed him and continued to look at the other kids. He sat down nexts to her.

"You know this spot is for time out." Abby said. Evan nods his head meaning he knows. They didn't say anything for awhile. "Evan." Evan said. "Abby." Abby said.

They looked at each other and smile. "It's time to head in side!" The teacher yells. Evan got up and clean himself off. They both walked together.

"Friends?" Evan asked. Abby looks at him and smile. "Friends." Abby said. They both shake hands for there friendships. They even smile again.

The two of them would hang out a lot and spend time with each other. When Evan would get bullied or hurt. Abby will defend him and fight them.

They would be around each other 24/7. They really love to spend time with each other. When they entered high school Abby was delinquent while Evan was an honor student.

Abby would get into fights that she would send her opponents to the hospital. Evan was attending every classes and getting good grades.

"Oi!" Abby yelled. Evan turn and saw Abby. He smile at her. She smile and waved back. She ran up to him. "How is my favorite nerd!" Abby said happily.

Evan rolled his eyes playfully. "I'm doing amazing exactly." Evan said. Abby smile even brighter. "That's what I want to hear!" Abby said happily.

They both started to talk. They would talk for minutes or hours. When they were talking Evan realized he was at his class. "Well, see after class." Evan said. Abby nods her head and ditch class.

The time came for there graduations. Everyone was surprised that Abby even graduated. Even, Evan was more surprised. They both were standing at the school gate.

"We actually did it." Abby said. Evan nods his head. They both looked at each other. "I'm really happy that you are my friend." Evan said.

Abby smile. "Me too." Abby said. They both hug each other. "Now, for our next step to been adults." Evan said. Abby nod her head. "Together?" Abby said. "Together." Evan said.

Yes, they were on there way of becoming adults. What they didn't know and soon find out is that. This society isn't your normal everyday society some of people around them aren't human....some of them are ghouls. They eat off of human flesh. So, they need to be careful of who they become friends with. Is killed or be killed~
