On a chilly day of November, the Order held a meeting at Orme Square, as the newest recruits were ready to go out into the real world.

Gideon and Fabian asked to leave early. They had been invited by their sister Molly and her husband Arthur to visit their family.

The Weasley household was full of warmth. The eldest children were Bill and Charlie, aged 9 and 7. Percy was 5 and the youngest were 2-year-old twins, Fred and George, named after Fabian and Gideon themselves. Molly was pregnant with their sixth child.

Dinner was a pleasant affair that day. All the little boys were fond of their uncles, who told them their best amusing stories and most importantly, had brought a heap of colourful candies with them. After dinner, as the children got sleepy, the elders talked about the war outside.

"They might come after you," said Gideon, looking at his elder sister anxiously. "They have branded Weasely as one of the biggest blood traitors out here."

"Well, we do have a hideout where we could go in case of emergency," said Arthur. "It's a little house we have bought, called 'The Burrow' in Devon. I wonder if we should take the kids there."

There was sharp noise of more than one people Apparating. "You won't get the chance to, Weasely," said Lucius Malfoy, leading the group of seven Death Eaters who were now standing in the kitchen.

Fred and George woke up and began howling. Molly grabbed them and tried to silence them. Gideon and Arthur and Fabian moved to guard Molly and the children.

"Say goodbye to your children," said Avery, raising his wand on Bill, who was nearest.

Fabian moved a little to shield Bill. Gideon turned and indicated something to Arthur, who understood.

The next moment, Gideon shouted loudly and swung his arm in an arc, forcing the stunned Death Eaters to scatter.

"Go!" shouted Fabian. Arthur caught hold of Molly and Bill, Charlie and Percy. As he prepared to Apparate, Avery, the first one to recover, lunged for them and managed to grab the twins' feet.

They vanished from sight.

"He'll send the signal! Seal it, Gideon!" shouted Fabian. The brothers slashed their wands urgently and managed to put the advanced Anti-Apparition charm on the house.

The Death Eaters roared in rage as they realized what they had done. All five of them raised their wands and advanced.

Gideon and Fabian fought side by side the best they could. But it wasn't possible for two of them to defeat five.

As they were beginning to be overwhelmed, Gideon turned to his brother. "We can't Apparate out either, bro. So this is it."

They tried to charge again, but Wilkes' killing curse hit Fabian, who fell down. Before Gideon could start to realize that his brother was gone, Mulciber's killing curse hit him too.

The brothers, who had fought so bravely for so many years, lay on the floor, finally defeated.
