Gryffindor won the Quidditch cup for the second year running, defeating Hufflepuff easily.

The year was rapidly drawing to an end. The end of the year exams came and went. This time, no one was surprised to see that James, Remus and Sirius topped the exam yet again.

On the train journey, back to the station, James, Peter and Sirius vowed to finish the Animagus potion first thing next year. This was turning out to be the most complicated potion they had ever read about. But with Remus' help, they had almost reached the end of it. James was taking it home with him in an air-tight cauldron borrowed from Professor Slughorn.

At the station, Mrs. Potter invited Sirius to their home again. After half the holidays, Sirius left for the Potter household. The parents didn't even try very hard to stop him. But before that, Sirius put up all the red and gold hangings and banners he had bought from Hogsmeade in his room with permanent sticking charms.

Regulus was ranting quite a lot about Voldemort these days. He cut out all the newspaper clippings regarding him and put them on the walls of his room to rival his brother.
