Prologue

"You don't know me Khalid? The woman's voice trembled as tears welled up in her eyes, but then her sobs twisted into unsettling chuckles that sent shivers down Raven Khalid spine. "How rude you are to forget me?"

His brows furrowed in confusion, Khalid replied, "I-I don't know you, please leave us alone."

Her voice took on a serious tone, devoid of any trace of amusement. "What if I don't? What if I don't want you to marry anyone? What if I take you with me?" Her gaze bore into Khalid's, the seriousness etched into every line of her face.

A brief silence hung in the air before she continued, her voice now sweet but her eyes filled with anger. Slowly, she reached out and gently cupped Khalid's face in her hands, her touch sending a chill down his spine. "Would you be happy with me, Khalid?"

"Leave us alone please, I don't know you"

Ang malalagim na tawa ng babae ay nagpuno sa sasakyan, nagdulot ng takot sa puso ni Khalid, habang siya ay nakaupo sa likod. Then, she shouted, "No! No!" before bursting into laughter once more. "Why did you forget me?" she demanded, her voice filled with anguish. Khalid's hands trembled as he struggled to comprehend the ghost's torment. Suddenly, she sniffed and let out an angry shout, "Why!"

"LEAVE US ALONE!"

Sa sobrang kaba ay naisigaw niya iyon nagpagewanggewang ang kanilang sinasakyang kotse, napapikit nalng siya at napatakip sa tenga ng matinis na hagikhik mula sa babae ang narinig nito, waring natutuwa sa nangyayari.

"S-Sir nawawalan tayo ng preno! "

As their driver attempted to steer away from the oncoming track, the car veered off course and crashed into a post. Just before the collision, Khalid felt a cold breath brush against his ear, accompanied by a haunting whisper
