Chapter 17

"Reece, that's Benji jr." John introduced.

"Your half brother " said John.

They sat around the table while John made dinner and brought to the table.

"So which breeze blow you here eh?" John asked.

"Caz longtime no see" He continued.

"Yeah, did affi take weh miself" said Benji jr.

"Ye, last time I see u was when you came here" John said.

"Ye..." Benji jr. Said

"So who's that?" Benji jr. Asked.

"Oh, Sasha" Reece said.

"Harrington? Cause she looked like the Harringtons" Benji commented.

"Ya" John said.

Sasha was silent.

Benji jr. got up from the table, punched door and then use his feet to kick it, facing the window now, watching the tears fall from his eyes as he tried to stop them by biting his lip, resting is elbow on the window sill and looked out.

"Bro, she's not one of them" Reece said.

"I'm sorry but she have them last name, nuh know if I can trust her" Benji jr. Said.

"I witnessed everything [ Then he turned around facing them] I stood there and watched them kill my father, feeling that regret that I told him how they used me, and I want revenge." Benji said.

"Yo! Yuh just get here and that is the first impression of you, yuh said you were there, you knew she was a baby at the time, she had nothing to do with it." Reece said.

"I know!!but her parents tortured me!!!![pointing at his chest] and kill mi fada" He shouted then started to cry.

Sasha was crying too but Reece took her up and carried her to the room, trying to keep her cool.

John carried Benji to the living room to talk to him.

"Listen, I know you're traumatized after witnessing that, mi understand but yuh have to keep your cool man" John said.

Benji nodded.

"The police probably looking for me, John" He said.

"I know but you need to cool off and go apologize to her in the morning and Reece.

"Its been a longtime, you don't want to leave that bad impression on people and plus she pregnant, have some self control mon" John advised.

*The next day*

Sasha was outside sitting by the river reading a book she took from John's shelf. Reece came and handed her breakfast.

While they were eating, they saw the reflection of someone else walking up on them.

They both looked around and saw it was Benji. Jr.

"Hey" Benji jr. Said then cleared his throat.

"U can come sit" Reece said.

"Look, sorry about last night, I know it was none of your fault, absolutely none, I lost it, I'm not over what your parents did and honestly I want my revenge on them but you're not the problem" Benji stated.

Sasha smiled and hugged him and Reece patted him on the back to comfort him. He was still crying.

"Now that you're here" Reece said.

"We want to hear how was it like for you" Reece added.

Benji jr. Was about to answer when a loud ringing was coming from the house.

He rushed into the house and answered it, it was the telephone ringing.

"Hello who's this?" It's doctor palmer.

"Is this Reece Simmonds? " The doctor asked.

"Yes" Reece answered.

"Is Sasha close by ?" Asked Doctor palmer.

Sasha was walking towards Reece now. He put it on speaker so they both could hear.

"She's here you can speak" Reece said.

"Well, seeing that you guys are a little distant from the hospital, as you mentioned before, we've decided to call you, to tell you the news" The Doctor informed[ Reece gulped, Sasha hands were shaking, she was biting her fingernails] *complete silence for a minute* Hello?" The doctor called.

"Yes "Reece answered.

"Okay so the results are in" The doctor said.

Benji jr. walked in, "yo ew! wah smell suh?"
He asked then covered his nose.

"Sorry" Benji jr. whispered.

Reece looked at him and told him to be quiet.

Benji jr. went back outside.

"Okay now I have the paper with me, if you wished to come collect them you can." The doctor said.

"No, ah you can tell us here" Sasha said.

"Ok ok so Reece Simmonds, probability of paternity is........."
