My WIP is The Rebellion's Ashes!
1. Plot in one sentence?
Four very unlucky people spend an entire book running away from, chasing, and ruining each others lives trying to either stop, start, or avoid a war.
2. Sight, sound, smell, feel, and taste to describe the aesthetic of the novel?
Sight ~ A foggy morning over a small town, whose houses are burned down and charred. Maps and charts and uniforms. A rustic kitchen, walls lined with family pictures of no one related to you.
Smell ~ Choking, acrid smoke and metal and the faint trace of gunpowder as you realize that the fog may in fact, not be fog at all.
Sound ~ Silence in all the places it should not be or the sound of gunshots outside your kitchen window.
Feeling ~ The thud of your heart against your ribs when its so quiet out and you're trying to breathe softly.
Taste ~ Blood or canned soup. Never know.

4. Time period and location?
A hundred or so years in the future, in central Oklahoma.
5. Standalone or part of a series?
It is definately not a standalone, hehehe. The Rebellion's Ashes is book one of 6 (possibly 7?) in the End of an Empire series.
6. Any discarded former titles?
Ohohohoooo boy okay. Initially when it was based off Ready, Aim, Fire by Imagine Dragons it was called Ready, Aim, Fire!!! Yes, three exclamation marks included.
Then it was An Empire Falling, which turned into the series title briefly before being replaced by End of an Empire and it had no name for a while and I think there was one more in between but I don't remember it. Then it became The General's Fall. Now it's The Rebellion's Ashes.
7. How many times does the word ( General ) appear in your novel?
Well it's more than 22.
8. First line that comes up when you search ( flesh ) ?
"She leaned heavily against the wall, her face drawn and pale, knuckles white around the wound in the soft flesh between her chest and shoulder."
9. First line of the novel?
"An explosion rocked the dusty ground, rattling the steel tent poles together like chattering teeth."
10. Line of dialogue you're proud of?
"I don't like being wrong. But better is the man who admits his faults."
11. Line from the novel that most represents the whole?
Well there's this ironic one: Oh fine, we just over-pressed and lost Comm Center and nearly half a dozen artillery guns. All's fine and dandy. "Well enough."
This: At what point Sam's world had exploded he wasn't sure.
This: She [Gwen] frowned, glaring into the dark at Arthur. His noble and idiotic theatrics were to blame for digging up her more rebellious side after all.
But this is the best I think, for many reasons, some spoiler and some not, ehehehe: A plan well executed was the best plan.
12. Character face claims?
I have noneee and I'm too lazy to get you all pictures, so meh
13. Character Hogwarts Houses?
Rowan ~ Slytherin
Gwen ~ Hufflepuff
Sam ~ Griffindor
Chyanne ~ Slytherin
14. Which character's name do you like most?
I don't knooooooow I love them all. JK it's Jamie. Ross? Sam? Rowan?
15. Describe each character's daily outfit.
Rowan ~ Usually in uniform or blazer/suit/business formal attire for work. Lacy, loopy, fancy stuff when she's not, as well as workout gear.
Gwen ~ Lots of patterned things. Puffy things. Just T-shirts. Light, bright colors. Jeans or shorts. Kinda cutesie, kinda classy.
Sam ~ Hoodie and T-shirt kinda guy. Likes scarves for cold weather.
Chyanne ~ Black clothes. Loose clothes. Warm with lots of layers.
16. Characters have birthmarks or scars?
Sam and Chyanne both have freckles, ehehe. At the moment they don't have a whole lot of scars.
17. Color to represent each character?
Rowan ~ Deep red
Gwen ~ Sunshine yellow or pastel pink
Sam ~ Autumn orange
Chyanne ~ Dark or neon purple or navy
18. Font to represent each character?
Rowan ~ Cinzel
Gwen ~ Freebook Script
Sam ~ Josh Handwriting
Chyanne ~ Journal
19. Which character most fits a trope? Which trope?
No clue. Rowan might fit the 'bada** woman commander' trope, but those usually turn out to be evil traitors and that's not a thing. Mostly. Hm.
I don't know how to do this one without spoilers so byeeee
20. Which character is the best writer? Worst?
Rowan would be best. Chyanne would probably be worst. Or maybe Sam.
21. Which character is the best liar? Worst?
Chyanne or Rowan are both terrific liars. Gwen and Sam are both horrific liars, haha.
22. Which character swears the most? Least?
Probably Chyanne, though it's mostly internalized. Gwen doesn't swear at all.
23. Which character has the best handwriting? Worst?
Gwen. And Gwen again when she's not trying.
24. Which character is most like you? Least?
Rowan is probably most like me (she and several others were initially self and friend inserts oof), though she's certainly more focused, driven, trained, and verbally competent than I am. Chyanne is probably least.
25. Which character would you most like to be?
Dude.... *glances ahead at future books* Noneeeeee ;-; I want to be Freckles the cat.
