BLURB

Once upon a horrible evening, Yue was taking a shit with diarrhea when she got bitten by a poisonous snake stuck in the toilet bowl. Upon her unlucky death, a bored God gave her another chance to live by transmigrating her into an unfinished novel that she dropped reading.

In her second life, she was Coeur Van Saussure, considered brute and indifferent. Due to her unruly behaviour, befitting to be like those animals in the wild, she was betrothed to the Emperor's illegitimate son, who would later use her to overthrow the present Emperor.

As a sheltered child who's been controlled by her parents, Yue refused to be used once again. To change her life course, she learned about proper etiquette and started acting like a genuine lady, the opposite of how people used to know her. But what if all her efforts went to waste because, this time, the illegitimate son himself fancied her? What if she managed to stop the bloodshed over the throne but started a battle between the Emperor's sons to be her husband? Why does the General's daughter smite the princes?

NOTE

The chapter configuration of this story is different from my other stories because I'm trying to decrease my word count. Other than that, I am also thinking of new ways on making chapter titles as a trademark.

"Tangina, masisiraan na 'ata ako ng bait. Bakit ko kailangan magpakasal sa hudyong iyon?"
"We have no choice, we can't disobey the Emperor's order."
"I will disobey him! Ano ang karapatan niya? Nangingialam siya sa buhay ng iba e sarili niya ngang anak may daddy issues! Impakto!" 

"How surprising, I heard the general's daughter was a beast. Looking at how demure and graceful she is, are the gossips about her jus a plain exaggeration?" 
"Look, even the first and second prince look mesmerized by her beauty."

"Are you truly the general's daughter? The so called rude and beastly woman that even her father can't tame?" 
"Does my demeanor disappointed you?"
"No, in fact, I'm incredibly surprised. I immediately wanted to marry you."
